The Biblical Truths from West Palm Beach church of Christ podcast has been an incredible resource for me in my spiritual journey. I have been reading or listening to Brent's explanation of various books and teachings of God's word for several years now, and I can confidently say that my faith has grown as a result. I am truly grateful for the way he shares his teachings with me and others, as it has truly been a blessing in my life.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Brent's ability to clearly articulate complex theological concepts in a way that is easily understandable. His explanations are thorough yet concise, making it easy to follow along and grasp the deep truths of the Bible. He provides insightful commentary and practical applications that have helped me apply biblical principles to my daily life. Additionally, Brent's humility shines through in his teachings, making him relatable and approachable as a preacher. He genuinely cares about his listeners and desires to help them grow in their faith.
However, it's important to note that one possible downside of this podcast is its focus on a specific denomination - the church of Christ. While the teachings are undoubtedly rooted in biblical truths, some listeners may feel excluded if they do not identify with this particular denomination. It would be beneficial if there was more inclusivity in terms of addressing a wider range of Christian beliefs and interpretations.
In conclusion, The Biblical Truths from West Palm Beach church of Christ podcast is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of God's word. Brent's teachings have greatly encouraged me and helped me study better while providing insights into the Gospel. Despite its denominational focus, I highly recommend this podcast to anyone seeking sermons that will enrich their relationship with God.

A sermon from Brent Kercheville. We have been looking at how Jesus goes about transforming Simon into Peter through the different teachings and interactions Jesus has with his apostle. A sermon from Brent Kercheville. We are turning our attention to Romans 5 and our theme for this chapter is Much More. The reason for this theme is that this idea of “much more” is repeated throughout this chapter. What do you do when the battle is too big? It is easy to look at our life circumstances and our difficulties and think that the battle is too big for us. Depression and discouragement are not reserved for those who do not have a relationship with God. The thirteenth chapter of 1 Corinthians is a well-known chapter about love. It is a scripture that is often read from at weddings. It is a chapter that is frequently lifted of its context and treated as if this is a stand alone topic from the apostle Paul. But 1 Corinthians 13 stands in a […] The post The We In Love (1 Corinthians 13) appeared first on Biblical Truths from West Palm Beach church of Christ.

We ended our lesson last time noticing that the apostle Paul is teaching that we must have the faith of Abraham to be able to receive the blessing of the gospel. Please open your copies of God's word to Jeremiah 36. Before we look at this chapter, we need to consider the background of the prophecy we are about to read. Early in the scriptures, the Lord came to Abraham and made a promise. In Genesis 12:3 God promised to Abraham, “In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” God confirmed this promise again in Genesis 22:18, “In your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed […] The post The Blessing of the Gospel (Romans 4:1-12) appeared first on Biblical Truths from West Palm Beach church of Christ.

In our lesson this evening we are going to look at the way God cares for his people and the way God teaches his people. What happens when God blesses his people? Our response to his security and blessings is a critical component of walking by faith. Chapter 11 of 2 Chronicles begins by looking […] The post Becoming Insecure (2 Chronicles 11-12) appeared first on Biblical Truths from West Palm Beach church of Christ.

One of the important characteristics needed to belong to the kingdom of God is humility. Jesus said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3). The apostle Paul and the apostle Peter both taught that we are clothe ourselves with humility (Colossians 3:12; 1 Peter 5:5). Paul also […] The post The Humility of the Gospel (Romans 3:27-31) appeared first on Biblical Truths from West Palm Beach church of Christ.

When Jesus delivered his sermon while on the mountain, one of the things he proclaimed was that those who are blessed are those who are peacemakers (cf. Matthew 5:9). Part of the fruit of the Spirit is peace (cf. Galatians 5:22). As God tries to teach us about himself and what he expects from his people, sometimes he will use two events and set them next to each other so that we can compare and contrast the situations. In our last lesson we looked at healing anger. We noted that quick anger is foolish, causes problems, shows a lack of restraint, and is contagious. The key of the lesson was to see that our anger is not accomplishing what we think it will accomplish. Rather, than helping us, our anger is destructive to […] The post Storm Proof: The Power of Patience appeared first on Biblical Truths from West Palm Beach church of Christ.

So if you have grown up on the pews, we are coming to an account that you might have learned about in your children's Bible classes. How do you deal with guilt? It is an interesting question to think about, especially in the context of our culture today. We are looking at some pictures of our atonement in our annual series which intentionally coincides with our study of Romans. In our last lesson we noticed the beauty of Jesus as our redemption. We are starting this series that I am calling Becoming Peter. Now the point of this series is not that you would become like Peter, though that is a worthy goal. Up to this point we have been reading about various prophecies of hope in what is often called “the book of consolation” in Jeremiah 30-33. This paragraph begins with a jarring truth declaration: God will repay each person according to their works (Romans 2:6). This is a repeated declaration that is made throughout the scriptures. We are looking at Romans 1 in which the apostle Paul is teaching what happens to us as humans and as a culture when we fail to honor God and give him thanks. In Romans 1:18-20 the apostle Paul has made a very important point regarding the gospel. No one has an excuse before God.
