Would you like to receive a daily, random quote by email from my Little Box of Quotes? https://constantine.name/lboq A long long time ago I began collecting inspirational quotes and aphorisms. I kept them on the first version of my web site, where they were displayed randomly. But as time went on, I realized I wanted them where I would see them. Eventually I copied the fledgeling collection onto 3×5 cards and put them in a small box. As I find new ones, I add cards. Today, there are more than 1,000 quotes and the collection continues to grow. Hello, I'm Craig Constantine

Callum is joined by the OG legends from the US, Max Henry and Brandon Douglass. Max is known across the parkour globe for his incredible power and practically unmatched textbook technique and precision. On top of that, he's known to be one of the most knowledgeable parkour nerds our community has to offer. Among many accolades, he has written a book called The Parkour Roadmap, which every self-respecting parkourist should have on their bookshelf, and also started the production company called Point A. Brandon Douglass is an absolute unit and one of the strongest minds in our sport when it comes to overcoming mental challenges. Kristine, Max, Julius and Sean came over to watch Red Bull Art of Motion 2021 and record a reaction show. I had already seen the live stream because I couldn't wait, but mostly everyone else was seeing it for the first time. Also we skip around the stream and pause it and so don't expect a clean sync with the actual Red Bull replay. ALSO if you're wondering why Sean was filming us, it was for a secret project. ALSO Milton the stuffed bear joined. ALSO We had a great time thanks to all the Red Bull Competitors and Production team for putting on a great show and to all the viewers and listeners. Much love! Welcome back to the Evolve Move Play Podcast! This week our guest is Max Henry, a veteran of the parkour scene and the author of The Parkour Roadmap. Max is a very thoughtful guy who has traveled all over the world and done extensive stunt work and worked at a very high level within parkour. I was initially interested in touching base with him also because he's taken interest in the philosophical side of the sport and understanding the hero's journey and how that applies to our practice within parkour. Among other things, in this chat we dug deep into Max's personal physical practice and how he builds himself up and prepares for challenges. I think if you are interested in how high level parkour is practiced, and how people build up for that practice, this is gonna be a really fantastic interview for you to watch. So check it out and don’t forget to like, subscribe, and hit that notification icon so you can catch all our upcoming episodes as soon as they drop every Monday. ============

Montreal's genre-defying SUUNS (pronounced SOONZ) recently announced a new album, Felt, with the first single, “Watch You, Watch Me.” I can't wait to hear the new music. If you forced me to define SUUNS, I'd say they make a mixture of indie, kraut, and shoegaze rock, but it's not easy to define them and that's what makes SUUNS special. I hung out with Joseph Yarmush (guitar and bass) and Max Henry (bass) from the band the last time they were in Vancouver touring their fourth record, Hold/Still. We chatted in a busy alley behind The Rickshaw and while I set up, Joe had the cutest conversation about a double rainbow with his young son. How does Joe experience music with his son? Which band member does not like Massive Attack? Which song from Hold/Still did SUUNS work on for over two years? Why are SUUNS songs constantly evolving? Which song off Hold/Still is actually a reworked old SUUNS song from the very first record? What was it like working with an outside producer, John Congleton--for the first time? What delicious meals do these guys cook each other for dinner? How does the band decide who gets to control the music player in the tour van? What are Joe and Max listening to right now? Who do they think is cool? You'll have to listen to find out! Tracks played on the radio edit of the show... 1) SUUNS, Hold/Still (2016) "Paralyzer" 2) SUUNS, Hold/Still (2016) "Translate" 3) SUUNS, Images Du Futur (2013) "2020" 4) SUUNS, Hold/Still (2016) "Brainwash" ALL songs CANCON

Chillin with Max Henry and Milo Finnegan-Money lead to an interesting conversation about the most influential parkour videos. In this second part of our conversation we delve further into how certain videos changed the way we train and maybe the community as a whole.
We journeyed to NYC and had the chance to train with Storror during the last leg of their Chaps on Tour USA trip. We were lucky enough to get an interview with Callum Powell which developed into a really interesting conversation about parkour and security. Joining us is Max Henry, Joel Eggimann, Lucas Dimoveo, Guillem Mataró Pereira, and Sacha Powell (although he's asleep)
