    Dr Katie Schofield is a Registered Nutritionist based in New Zealand with a PhD in Low Energy Availability (LEA) and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S).  Katie came to understand more about LEA after experiencing it as an elite track cyclist, however it was 2 years before what she was experiencing was given a name.     Shien is a Melbourne based open water marathon swimmer, who originally fell in love with the open water after clearing the bush in NZ. Upon moving to Australia, the open water became a solace for healing after a challenging period in her life.
