Reacties: jazztrain@studio040.nl

God had this conversation in mind. We set up to talk business, and landed on family lessons. Randy's transparency is inspiring. From tough conversations with our kids, navigating a health scare with your spouse, to fighting against a generational pattern. This conversation left me wanting to make some changes, and it is my hope you are just as inspired. In this episode, you'll discover… What is a key trait to winning at work, and at home? (1:18) What can you do better to talk to your kids? (7:30) Breaking generational patterns. (12:16) Why he decided to call the police regarding his 15-year-old son. (32:11) Randy's Bio: Randy Blount has worked in the construction industry since 2003. Randy began their career at Copperstate Concrete as a Concrete Labor. In the same year, they joined Blount Contracting Inc. A Division of WW Clyde, where they have held various roles, including Vice President, President, Vice President (with a role description that included management of pre-construction services, overseeing project management teams, and developing business plans and sales strategies), Estimator, and Equipment Operator. In 2021, they joined BuildWitt as Chief Financial Officer and Advisor. This week, let's talk about two people who played very important roles in the life and court of Henry VIII: Bessie Blount, who gave Henry his first surviving son, and that son, Henry Fitzroy. Neither would live beyond the reign of Henry, so their impact was limited, but they still are incredibly important characters that deserve an episode. Thanks as always for your support, friend. March 26, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 111 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing QB Russell Wilson signing with the New York Giants on Tuesday. We discuss Wilson's deal and thus his exit from the Pittsburgh Steelers after just one season. Alex and I discuss the one-year that Wilson played in Pittsburgh and what likely resulted in him not re-signing with the team this offseason. We also roll back to comments made in late January by Steelers president Artt Rooney II concerning his hope being that the team would re-sign one of Wilson or QB Justin Fields this offseason. With Wilson off to the Giants, Alex and I discuss the Steelers' current compensatory draft pick situation for 2026. We talk about the possibility of the team having a total of four third-round draft picks in 2026 should Wilson and Fields both have solid 2025 seasons for their new teams. We also discuss the possibility of the Steelers ultimately being able to trade up in the 2026 NFL Draft to select a first-round quarterback. With Wilson now out of the picture, Alex and I discuss what that means for QB Aaron Rodgers possibly finally landing with the Steelers in the very near future. Will we get a decision within the next two weeks when it comes to Rodgers' future? We discuss that topic as we all wait to see if he'll be the team's next starting quarterback. We move on to discuss the Steelers claiming OL Lecitus Smith off waivers from the New England Patriots a few days ago. We also discuss the news that free agent WR Terrace Marshall recently came in for a visit. As expected, the Steelers have a large contingent at the Ohio State pro day on Wednesday, so we discuss that news and the Wednesday report that HC Mike Tomlin and GM Omar Khan met with three notable players from that school on Tuesday night. Hall of Fame CB Mel Blount was on the latest episode of the Ben Roethlisberger podcast, so Alex and I discuss a few blunt things that he had to say about the Steelers organization. This 81-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap as well. On August 4, 1991, at a nightclub in New York NY, some teenagers began taunting each other and words escalated to punches. When the teenagers came out of the club prepared for a fight, a man shot and killed16-year-old Raymond Blount. Police showed mug shots of several men to a group of Blount’s friends who initially identified a former classmate nicknamed “Wool Lou” as the shooter. After some deliberation, some of the witnesses identified 21-year-old Fernando Bermudez as the shooter. One of the witnesses later made a deal with the prosecution to identify Fernando Bermudez as the gunman in return for not being charged in the case. Fernando, who passed a polygraph examination and presented alibi witnesses in his defense, was charged and convicted with second-degree murder. He was sentenced to 23 years to life in prison.
