Ladies and gentlemen, we are back! After several years, Behind the Mynd is excited to dust it off and get back into the groove. The reignition would not be complete without the great Thunderegg. The show has taken a shorter format, and is a blooming concept. New episodes dropping every Wednesday.

Today,we welcome Tommy P of Harlow’s Monkeys back on the broadcast! He’s just spent days upon days traveling by bicycle, touring around and sharing his new HM album. We’ll dive into the decision making process, the fears and funs of bike touring, and what was learned by this experience. I personally could not imagine doing what he’s done, so we’re stoked to learn a thing or two. This broadcast also marks Behind the Mynd's first hiatus. Taking a break to pursue a goal. Today we welcome Noah Laniakea to the broadcast!! In the thick of their April tour from San Francisco to L.A., Noah is stopping by to talk art, music, being a genius on the bass, and what the future holds for us. This will be their debut on BtM, and we are stoked to dive in.

This week, we welcome the great King Willow to the broadcast! These sisters create wonderful music; mixing harmonies, beautiful lyrics, and a truly catchy sounds. You may recognize them from the Harlow’s Monkeys broadcast, but now it’s time to dive into their story and have them share some of their own tunes. We’ll learn about renaming the band, what sister life was like whence younger, and if they’ve ever fought over song titles. Or if they ever fought in general. How hard is it to have a band with a relative anyway? Let’s find out. Tune in!

This week,we welcome Thunderegg back for the 2nd installment of Locyl Vocalz! We will be diving into the Bay Area talent, sharing their music and stories of old. We’ll open the phone lines at 4:30. Today, BTM invites you to meet Mardi Morillo!! Mardi is a brilliant singer/songwriter based in the Bay area and we are super excited to have him join us. Let’s dive into his story, how he lost partial vision and utilized music to find a beautiful purpose to life, and then listen to some of his creations. This will be his debut on the broadcast, so let’s give him our utmost attention and adoration. We'll share laughs, almost shed tears, and John Elliott weighs in from the Milwaukee airport. Today we welcome Madeleine Grace to the broadcast! Currently on tour and in the recording booth, Madeleine is taking a little time to share with us her journey thus far. Currently residing in New York, we’ll dive into the East Coast music life and get a glimpse of life on the road. This will be her debut Behind the Mynd experience and we are honored to have her join us. So you too should join us!

This week, we witness the return of Thunderegg to the show!! The band is back in the recording studio, working the next installment of the egg (the 24th album we believe!). Will is such a wonderful human, we’ll be sure to dive into something great. We’re hitting the SFMOMA before the broadcast today, so we’ll give you a museum update. We'll also be playing some of the best local tracks. It spawns what looks like to be a monthly local music mash-up. So, there's that. Love you.

Today, we welcome Bob Hillman to the broadcast! This is his first time on Behind the Mynd, and we are excited to dive into the man’s life. After taking a little break from the music scene, Bob is back and sharing his original songwriting style of “short songs, long words”. Let’s learn about the East Coast music scene, what it’s like touring the US and Europe, and the excitement of his latest album Lost Soul.

Today we welcome the band Westerly to the broadcast! This East Bay conglomerate have a new album coming out, and we are stoked to have them in-studio. They got a fantastic summer line-up of shows, and their music is straight-up wonderful. Let’s dive into their story and hear some moving music.

Coming straight off of his latest cycle tour, wherein he travels around via bicycle sharing his music, he’s taking a seat with host David to dive into the details of how his life has been flowing since we last met. Trump’s stepping into his spot as president, the world feels a little tense these days, but there is still humor and that warm loving feeling if we look for it. We’ll get into it. The busy times are upon us, and new opportunities are on the horizon for David. Choices have to be made. This week we welcome world traveling festival expert Eamon Armstrong to the broadcast! This man is no stranger to the show, and we are excited to catch up on his journeys this year. From failed Iboga ceremonies in Cape Town, to an anal dearmoring in Denmark, to acid and Androids in Portugal, Eamon lives a very specific life and we are honored that he will be sharing these experiences with us. We’ll discuss loss, challenging oneself, and the positive future of the future. Eamon hops on Facebook Live for the shows first time and we take questions and calls from all over the U.S. A fun one. This week we welcome the lovable Papa Bear to the broadcast! This man has such a bright personality, and is currently traveling around spreading his message through his beautiful music. We are excited to dive into his story. If you are familiar with the Convent in the lower Haight area, you’ve probably caught a performance or two. He’s graced the stage at the Great American Music Hall as well as performing at Symbiosis and Burning Man. He’s everywhere. Tim can’t make it to the show today, but guest co-host Kim Bruder makes it in. We had to head out a little early today so it's a shorter broadcast. David is gearing up for his road trip/family visit next week, and Tim has some strikingly auspicious news in his life to share. This week we welcome Julian Müller to the broadcast! After living his days in Germany, England, and Ireland Julian has recently received his permanent resident card and can now share his music with us! We’ve had the pleasure of seeing him create harmonies on many notable San Francisco stages, from the Fillmore to the Great American Music Hall, and his vocal quality is unmatched. It’s a real honor to welcome him today and to allow him to share some of his creativity with us. We dive into a lot of bread talk, and teach J exactly what porchetta di testa is. Traveling from the jungles of Costa Rica to the farmhouses of Italy, to the FCCFree studios in San Francisco, Jun shares with us the life of a transient yoga instructor. Towing along with her will be her man-mate Ted, and we'll dive into his budding yoga-focused adventures. Also surfing. A lot of wetsuit size talk in this one. David doesn't know a thing about it. Our musical guests were supposed to be The Dead Woods, who are performing at Neck of the Woods on the 29th, but due to scheduling miscommunication they cannot join us today. Driving to Portland and doing a broadcast in San Francisco at the same time is difficult. As always, Tim joins us in his co-hosting seat. It’s our inaugural episode! Behind the Mynd is proud to join the FCCFree team and we kick off with two wonderful guests. First up we welcome Ashleigh Thomas, the artist/creative responsible for Behind the Mynd’s logo/image! We dive into what it’s like to be an illustrator in the Bay area, we share tales of ghosts and Roman trodden roads, and how it feels to not have dreadlocks anymore. Our musical guest is long term friend Scarth Locke, who shares his latest musical project as well as his impeccable wit. Enjoy.

For our last show at Mutiny Radio, we welcome two powerhouse characters Peter Feliciano and Aaron Ford. We dive deeep into the debate over artist and singer, with a sprinkling of astrology talk that only Aaron Ford can conjure up.
