When we are trying to let go of dieting and be more "normal" around food, it can be verrrrry challenging to know when to stop eating. Are you supposed to listen to your body? Measure or count something? Get specific portions? When we're left with just ourselves (without following a food plan), how in the heck are we supposed to know when to put down our fork and leave the table?! I'm sharing 3 different approaches today on the Youtube channel and podcast (below). You'll find different "levels" based on how much structure vs allowing you need. Dive on in! Sometimes we can get to a point where we think, "I've been 'doing' Intuitive Eating for X weeks/months/years, so why haven't I lost the weight yet?!"And we get frustrated about not losing weight. I know for me, the more I cared about my weight not moving, the more I obsessed over "why wasn't it working", the more stuck I felt. It can seem like an endless cycle. We fixate and think about it, try to stuff it down, and never deal with it. (There's this misnomer that we're not "supposed to" want to lose weight on this path) So, this is exactly what I'm diving in to in today's episode. The next time you get frustrated about not losing weight, I want you to ask yourself these 3 questions:
