G’day possums, your friendly team have done it again, 3 hours of amazing music to enlighten your day, including a host of first timers to Sequences. Jean Marc Lederman, Eiland, & Zer0, from Belgian Neu Musik, Anaamaly, Michael Kollwitz, Ken Verheecke, & Scott Reich, new age, contemporary instrumental, world, ambient and more sounds, from US based, RS Promotions. Bluetech the master of analogue and modular sound synthesis and DSP audio manipulation, with one track in cooperation with, In The Branches, exploring various styles in his music. Delving into the more progressive side with an oriental twist, Lastelle, aided by guest musicians. Claus Jahn melodic sounds, crossing the boundaries of sequential/ambient and the short lived band, Emeralds, with complex analog/digital hybrid sounds. Ambient Nation 5 is a unique look into what the Belgium electronic musicians of today have to offer, compiling 28 tracks by renowned artists & amateur knob twisters. Contains only exclusive material, either written for this compilation or specially edited, remixed or live. On a sad note, Syngate Records, releases ’Transmissions’ by Jorge Bialinska, a.k.a., Ebia, his last composition before he passed away on the 17th January 2018, the consequences of an autoimmune disease. Okay! I know a lot of you purists in our genre of EM don’t like vocals, but the ethereal whispers with other worldly soundscapes from Pauline Cassidy, draws the listeners into a fantastic world of fairy tale like dreams. Finally after 25 years the new Peru album, coincidentally called ‘The Return’. That brings us to our blast from the past, choosing one of their tracks ‘Valley’ included on the 1989 Klem Compilation CD. As I reported in our last edition, the heat here in Oz has certainly risen to the high 30’s, with a serious outbreak of 125 bush fires in Queensland now, thankfully not on the scale those poor souls in California had to endure. The scenes of utter devastation of whole communities was unbelievable. Quite the opposite from all this heat here, Sydney has had a months rain in 2 hours, extensive flooding, powerlines down & severe disruption to transport, this is not the norm this time of year for us, global warming? We’ve certainly had bumper package of new music in the last few weeks, already compiled for our next one in December. It always surprises us the depth of the music we get, so diverse and creative, I believe this is where we are different to other podcasts in this field of electronics, with such a large mix of sounds, giving the listeners to tackle some serious good vibes. A few to mention, Andy Pickford’s new opus Objects & Expressions 1, with Vol 2 just released, our first connection with TXT recordings, giving us two recent releases on their label, delving into the ambient & space soundscapes, the more upbeat magical sounds of Thy Veils, lush mesmerizing synth textures of Chronotope, as usual quality music from Syngate Records with Bovetoya & Wolfgang Nachahmer & Bluetech the master of analogue and modular sound synthesis and DSP audio manipulation on the Din label. I’m elated that we have a strong lineup of ladies too. Blast from the past features a favourite of ours, 'The Longing For', from the 1991, 'Open Borders' LP by Peter Seiler, still to this day making music. Welcome to Sequences, time seems to be certainly flying this year, already into March with this edition, again Mick has put an excellent range of music on air for you. Syngate Records have re-released two early albums by Jack Spruch known as E-Motion, who sadly departed this world to soon in 2013. It’s been awhile since we featured Steve Hillman and his collaboration with Greek composer Thaneco has produced an exceptional album, Empyreal, hear one of our favourite dark wave bands, Mercury’s Antennae, also feeling a bit more adventurous, we indulged in some tasty Kraut rock from Russian Maat Lander and the boys will be drooling over the looks of Alira Mun, presenting her vocals on Gemma, produced by Thy Veils, Daniel Dorobantu, probably will not go down to well with the stance listeners of electronic music, who remembers the disappointment from some fans towards the first two tracks of Tangerine Dream’s Cyclone album. We kick off this session with Andy Pickford’s latest release, Harmonics In Silence, one of two new releases, the other titled, Shadows Of The Gate, both an epic continuous suite of over 3hours, Shadows not to be missed, will be previewed in our next podcast Playlist No105 02’13 Andy Pickford ‘Harmonic In The Silence’ (album Harmonics In Silence) ***http://andypickford1.bandcamp.com/ 24.43 Thaneco & Steve Hillman ‘Twelve’ (album Empyreal) https://thaneco.bandcamp.com 41.21 Mercury’s Antennae ‘An Offering-Interlude’ (album A Waking Ghost Inside) www.projecktrecords.com 42.50 Mercury’s Antennae.’ A Waking Ghost Inside’ 48.57 Mercury’s Antennae ‘An Offering’ 52.56 Mercury’s Antennae ‘ Serenade For Falling Stars’ 54.25 Asuntar ‘Digital Forest’ https://asuntar.bandcamp.com 63.50 Neorus ‘Wonder’ (album Remedy) https://neorus.bandcamp.com 70.37 Neorus ‘Visuals’ 76.55 Maat Lander ‘The Multicellular Structures Into Space Drift’ (EP Oresund Space Collective) *** https://maatlander.bandcamp.com/ 87.41 Audraulic ‘D.D.E.’(album Luminal Fluids) https://section27.bandcamp.com/album/luminal-fluids 94.02 Audraulic ‘Ateraski’ 97.56 E=Motion ‘Golden Sand’ (album A Dream Within A Dream) www.syngate.biz 104.10 E=Motion ‘New sound Of ESP’ (album Infinite Motion) 111.42 TM Solver ‘Heart Of Synth’ (album Konglomerat) www.syngate.biz 118.31TM Solver ‘Council Of The Elders’ 122.40 Max Corbacho ‘Future Terrain’ (album Future Terrain Remastered) ***www.maxcorbacho.com 130.18 Wolfgang Gsell feat: Miriam Christina ‘Goodbye’ (album Back From Eternity) https://wolfganggsell.bandcamp.com 142.58 Wolfgang Gsell feat: Jack Hertz ‘Back From Eternity’ 150.30 Alira Mun ‘Gemma’ https://www.facebook.com/AliraMun/ 154.36 The Sailing Planet ‘Talisman’ (album Revival) www.thesailingplanet.bandcamp.com/ 161.24 The Sailing Planet ‘Fountain’ 165.44 E=Motion ‘Global Beat’ www.syngate.biz 172.05 E=Motion ‘Hesitation’ 177.00 Richard Vimal ‘Migrations’ (album Migrations)
Chances are that you do not recall dreams (REM-sleep) that often. Perhaps you even wonder how to dream. Well actually, we dream each and every night of our life independently of whether we recall dreams the following morning. Dreams are full sensory experiences in which we experience a dream reality so immersive that in most cases it is indistinguishable from waking reality. In dreams we embody all of our dream senses in the same way as we do in waking life: we can see, feel, hear, taste and even smell in dreams. Now imagine the possibility to attain dream awareness while you are still in the dream. Imagine how this awareness would allow you to direct the dream to your every desire. Imagine the boundless opportunities to acquire awesome extra-ordinary experiences. Say hello to lucid dreaming. Say hello to the extraordinary and most wanted Spacemusic Lucid Dreams series... March 24th 2013 - the coldest day of this century, at least in Holland. The wind is cutting faces today so we stay inside, listen to music, sleep some extra, and record this legendary show series, Lucid Dreams. This volume 5 will take you away from your daily life, further from the ground than ever before. It’s time to dream. The opening is done by Ben Cox, from his album On Water it sets the tone to kind of ‘Jazzy’ atmospheres which makes it possible to go anywhere... The Montreal duo Elsiane performs a track that you’ll only hear on a show like this... Vertigone is not your average song, but most excellent as the glue between Ben Cox and Steve Roach, the Back to Life album shows another super ambient side of Steve; we go deeper now, total relaxation, switch of the ‘Think’ mode. We’ve arrived now @ the Luna project of Syngate Records, Pete Farn dreams along in the Schwebewald. Completely unique sound and style, Pete has already delivered 11 albums via Syngate to we suggest to check them out as well. Tired of a busy week, the extra hours of sleep are well deserved. An Urban Meditation plan by Pete Namlook is the icing on this cake... Pete, may he rest in peace, touches the soul with the repetitive ingredient this time, after listening to the Air and Silence series you might be surprised that Namlook created this style of music for us. Just follow your dream now... Very subtle... the radio starts making sounds... a living radio built of human components; meet Radio Free Clear Light. Poetry, graphic art, video editing, music or a combination of it all. RFCL has a focus on Form rather than content. Three tracks in a row and you still have the feeling that you didn’t move right? You didn’t. We’re traveling without moving. Michael Frenkel’s project Aspectee shines a light on the unknown. Bail a Cerder creates the floating phase, intense tranparent and organic at the same time, hypnotizing experiences at the 46 minutes mark of this episode. The atmospheric drone soundscapes that arise now, are made by Shane Morris and Mystified, two very talented composers of ambient-atmospherics. This part comes from the Epoch album, the first installment of a trilogy about prehistoric time and evolution. Epoch uses no electronic sources or synths - only acoustic sounds. The sonic portal to our last artist on this trip. CSillagköd is a project by Oliver Dombi, a producer from Transylvania. Born on Christmas evening in 1981.
