Returning to Luke 1, Pastor John focuses on Zechariah and Elizabeth. Old and advanced, they appear to have forgotten their prayers for a child. But God never forgets our past prayers. Zechariah knew God's word but struggled even when an angel gave him a promise from the Lord. We can be just like Zechariah but like him we are not forgotten. Instead, we need to learn to trust God and just take Him at His Word. After all, He is always faithful in word and deed.

Christmas can be hard for some of us and Pastor John identifies with this. He then encourages us to focus on the real meaning and beauty of Christmas through all our stress, anxiety, depression, and distractions. Go to Him and He will give us rest to our souls. After all, all things have been handed over to Him. To get perspective about the season, Pastor John then goes to Luke 1 and points out that the Greatest has come. And like Mary we need to learn to respond, āI am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.ā
Loneliness often comes when responsibility is heavy and no one else can carry it for you. One of the loneliest moments in life is when something depends entirely on youāwhen there is no one else to step in. That's why God chose to come as a baby. A baby changes everything. Where you go. What you do. Who you spend time with. What you value. In this message, we explore why Jesus didn't arrive with power, spectacle, or forceābut instead came helpless, innocent, and dependent. Not because He lacked power, but because He was inviting love. We often ask, āDo I have room for Jesus?ā But the real question is, āWill I make room?ā Will you make room in your habits? Your relationships? Your addictions? Your dreams and plans for the future? Through Jesus' teaching about the hidden treasure, the story of His birth, and the powerful restoration of Peter after denial and failure, we see this truth clearly: The way back to God is love. If you've ever felt lonely, disqualified, ashamed, or unsure whether God still wants youāthis message is for you. Make room for the Baby. Make room for Jesus. Let Him change everything.
