Jesus calls you through His Word. He will call you when it’s not convenient, when it seems unreasonable, when everything else in your life seems unlikely. How will you respond?

Building God's Kingdom, God's Way!
Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to love God unreservedly, and to love one’s neighbor as themselves. And when defining the term neighbor, Jesus shares a most amazing parable that causes His audience (and us) to re-examine the definition of service. On Sunday, we will learn how Jesus defines true service, and how we can work with God as He uses our acts of service to draw people closer to Him.
To make disciples who love God, love people, and serve the world.

You have a purpose! Discipleship is God's process of helping you discover it and walk in it. In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches on discipleship from Matthew 4:18-22. Unpacking the invitation of Jesus, Chris makes that case that discipleship is a relational, cumulative process through which God remakes us according to his purposes. It calls us to open up, show up and look up. This recording is from the Renaissance Church livestream that aired on Sunday, September 6th, 2020. www.ren-church.org #alloflifealltheearth

As Jesus begins his ministry, Matthew's gospel recalls that these fishermen were preparing to work by restoring the integrity of their equipment. Jesus finds them "mending nets". Likewise, Jesus calls us to follow him today as well. In the process, Jesus knows that we need to be mended too. Are these times of uncertainty being used by God to restore, prepare, or mend something in us? If so ... what is the calling that Jesus is preparing us for in this season of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic? As Sovereign Grace Baptist Church follows the guidelines of our governing authorities to limit in-person gatherings, this video recording is made available for not only our congregation, but for all who seek solace in God's Word.

The "Who's Your One" sermon series is a part of a nationwide emphasis on prayer, evangelism, & discipleship to our family, friends, coworkers, and other neighbors. The emphasis helps the church to reset our focus and renew our efforts to be one who shares the One to those ones that Christ has placed you in their midst. Following Jesus means following the calling of Jesus to be His disciples who make disciples.
In this sermon Pastor Mike Ward shares about what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus. He explains that discipleship is Jesus-centered and fishing-focused. And at the heart of it is a commitment to follow Jesus and gathering people for Jesus.
