The morbid exercise that Liz swears by for making better decisions in bed and everywhere else—and why thinking about your 85-year-old self might be the permission slip you need to stop worrying about how your thighs look in those pants. Why "friends with benefits" might mean something completely different to you than it does to your partner—and the crucial conversation most couples skip before slapping labels on their relationship (spoiler: this applies to marriage too). The biggest myth about what makes someone "good" in bed, and why Liz believes your sex life can transform no matter where you're starting from. That one body part you've never considered an erogenous zone—until Liz reveals hers and suddenly you're rethinking everything you thought you knew about turn-ons. The real reason habits fail (hint: it's not about willpower)—and why letting go of routines that once served you doesn't make you a failure, it makes you self-aware. Plus: the conversation starter deck that's saving marriages by getting couples on the same page about money, desire, childhood trauma, and the question "how much do you need to feel safe?" that revealed way more than Liz expected. For the human brain, we all have a negativity bias. It's not a flaw; it's actually a survival mechanism. So, it's not that your clients are necessarily overreacting, it's more that their biology is perceiving a threat when none might even be there. Tessa Santarpia. Essential listening for anyone who intellectually knows what needs to change but keeps defaulting to familiar patterns. You know what needs to change. You can feel it. But somehow you keep choosing the same responses, the same strategies, the same patterns—and then wonder why nothing shifts. In this episode, Meghan gets to the heart of why "more of the same plus more of the same equals more of the same"—and what it actually takes to break free. Drawing from Dawson Church's neuroscience research in Mind to Matter and Dr. John Churchill's work on the imaginal realm, she reveals how our brains are wired for efficiency, not transformation. The good news? You have the power to interrupt old patterns and literally rewire your neural pathways toward new possibilities. This isn't about willpower or waiting for circumstances to change. It's about understanding that you are the architect of your reality, and change begins the moment you consciously choose to do something different. Not tomorrow. Today. Dr. Joe Dispenza was told he'd never walk again after a truck ran over him during a triathlon, shattering six vertebrae in his spine. Instead of accepting the prognosis and undergoing dangerous surgery, he made a radical choice to heal himself through the power of his mind, spending hours each day reconstructing his spine in his imagination and connecting to an invisible intelligence within. Ten and a half weeks later, he was back on his feet, defying every medical prediction. This experience launched him on a decades-long journey studying the mind-body connection, quantum physics, and the science of transformation. Now, through his research with thousands of brain scans and his week-long events around the world, he's teaching people how to become nobody, step into the quantum field, and create miraculous healings from stage four cancer to blindness to paralysis.Dr. Joe's retreatsCheck out Dr. Joe's film SourceDr. Joe's book Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the UncommonDr. Joe's book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New OneIn this episode you will:Discover why 95% of who you are by age 35 is just a set of memorized behaviors and emotional reactions running on autopilot, and how becoming conscious of these unconscious patterns is the first step to freedomLearn the exact formula for entering the quantum field where all possibilities exist by becoming nobody, no one, nothing, nowhere, and no timeMaster the science of creating brain and heart coherence to amplify your energy and broadcast a completely new signature into the fieldUnderstand why stress hormones keep you enslaved to three-dimensional reality and how to break free by changing your brainwaves and opening your awarenessTransform your relationship with healing by learning how to signal your genes to turn off disease and turn on repair, regeneration, and restorationFor more information go to https://lewishowes.com/1857For more Greatness text PODCAST to +1 (614) 350-3960More SOG episodes we think you'll love:Muniba Mazari – greatness.lnk.to/1684SCSadhguru – greatness.lnk.to/1800SCDr. Marc Brackett – greatness.lnk.to/1843SC Get more from Lewis! This episode is brought to you by Fatty15, WHOOP and Timeline. Dr. Patrick Porter, PhD joins us today to break down what brain fitness really means and why modern life is overwhelming a biological system that was never designed for today's pace. Dr. Porter explains how brain energy, neuroplasticity, breathwork, mitochondria, sleep architecture, stress physiology, light exposure, and daily rituals all influence our ability to think clearly, recover deeply, and perform at a high level. We explore the science behind neurogenesis, the glymphatic system, alpha and delta brainwave states, the impact of sugar and artificial sweeteners on cognitive decline, how breathing and light frequencies regulate the nervous system, and why most people are unknowingly compromising their sleep, metabolism, and cognitive output. Packed with actionable tools—from box breathing and SMR training to healthier morning routines, supplements, and digital hygiene—this episode is a masterclass on how to build a sharper brain and age better. On this episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life host Sana sits down with Australian author and happiness researcher Adam Brownlie to strip forgiveness of the clichés and look at it as a real mental health skill. Instead of treating forgiveness like a moral slogan, Adam frames it as the act of releasing resentment so your nervous system is not running on stress all the time. Together they unpack why so much emotional suffering comes from replaying past events, how our judgments create hormones like cortisol and dopamine, and why decisions are less about free choice and more about causes in our brain and environment. The conversation moves from theory to practice, with simple ways to notice your own thought patterns, question old stories, and loosen the grip of self blame. If you are stuck between “I know I should let go” and “I honestly can't yet,” this episode gives you language, perspective and tools without pretending the process is easy or instant. About The Guest: Adam Brownlie is an Australian writer, speaker and creator of Happypedia, a holistic guide that blends science, psychology and modern philosophy to explore what truly makes life meaningful. His acclaimed sci fi novel The Last Gods uses future focused storytelling to ask hard questions about identity, morality and what it means to be human. Through his books, talks and community work, Adam focuses on happiness, mental health, relationships and the everyday habits that shape our inner world. His work is grounded, practical and centred on real human behaviour rather than quick fix positivity. Key Takeaways: Forgiveness is not about excusing harm. It is about releasing resentment so your nervous system is not locked in chronic stress from past events. True forgiveness is mainly for you. When you let go of resentment, the main benefit is your own mental health, sleep, focus and relationships. Adam outlines three paths to forgiveness. waiting for feelings to fade, changing your perspective on what happened, or seeing that the other person's actions were unavoidable given their brain, history and state in that moment. Our judgments drive our biochemistry. When we judge something as bad, we produce stress hormones. When we reframe or understand the cause, the body stops hitting the panic button. Decisions are often unpredictable in the moment, which suggests they are less “free” than they feel. Seeing choices as the result of causes can soften harsh self blame and harsh judgment of others. You can want accountability and still move toward forgiveness. Naming your pain and asking “What made you act this way?” can open space for understanding without denying the harm. Emotional residue, like getting triggered by old memories, does not mean you are failing at forgiveness. It can simply show that your beliefs and judgments around the event still need updating. Practical practice. regularly notice how your own decisions appear, question the story “they could have just chosen differently,” and look for perspectives that reduce resentment without gaslighting your experience. Gratitude isn't fluff—it's a neural training tool. In this episode, we break down how a simple daily gratitude practice drives neuroplasticity (neural elasticity) to calm your nervous system and sharpen your mind. You'll learn how gratitude strengthens the prefrontal cortex, softens the amygdala's alarm, improves memory recall via the hippocampus, and reduces rumination in the Default Mode Network—with real-world benefits like lower cortisol, better HRV, deeper sleep, and steadier mood. We walk you through a 10-minute protocol you can start tonight (breath, specific recall, short journaling, optional message to someone you appreciate), plus easy anchors to make it stick. Expect practical demos, measurable ways to track progress over 14 days, and simple cues to deploy "appreciation on demand" when stress hits. She is the founder of Oracle School, a global online learning platform with students in 35 countries, where self-empowerment, co-creation, and ancient oracles meet in a modern, contemporary way. She's also the creator of the energy psychology technique, "Invision—The Total Mindshift Process." Her latest book, co-authored with Anna Denning, titled The Art of Manifesting: A Meditative Drawing Practice to Rewire Your Brain and Create Your Reality, was recently released through Hay House. Conversation insights include: -Colette's origin story: childhood claircognizance, inherited trauma, and the path from addiction to nearly 40 years sober through spiritual practice -Discovering the "neuro-arts" and how drawing engages new brain circuits so the body "knows it's real" -Avoiding the "is it here yet?" trap; celebrate as if it's happening now and surrender the timing and form -You keep what you become. Visioning asks: Who must I be? What vibration must I hold to stabilize my results? Plus, a "how to doodle your destiny" live demo -Rewiring expectation: your brain looks for what you believe—this is where practical mysticism meets neuroplasticity -Breaking the matrix of fear by radiating compassion where you live and carrying your own "atmosphere" -With practice, joy becomes your baseline—events pass through but your awareness remains steady -Collette's Oracle School: Four-month training using oracle cards for reflection and "next right action" (not prediction) -Spotlighting *The Art of Manifesting* book with Colette and Anna Denning Next, Michael leads a guided meditation on choosing joy, feeling 'all needs met now,' and giving thanks.
JOIN THE 7 DAY RESET - ▶️ www.therebuiltman.com/7dayreset In episode 304 of The Rebuilt Man, Coach Frank exposes a hard truth most men never hear: Your battle isn't with lust — your battle is with identity. Lust doesn't destroy a man because he's weak. It destroys him because it rewires his brain to see himself and women the wrong way — training the mind to seek escape over connection, fantasy over purpose, and stimulation over leadership. But the brain is not stuck. With the right tools, habits, and identity framework, your brain can be rewired for strength, discipline, intimacy, and masculine purpose. Inside this episode, Frank breaks down seven science-backed and faith-rooted methods to reprogram your brain from lust and objectification, so you can finally stop relapsing, take back control, and become the man God created you to be. Expect to Learn Why the real problem isn't temptation — it's identity How lust conditions your brain to see women as objects instead of humans What neuroplasticity has to do with sexual urges and relapse The 7 proven steps to rewire your brain for strength, discipline, and purpose How to transform urges into fuel for leadership Why fighting alone guarantees failure — and how community accelerates healing What God intended masculinity to look like — and how to reclaim it Key Takeaways Most men think their battle is with lust, but the real battle is with identity. Lust doesn't destroy a man because he's weak — it destroys him because it rewires his brain. Until you change the programming, you'll always return to the same behavior. Freedom begins when a man rewires the brain and restores his identity. True masculinity isn't driven by lust — it's driven by leadership, purpose, connection, and faith. Internet addiction weakens the brain regions that control focus and decision-making, leaving you more vulnerable to stress, anxiety, poor sleep, and compulsive scrolling Exercise acts like a reset button, directly strengthening your brain's control systems, balancing stress hormones, and restoring healthy dopamine release so you feel more in charge of your choices Different exercises target different benefits: Footbike training boosts impulse control, swimming activates self-control centers, and basketball improves attention and quick decision-making while offering social rewards Mind–body practices such as mindfulness, yoga, tai chi, and DanceSport reduce cravings and help you replace digital rewards with healthier real-world engagement that supports both emotional balance and motivation Simple tools like riding out cravings without acting on them, savoring positive movement experiences, and linking activity to personal values train your brain to crave movement instead of screen time, making change both easier and more sustainable
Have you ever gone absolutely bananas when your team scores that last-minute winner against an old rival? Or slouched on the couch for hours after a devastating defeat? Well, it's not just you being dramatic, your brain is actually getting rewired in real time!A new scientific study has revealed that when football fans watch their favourite team win or lose, it's not just their hearts racing, their brains are lighting up in very specific ways. Retirement is often envisioned by retirees as an eternal vacation. No alarms, no deadlines, no meetings. But as retirement life coach and neuroscience expert Cyn Meyer explains, that sudden stop can do strange things to the brain. After years of chasing goals and deadlines, your mind is wired for achievement. So when the structure disappears, it doesn't relax, it actually panics. Many retirees experience what Cyn calls “retirement shock,” where the loss of routine and purpose quietly rewires the brain toward anxiety, depression, or a deep sense of aimlessness.Cyn joins Matt to explain what's really happening inside the brain when you stop working — and how to prevent negative effects. Through her Rewire Retirement Method, Cyn helps retirees replace structure with growth, rediscover purpose through small daily habits, and create new pathways for meaning that last well beyond a career. In this episode, she reveals how to use your brain's natural adaptability to build the vibrant, purpose-filled retirement most people never prepare for.My website with more Medicare resources, books, courses, and more: https://prepareformedicare.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=organic_descriptionI recommend my wife's Medicare insurance agency, but there's never any obligation or pressure to work with her team. Joe combines neuroscience, psychology, and faith to help men break porn addiction by rewiring the brain, mastering emotional regulation, and discovering their God-given purpose. From his early exposure at seven years old to leading hundreds of men through year-long transformation programs, Joe's story is one of redemption, science-backed recovery, and unshakable hope. Expect To Learn The two questions every man must answer to break free from addiction Why porn isn't the problem, it's the solution you've been using to cope How to retrain your nervous system and regulate emotions without porn Why most men stay stuck in cycles of hopelessness and avoidance The difference between "trying" and actually doing the work How pain and suffering become the path to masculine integration Why men need both challenge and attunement to heal and grow The spiritual battle behind addiction and how the enemy attacks your identity How to replace anxiety with presence, and live life in full color again Key Takeaways Porn was never your problem, it was your coping mechanism. You quit everything — screens, stimulation, even connection — thinking it would make you feel alive again. But three weeks into your dopamine detox, you feel worse. Numb. Flat. Drained. That's not failure — it's feedback. Your brain isn't broken; it's withdrawing. When you've spent years wired for constant novelty, cutting dopamine off doesn't regulate your system — it crashes it.Your neurons go silent, your motivation disappears, and your nervous system panics in the quiet. The truth? You don't need dopamine abstinence. You need dopamine regulation.Discipline without regulation is deprivation. But discipline with understanding becomes freedom.Neuroscientist Explains the Hidden Cost of Dopamine Abstinence

Andrew Humberman BioSnap a weekly updated Biography. In the past few days Andrew Huberman has been front and center in the neuroscience and wellness spheres with both academic rigor and broad public reach. The most notable headline is the November 6 release of his Huberman Lab Essentials episode called “Erasing Fears and Traumas Using Modern Neuroscience,” where Huberman dives into how deliberate daily practices—like five minutes of cyclic hyperventilation—can rewire the brain's fear responses. He breaks down the neural circuits involved, citing the amygdala and dopamine systems, and offers evidence-based strategies such as prolonged exposure therapy, cognitive behavioral approaches, and even discusses the cutting edge use of ketamine and MDMA for PTSD. The episode quickly climbed the podcast and YouTube ranks, reflecting significant engagement and concrete potential for impact in clinical and lifestyle settings. On the business front, Huberman continues to steer his expanding empire across media, science, and health optimization. His podcast remains the number one health and fitness show on Apple and Spotify, frequently featured in best-of charts. Recent social media posts on Instagram and X highlight his protocols for sleep, stress management, and metabolic health, drawing thousands of likes and repeated enthusiastic comments lauding his ability to make science accessible and actionable. Subscribers to his newsletter, now nearing one million, received exclusive insights this week including what's dubbed the “Daily Blueprint”—detailing Huberman's own routine with practical steps for productivity and wellbeing.Meanwhile, his new book “Protocols” remains highly anticipated in pre-order status, billed as a definitive guide for improving brain function and overall health through habits and biochemical interventions. In industry news, ABC World News Tonight covered Huberman's appearance to discuss “10 Habits You Must Improve Every Day to Rewire Your Brain,” bringing his science-backed advice to a mainstream television audience. This appearance has further elevated his pop culture status as a go-to authority on optimizing mental performance and resilience.Within academic circles, Huberman is referenced in discussions alongside Dr. David Sinclair on the topic of slowing aging, with his perspectives on neural plasticity and longevity gaining ground in medical and scientific media outlets. While his recent stance on drug repurposing for neurological and immune conditions was spotlighted via collaboration with Dr. David Fajgenbaum, this continues a trend of merging clinical discovery with public education and advocacy.Rumors have circulated about upcoming public appearances, potentially including a keynote at a major veterans' mental health gala next week, though this is not yet confirmed and should be treated as speculation. There has been no verified controversy or negative press in the last few days, and feedback remains overwhelmingly positive. In short, the biographical stakes for Huberman have only grown—his accessibility, practical expertise, and ever-expanding audience reinforce his status as a primary architect at the intersection of neuroscience and everyday life.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Through deeply personal stories, including her five-year struggle with infertility that ended the moment she opened her heart to adoption, Lisa shows how synchronicities aren't coincidence, they're guidance.
