In this episode, I am my recorded meditation when I was the Youth Speaker for Real Quick Talk - a Youth-lead online group that does daily devotional sessions with our church youth. Here, I talk about "Filter" - what it is, why people (especially youth) use it, and the danger of excessively using filters. I've also talked about how God sees us with no filter. Are Pastors supposed to be working secular jobs or not? In this episode of Above Rubies Podcast, I invited two fellow working Pastors with me to discuss part-time and full-time ministry. I'm glad to be able to sit with Ptr. Kenneth Paul Rosero and Ptr. Jonathan Inting to talk about our lives as "part-time" workers, this never-ending discussion, and what we as Christians should bear in mind when it comes to our ministers working full time or part-time in the ministry. Ptr. Ken and Ptr. Jonathan are my fellow alumni in IGBI-Bataan and also my fellow officers in IGBI Bataan Alumni Organization. -----------------Follow IGBI-Bataan via the following: YouTube: https://bit.ly/IGBI-BataanYTFacebook: https://bit.ly/IGBI_BataanFB

If there's one school that's really close to heart, it's the International Grace Bible Institute. It's a school that trains men and women for excellence in handling the word of truth, rightly divided. So that men may see what is the dispensation of the mystery, established for the glory of God. Many people think enrolling in a bible school and surrendering one's life to God is a waste of time and energy. But to us, it is a dedication and a commitment, made to God, that may not provide Earthly but Heavenly reward. In today's episode, we'll give you a glimpse of what is to be a bible student, the challenges and joys along the way.
Nate just turned 7 so a few weeks ago, we went and recorded an episode where I ask him random questions to see what his thoughts are. It is a candid conversation and I wanted to record it for memory keeping's sake. Nate is a very talkative boy who always speaks his mind. To our future Nate, if you are listening to this, I hope this serves as digital memorabilia for you and I hope we're still talking random things even though you're already older. :) We love you and we hope you use your voice to inspire others especially the members of the body of Christ. Those who personally know me know that I am I Pastor and a Biblewoman's daughter. And I think this is the perfect opportunity for you to see the thing no one almost even talks about: The life of a pastor's kid. Being a pastor's kid isn't a guarantee that you are saved or that your life is going to get perfect. We, like ordinary people, are also subject to judgments, ridicule, and mistakes. The internet is great when used wisely, many online freelancers like me are grateful for the opportunities that the internet provides. Online freelancing can be long-term, short-term, project-based, fixed-rate, or hourly. I'm one to experience all these setups in different clients. A long-term freelancing gig provides assurance that you will always have a paycheck every month. The question is, is there actually a downside to being a long-time online virtual assistant to just a single client? In this episode, I am joined by Melo Celestrial, a work-at-home-mom since 2011 who currently works as a Virtual Assistant/Customer Service Rep/Supervisor with a client based in Canada. Ever since we're kids, we're told that the youth is the hope of the nation but sometimes, we (intentionally or unintentionally) undermine the capabilities of our young people. In this episode, I am joined by the virtual ate herself - Virtual Ate Le-an Lai Lacaba. We talk about how she started working from home at a very young age, her experiences, challenges, and inspiration working from home, and how she used them now to encourage and teach more people about online jobs. Happy International Women's Day! I can't let the week pass without talking about this very important topic that empowers many women like me. It's something we women are proud of. Centuries ago, we were not regarded as such. And although we still have a long way to go, we have gone a long way also.
In this episode, we are joined by our Things to Come Mission, Inc. missionaries to Cambodia, Ptr. James and Mrs. Agape Bermejo to talk about their relationship and glorifying God in our marriage. They also give us a glimpse of their life as TCM missionaries.

In today's episode, let's talk about the life of a seafarer couple with my friends who I know personally. What are the misconceptions of marrying a seafarer, the challenges of long-distance relationship and parenting, and how, by God's grace, a couple can get through the challenges. By God's grace, they just celebrated their 15 years of marriage. It's a privilege for me to be able to talk to them about their hardships, challenges, and what led them to decide to commit to the ministry at International Grace Bible Institute as school in-charge. Today, I would like to talk about something that really hits home: unsolicited pregnancy comments. Earlier this week, I was triggered to post something about this to remind my Facebook friends to be careful when it comes to giving unsolicited pregnancy comments. I feel like it was not enough and that it was not just coming from me but from other people who are hurt by these comments. This is not overreacting, there are so many reasons why I said this. This is not just me speaking for myself, this is for other couples like me who share the same experience. This week's episode, I am with my son, Nate just having a good talk about COVID19, his dream to be a chemist, to go to Japan, his favorite game, and a whole lot more. Nate is 6 years old and is in first grade this school year. We are not perfect parents, there are so many things we need to improve on in this parenting journey but our love for our children never changes. As much as I can, I upload videos, photos, and recordings like this to document Nate's childhood in hopes that one day when he's all grown up, he'll be able to look back and on his moments with us. Nate has a YouTube channel, it's Youtube.com/c/natethenatter
This week's episode we have Mommy Belle Prado, a tech-savvy geek who transitioned into a homeschooling work-at-home-mom after 17 years of working in the corporate world as a Systems Specialist. She says this “leap of faith” has always been one of the best decisions she's ever made as she gets to spend more quality time with the family and is able to witness firsthand how her kids are growing up to be such kind, compassionate, passion-driven (and fun to be with!) individuals. In her spare time, she also pours out her heart and soul through her personal blog, Enlightened Filipina Mom – her way of glorifying the one true source of all these blessings.Connect with Mommy Belle via the following platforms:Website: enlightenedfilipinamom.comPodcast: Freelancing with FaithYouTube: Freelancing with FaithFacebook: Social Belle PH
