In this opening message of our Worship Series, Mark lays the foundation by inviting us to see worship not as a moment, but a way of life. He reminds us that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit — built to host the presence of God, not just attend services. Worship flows from identity: we are set apart to carry His name and presence. From there, we explore the idea that we are “priests first, shepherds second,” called to minister to the Lord before we minister for Him. When we love God first, everything else flows rightly. Finally, we're challenged to value purity over perfection — God doesn't want polish; He wants presence. Real worship means bringing our whole, imperfect selves before Him in love. The message is a call to reset our hearts and lives to truly become people who welcome and honour God's presence every day.
Title: Biblical Principles for Worship Today Episode Summary: In this episode, we delve into the essential principles of true worship according to Yehovah. We explore the transition from the Original Covenant to the Renewed Covenant and how worship has evolved from physical to spiritual. We discuss the teachings of Yeshua and the importance of renewing our minds, guarding our souls, and obeying Yehovah's instructions. Key Points: Renewing Our Minds: Focus on Yehovah's kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Guarding Our Souls: Be mindful of what we take into ourselves, including food, entertainment, relationships, and reading material. Listening to Yehovah: Be quick to hear His voice and slow to respond or speak. Maintaining Joy: Don't let anyone steal your joy . Continuous Prayer: Pray without ceasing and do not grow weary of doing good. Obedience: Incorporate Yehovah's and Yeshua's instructions into our daily walk. Conclusion: True worship involves a holy and righteous lifestyle that aligns with Yehovah's teachings. Yeshua's teachings emphasize the importance of spirit and truth worship, transitioning from physical practices to spiritual devotion. Call to Action: Encouragement to keep on in the faith walk, focusing on the high calling in Messiah and maintaining a Godly attitude. Worship the Father in Spirit and Truth. Closing Remarks: May you have a blessed Shabbat and an overcoming rest of your week in Yeshua's matchless Name. Until next time, Shalom, shalom.

Psalms were an integral part of OT worship, and some psalms end with doxologies (a praise formula) or prayers that might have served a concluding role in worship. For example, Psalm 106 ends with: "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, 'Amen!' Praise the Lord." A new MP3 sermon from Grace Bible Church is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Physical Expression of Worship: Voice, Hands & Feet Subtitle: Worship Series Speaker: Scott Harris Broadcaster: Grace Bible Church Event: Sunday Service Date: 3/17/2024 Length: 53 min.
In this message of "The Four Faces of Worship" series, we explore the Ox Face of the cherubim, symbolizing humble service and great sacrifice. We are reminded of Jesus' ultimate sacrifice, the suffering servant who gave everything for our salvation. Philippians 2:5-9 encourages us to emulate Christ's humility and obedience, serving others as He served us. The sermon emphasizes the importance of working out our salvation in fear and trembling, not by trying to earn it, but by living out the faith and grace God has worked into our hearts by serving others. We are called to be a royal priesthood, actively involved in ministry, and to give generously as part of our worship. The message concludes with a call to respond to Jesus' sacrifice with quiet strength, faithful obedience, and humble faith, continuing the worship beyond the church service into our daily lives. Our new Deconstructing Religion worship series looks at what is at the root of who we are and what we believe. Over the years we were taught to believe certain things. In today's society, people are starting to turn away from what they have always been taught and told about religion. As a Christian community we are going to look at some of the things we have been taught and examine difficult passages in Holy Scripture and see what they really mean and really say to us.
