In the final teaching of After God's Own Heart, Jason Coker returns to the complicated story of King David, Bathsheba, Solomon, and the struggle for power in 1 Kings 1–2. And to make it worse, Byron Buxton has aggravated his hip injury. David analyzes that play and worries that Luke Keaschall may not be up to the task of playing center field. Dan is curious if Derek Shelton has a little Herb Brooks in him, and David delves again into the murky waters of Walker Jenkins' call-up status. There is still hope, they agree, but that hope is slim, and much rides on the next stretch of series against AL Central teams.
