Kansas enters the Big 12 men's tournament as the top seed as the first-place finisher of the regular season, but the Jayhawks will have a difficult path if they're to repeat as champion. It's possible for KU and many other teams in the field to meet only opponents that NCAA Tournament bound this week at T-Mobile Center. That's how good the Big 12 was this year. Kansas enters the event coming off a loss at Texas, the tournament's No. 2 seed. The Jayhawks will open the tournament on Thursday at 2 p.m., against the winner of the West Virginia-Texas Tech game on Wednesday. Locked On Longhorns - Daily Podcast On Texas Longhorns Football & Basketball
Steve Sarkisian and the offensive staff have made the decision to move Savion Red from the Wide Receiver position to Runningback in hopes of getting him more on field opportunities in 2023. Red was a do it all player in high school, that ran for almost 1,400 yards and 20 touchdowns his senior season. Can he follow the Roschon Johnson model to success, changing positions which ultimately will end up in him making millions at the NFL level? How does this affect the touches in a talented room that consists of Cedric Baxter, Jonathon Brooks, Keilan Robinson, Jaydon Blue & Tre Wisner? In addition to Roschon Johnson, Bijan Robinson, Demarvion Overshown, Moro Ojomo and Keondre Coburn have been invited to the NFL Draft Combine. Where will each of these forever Longhorns be drafted? Coming off a tough loss to the defending National Champion Kansas Jayhawks, Rodney Terry and the Texas Men's Basketball Team will face off against West Virginia & Texas Tech in a span of 72 hours. I believe both of those games are must wins. Kevin Durant, my all time favorite Longhorn, has been traded to the Phoenix Suns and on paper they look like a Championship Contender with a starting lineup that consists of Durant, Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul and Devin Booker. What does this trade mean for the best player on the planet?
