Money talks! Money talks a lot and if we aren’t careful can become an Idol in our life. One of the biggest things money says is “Serve Me.” But the bible is clear that we can’t serve two masters, so how to we make sure that we are good stewards and God honoring with what He has blessed us with?
A major cause of many of today's problems is discontentment. There is much to be gained from being content with what we have.

We all want to feel fulfilled, satisfied and content but yet, even in our world of instant gratification with things right at our fingertips, many in our society still crave something more. Where can we go to be truly fulfilled? Maybe we’re drawing from the wrong source. This Sunday, we will investigate the scriptures together and discover what God has to say about finding true contentment.

Everything we have we have been given by God whether a little or a lot. We have been given it to use for God's glory and our good, and God alone gets to decide what that is.

Money itself isn't evil, it is simply a tool. But when we desire it, or anything else, above our love of God, we find ourselves on dangerous ground. We must be so satisfied with our all-sufficient Savior that we can truly say we are grateful for what God has blessed us with in all areas of our lives.

Godliness with contentment is true wealth or abundance. Godliness can be defined piety or reverence. Paul used godliness to describe Christ sufficiency. Everything we need is in Jesus. Nothing good comes from the pursuit of accumulation for accumulation's sake.

English psychiatrist and philosopher Eric Fromm said, “Greed is a bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction.” Most people feel a constant desire for more; most people never feel like they have enough. Despite this, almost nobody recognizes themselves themselves as greedy. These sermons on greed aim to help people understand what greed is, why it is spiritually significant, and how they can overcome it.

When we misplace our value in our money, we tend to hide Behind a Mask. Where is your treasure? What is your value for money? In this message there are practical answers to these questions.
Why is it so hard in the most rich country in the world to find contentment? Are you content?
Normal people constantly seem to be striving for bigger and better; more money to buy the bigger house, have the fancy toys, and go on the exotic vacation. In the pursuit of more, often time’s families are shattered, lives are ruined, and hearts are left broken. Weird people do not seek more of this world; weird people seek to find happiness in contentment.
