He's made it clear that he's not going to push for a ceasefire. He doesn't care about the Israeli captives. And so it's pretty clear to me that he's going to go ahead and attack Lebanon.” Israel has no aim to rescue its hostages. It never did. “If they actually cared about them, they would have done what should have been done very early on, which is negotiate a ceasefire. Instead, they've done the opposite. And this is why you can look at these ceasefire proposals with such skepticism. Because instead, what they've done is bombed Gaza to virtual smithereens.” Diana, whose father survived the Nakba in 1948, moved to Haifa in 2000. And like many others, she believed what the media told everyone to believe: that with a simple peace plan, Palestine would be fixed. Then she arrived in Palestine and saw the true reality. “All of the things that had been dismissed by the mainstream media,” she says, “I had dismissed too. I had dismissed this idea of settlements and the impact of settlements. And I kept thinking, it'll be undone. It'll all be undone. I dismissed the harm of what it means to be a Palestinian political prisoner, to be somebody who's abducted in the middle of the night. I dismissed the harm of the checkpoints. I dismissed a lot of things. And so when I arrived here, it was the first time that I had to confront the reality that this political process was not going to undo any of those harms.” Stopping the bombs is one thing. Stopping settlements, returning land, granting rights to Palestinians, and removing the literal wall that cages them is another. “They talk about reconfiguring the prison, reconfiguring the occupation, but they never talk about ending the occupation because this mentality of control permeates deep inside Israel.” There's only one way this ends, Diana says. “It's going to end when the world says that it's enough. And that's it.” Diana also shares haunting stories of Palestinian children who were kept in Israeli torture prisons for months, and the ways that western corporate media has worked to cover it up. Brian adds a significant contribution to the discussion about the pervasive Christian Nationalism so prevalent today - the movement that became highly visible in the January 6th assault on our nation's Capitol. It's a little-discussed fact that the foundation for Christian Nationalism was laid by the “Seven Sisters” - the mainline denominations that far and away dominated the American religious scene before the explosion of evangelical denominations in the 1960s and 70s. Brian Kaylor asserts that despite its spurious claim, “Christian Nationalism isn't Christian.” Ken and Brian unpack this thesis and review his well-researched, compelling book. They discuss Robert Bellah's “Civil Religion” and the prescient warnings from Paul Tillich and H. Richard Niebuhr. Other topics include The National Prayer Breakfast, The Family, St. John's Episcopal Church (“The President's Church”), the National Cathedral, and traditional hymnology (including the prolific hymns written by Fanny Crosby). All of this has culminated in MAGA Trumpism and the complete takeover of the Republican Party. The American Flag and the Christian Flag have been standards in mainline denominational churches throughout out history - the Confederate Flag, too. Kaylor draws on Greg Boyd's Myth of a Christian Nation to underscore the vast difference between the biblical notion of the Kingdom of God and America as the New Israel. I do have a few more questions. For example, is the Super Bowl parade shooter kin to the two Trump-supporter Rednecks who beat up Jussie Smollett and bleached him, then put the noose around his neck. Before he shot, did he yell to the KS fans, “Y'all look like that colored fella on Empire!” then all hell broke loose. Or maybe the Super Bowl Parade shooter is one of the Trump supporters who put that noose in Bubba Wallace's garage? As a warning to black Nascar drivers who NEVER WIN. “Keep losing black man, or else!” Surely this shooter can be linked to a Confederate Flag, Q-anon, or Alex Jones? Maybe we will learn that he shot up a black church somewhere. ANYWHERE! Better yet, the Super Bowl Parade Shooter burned down black churches in the last century. As Democrats watch in horror. And he wore a Trump MAGA shirt. Rumor is the Super Bowl Parade shooter is the person who dropped the coke at the White House and tried to blame it on Hunter Biden. Reports are that this shooter could also be the SCOTUS leaker and resembles the Tea Party racist. I even heard he is the person who really slapped Chris Rock and not Will Smith. Why are we even looking for this shooter or arresting people who fit the description and had the firearm, when Trump might become president for a second term. For all we know, Trump is the REAL shooter!! Coincidence? Hunter Biden has yet to be indicted, although his list of crimes and potential crimes is longer than a Polish last name. Human trafficking, drugs use, money-laundering, FARA violations, and possession of a firearm by a felon only begin to form the list of Hunter Biden's crimes. So in typical Biden administration Gestapo tactics, they arrest the good guy. We hear phrases like "weaponizing the justice system" against adversaries, and this epitomizes that scenario. Joe Biden has yet again arranged for his henchmen to target a Biden accuser. Peaceful January 6 protesters are rotting in prison over a Democrat-contrived farce that they use in an attempt to keep Trump from serving his rightful second term. And to hedge their bets, the Biden administration works with Democrats and RINOs in Congress and state attorneys generals, and large city DAs to beat Trump into submission. Clearly, EVERY case against Trump is an orchestrated move to thwart the 2024 Presidential Election, as Democrats know they won't beat Trump with Dominion machines this time. [X] SB – Biden explains Ukraine's role in the MIC [SEGMENT 2-4] Whistleblower arrested 2 So we get General Mike Flynn version 2.0. The Hill reports, The confidential source at the center of allegations being promoted by House Republicans that President Biden accepted a bribe has been arrested and charged with making false statements to the FBI. The allegations risk unwinding the House GOP probe into President Biden. In making their case, GOP lawmakers have frequently pointed to conversations the confidential source, Alexander Smirnov, had with the FBI relaying that the head of Ukrainian energy company Burisma told him he had paid both President Biden and his son Hunter Biden $5 million. The indictment alleges Smirnov made up the allegations given his opposition to President Biden's candidacy. “As alleged in the indictment, the events that Smirnov first reported to the FBI Agent in June 2020 were fabrications,” the Justice Department wrote in a press release announcing the grand jury indictment. “The indictment alleges that the defendant transformed his routine and unextraordinary business contacts with Burisma in 2017 and later into bribery allegations against Public Official 1 after expressing bias against Public Official 1 and his presidential candidacy,” they added, referring to President Biden. Interesting timing, given all the press around Joe Biden's age and senility. If you can't fight back on the facts, give America a distraction, albeit fake news. Does anybody think Smirnov would return the U.S. if he thought he would get arrested? The article continues, Smirnov was arrested on Valentine's Day at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas as he was arriving to the U.S. from overseas, and was charged with making a false statement and creating a false and fictitious record The charges were brought by special counsel David Weiss, a Trump appointee who has brought tax changes against Hunter Biden, who once served on Burisma's board. Republicans have frequently pointed to Smirnov's role as a confidential human informant to the FBI. His conversations were memorialized in an FD-1023 that relayed what he heard from Mykola Zlochevsky, the Burisma official. The FBI was never able to corroborate the information, but the tip has become central to the House GOP's impeachment probe, which has sought to connect the allegations to then Vice President Biden's efforts to oust a Ukrainian prosecutor accused by the international community of failing to address corruption. The FBI can't catch bombers, even when they mail the agency manifestos. But they nabbed Smirnov before the ink dried on his testimony. Without a doubt, this is the Biden administration using the FBI as its attack dog to smear Smirnov. The evidence against Joe Biden and his family overwhelms even the most disinterested observer, yet the Left pretend none exist. The gall of these people to lie shameless in our faces is astounding. What next? Will we be told that the wire transfers of millions of dollars didn't happen? Or perhaps the 170 or so Suspicious Activity Reports are fraudulent too? Will they deny the recordings of the Bidens and Hunter's own utterances. I feel like I did after hear Blasey-Ford drone on an on about her hippocampus in describing her "rape" 40 years early by Kavanaugh. Enough already...Skank. Smirnov has done nothing wrong except to be on the wrong side of the Left's lie. The DOJ stated, referring to Joe and Hunter Biden: “Despite repeated admonishments that he must provide truthful information to the FBI and that he must not fabricate evidence, Smirnov provided false derogatory information to the FBI about Public Official 1, and Businessperson 1, the son of Public Official 1, in 2020, after Public Official 1 became a presidential candidate.” Understand this Smirnov provided information to the FBI knowing the consequences of lying. He wasn't under investigation; had no skin in the game. He simply wanted to do the right thing. What a message to Americans: tell the truth and get arrested. And we wonder how Weinstein could molest women for decades? Or the feigned outrage of Leftists over the exposure of Epstein? These predators operated with immunity for decades, and with full knowledge of powerful people who decide winners and losers. Somewhere along the way powerful Leftists declared them losers. But that's the only way they were taken down. Joe Biden used a $1 billion loan guarantee to get the monkey of the back of his family's illegal business. Yes America, it's really that simple. What we now witness is how far Leftists will go to lie and protect the liar. If Republicans continue to fight fair, this game is over. You can't win a fixed game, save Trump. Speaking of Trump, in case you wonder why he rises in the polls with every persecution, I give you Smirnov. Americans know the end-game when the see it. If they defeat Trump and Biden get off, we truly have no country. How do you go from being a "credible source" to arrested? Speak the truth to an administration of liars. The Biden administration and those who control them will push the American people too far. That won't end well for them and it won't be good for the country. EPISODE 230: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:43) SPECIAL COMMENT: Special Counsel Jack Smith may be readying an indictment against Trump for illegally attempting to coerce Mike Pence to defy his legal duties in the Electoral College count? Ryan Goodman from “Just Security,” whom I cite here frequently though I don't know him and only because he knows this stuff, told Bill Kristol's podcast that he thinks Jack Smith quote “going to indict Trump for the False Slate of Electors scheme” – and with Goodman saying the odds Fonny Willis indicts on False Electors and election interference in Georgia are 90 percent, Trump could face twin federal and state cases on overlapping topics. And then Goodman adds something that took my breath away. Indicting Trump for False Electors, “AND quite probably/possibly the pressure campaign against Mike Pence.” Wait – what? Goodman sets the odds on Jack Smith indicting Trump ABOUT PENCE… at 60 to 70 percent. Pressuring the Vice President, Goodman says, quoting him again “is independent of whether or not he thought he won the election. He can think he won the election, doesn't matter. But you can't try to coerce a public official to defy their legal duties – which is just to count the votes.” Goodman doesn't mention that, but you will remember that Stewart Rhodes and other Oathkeepers were prosecuted for – and convicted of – interfering with Congress's ability to complete its legal duties. Ponder for a moment the prospect of Smith indicting Trump, running for the Republican nomination, for attempting to coerce PENCE, running for the Republican nomination. Oh and necessarily having Pence TESTIFY AGAINST TRUMP either before Trump is nominated or before the election.  I'm beginning to think we may have WILDLY under-estimated how many MORE things Jack Smith is about to indict Trump for. There is reason today to believe that the number of separate indictments OF Trump BY Smith could be as many as FOUR. Maybe even FIVE. The Florida GOP wants to make the state a right-wing hellscape. The gun-shine-state's Draconian six-week abortion bill is making its way through the Florida legislature. Florida's Czar, Governor DeSantis, might have a tough time winning his own state in the 2024 presidential election because of Trump. Shitler claims he wanted to keep his hook-up with Stormy Daniels quiet because he didn't want Melania to know but there's evidence showing she already knew about it. A crack-pot MAGAT legislature in Virginia wants to make it a felony to pass gun control laws. The French have been protesting over Macron raising the retirement age. Mother's Husband, AKA Mike Pence, suggested Trump is a bad Christian. A Republican lawmaker from Florida said he filed legislation allowing the flying of Confederate Flag in error. Man-baby went full Festivus during former FOX bot Kimberly Guilfoyle's birthday party. Abortive smoothy-artist Jason Miller, along with his team at the Trumpkin social media company Gettr, has pivoted to the unvaccinated sperm biz.

So I posted a video on Instagram today about these 12 confederate flags that wave hello to me on a daily basis a few yards away from my house in Nashville, TN. I didn't think anyone would question the validity of my being offended. But then people did. And then I found myself having convos in my DM's that were eerily similar to my DMs in 2020. Unsurprisingly, Jean-Pierre declined to answer the question and instead referred reporters to the DOJ—which, according to several reporters, is also reluctant to provide comprehensive answers.  4:25pm- On Twitter, billionaire Elon Musk wrote, the World Economic Forum “is increasingly becoming an unelected world government that the people never asked for and don't want.” Panelists during one of the WEF's meetings predicted that there could soon be a catastrophic cyber attack. 4:35pm- Eli Lake—Contributing Editor at Commentary Magazine & Host of The Reeducation Podcast—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest article, “American Nomenklatura.” In the piece, Lake writes of social media's content moderators and the role they play according to revelations in the “Twitter File” releases: “In just a few short years, this nomenklatura has come to constitute an implicit ruling class on the Internet, one that collectively determines what information and news sources the rest of us should see on major platforms. Talk about ‘free speech' and ‘the First Amendment' may actually be beside the point here. In a letter to Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned, “[f]ailure to meet the government's obligations would cause irreparable harm to the U.S. economy, the livelihoods of all Americans, and global financial stability.” Meanwhile, Congressman James Comer (R-TN) told Jake Tapper that “our national debt is one of the biggest threats to our national security.” So, who is right? Where some saw a confusing jumble," though, Gorski and Perry "saw a familiar ideology: white Christian nationalism." At Coosa High School in Rome, GA, five Black students and their parents are suing the Floyd County School District in a civil lawsuit in which they allege that the school district has continually shown indifference to racial discrimination. The school garnered national attention after a group of white students carried Confederate Flag memorabilia and shouted racial slurs at students of color. In response, a multiracial coalition of students moved to organize a Black Lives Matter demonstration. The principal of the school denied the request to demonstrate and only suspended the five Black students in the lawsuit.    We spoke with Andrea Young, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia, about the Coosa High School lawsuit and what it means for the state of civil rights. On June 17, 2015, a white extremist shot and killed nine Black people in the Mother Emanuel AME church in Charleston, South Carolina as they gathered for a bible study group. This wasn't the first time Mother Emanuel had been attacked. Church historian Elizabeth Alston tells Trymaine Lee, that in the 1820s, white people burned down Mother Emanuel in retaliation over a failed slave rebellion. For years, the congregation was forced to meet in secret. But through all the violence and backlash, the Black congregants relied on their faith, and during Reconstruction, they rebuilt. Mother Emanuel's history mirrors the story of Black America. Through the centuries, faith has helped Black people find freedom, community, and strength, even in the face of violence.In episode three of ‘Reconstructed,' Into America explores the legacy of faith through Reconstruction. Historian Kidada Williams shares testimonies of the devastating violence and terrorism that white people inflicted upon their Black neighbors. And Spencer Crew, co-curator of the National Museum of African American History and Culture's exhibit on Reconstruction, explains how faith and the church were vital to the survival of newly freed people. This tradition of faith in the face of backlash holds true today. Trymaine talks with Bree Newsome Bass, whose incredible protest of scaling a 30-foot pole to take down the Confederate flag from the South Carolina state capitol made her an icon of the movement. Bree's actions led to the permanent removal of the Confederate flag from the state house.
