Toronto Real Estate: Sales Up, Prices Down—Is the GTA Recovering or in a Seller Standoff?The script breaks down a recent Toronto/GTA real estate report showing a contradictory market: May sales rose 6.3% year over year (about 66,000) while prices fell (average down 4.6% to about $1.07M; benchmark down 6.7%), and new listings dropped nearly 19% (about 22,000 to 18,000).
