Today on a Daily Walk we're reminded in a powerful way that it's the blood of Jesus that redeems, and that's why it's so important to talk about. And why it's emphasized in Hebrews chapter ten. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29?v=20251111
Pastor John Randall will continue his series in Hebrews today. Have you ever wondered why all of the sacrifices in the Old Testament? They really couldn't accomplish forgiveness for a sinner once and for all. But they pointed to the one who can… Jesus Christ! Pastor John is about to point to the superiority of the sacrifice of Jesus through this important study in Hebrews chapters nine and ten. And by the end of our time together I think you'll see we have good reason to give thanks to God, this day, and every day! This week, Pastor Jim walks us through Hebrews 10:1–18, where we see the insufficiency of the law's repeated sacrifices compared to Christ's once-for-all offering. The old sacrifices served only as a shadow, never able to fully cleanse the worshiper. But through Jesus' perfect obedience and single sacrifice, we are made holy, forgiven, and assured that our sins are remembered no more.Text: Hebrews 10:1-18
In week one of our new series "Consumed" we dig into the power of words. Throughout life we tend to get labels placed on us about who we are. It can feel like our identity. In this message we rip down those false identities and find out who we truly are in christ.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: God's Pursuit of the Lost Today, we're diving into Luke 15:1-10, the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin. These vivid stories unveil God's relentless pursuit of the lost and the uncontainable joy in heaven when one soul repents. Written around AD 60-62 to Theophilus, a Gentile believer, Luke's Gospel portrays Jesus as the Savior for all—tax collectors, sinners, the forgotten. The big idea? God seeks the lost with unwavering love, and heaven rejoices over every heart that turns to Him. Our proposition: As Christ's followers, we must reflect that pursuit, prioritizing one soul's repentance over our comfort and celebrating with heaven. * * * * * Once again, thanks for joining us in our time of worshiping the Lord through His Word! This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: Trusting God's Plan We're about to dive into a message that speaks directly to the heart of every believer: trusting God's plan, rooted in the powerful promise of Jeremiah 29:11. Life can feel like a rollercoaster—full of unexpected twists, turns, and moments that leave us questioning what's next. But God's Word assures us He has a purpose for every step, even when we can't see the road ahead. Today, we'll unpack three practical ways to rely on God's guidance through life's uncertainties: 1. Resting in His promises, 2. Seeking His direction, and 3. Embracing His timing. This sermon isn't just about inspiration—it's about giving you tools to live out your faith in tangible ways. We'll lean on Scripture, share real-life examples, and offer actionable steps to deepen your trust in God. * * * * * Once again, thanks for joining us in our time of worshiping the Lord through His Word! Why do we sing blood songs? What did the blood represent?
Even after nine terrible plagues, Pharaoh refused to allow the Israelites to go worship, but Exodus 12 begins introducing God's preparation for the salvation of his people and how it was to be memorialized forever.
I often think of one of my favorite hymns, that goes like this: What can wash away my sin?" with a refrain, "Nothing but the blood of Jesus." The song is simple yet profound in its meaning—the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, is God's way of washing away the guilt and stain of sin in our lives! In one of the Apostle Paul's letters to the church at Corinth, he spoke on the issue of the blood of Jesus. Here is some of what he said: 18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. 19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise And the understanding of those who have understanding, I will confound." 20 Where is the wise person? Here is the scribe. Here is the debater of this age: as God did not make foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness, 24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Paul explained that the wisdom of God, as manifested through the Cross of Christ, was a "stumbling block" to the Jews, and the Gentiles as well. On the cross, Jesus, the Son of God, shed his blood for us. Through his death and resurrection, God worked to cleanse us of the guilt of sin, pay the penalty of the sin of humanity, and, finally, conquer death for us all. This is the Gospel message! It is all based upon the work of Jesus on the cross; His blood, shed for us on the cross, is God's plan to save humanity. The Jews resist this message, because it means that their religious experiences and rituals, and their lineage as the 'people of God,' cannot save them. Too, the Gentiles rebel against the message of the cross, because the wisdom of this world, and the accomplishments of man, cannot separate them from the guilt of their sin. Only the message of the cross can save anyone! Modern man has a problem when confronted with talk of the "blood of Jesus;" that sort of talk seems so outdated and barbaric! However, this is the wisdom of God that guides us, invites God's power to work in our lives, and enables us to live in a relationship with God, both now and in the life that is to come. Here is another passage from the Apostle Paul, this time from his letter to the church at Rome. "But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. Romans 5:8-9 Let us all accept this wisdom that is from God, and live! Dan Kent and Cedrick Baker break down this week's message by Cedrick titled: "Nothing but the Blood."
Cedrick Baker brings a message on the victory that comes by the blood of Jesus. This victory is more than a legal declaration of personal cleansing of sin, it is an experience by those who embrace a life of cruciform participation. Following Jesus is not merely about belief; it costs us our lives, as it did the martyrs in John's vision.
