In this episode I mixed it up a bit and am sitting down with a couple of my clients to talk all about my Total Transformation Program and what they had to say about it. Last spring I introduced my Total Transformation Program to the world. I had taken everything I had learned along my weight loss journey along with what had worked for my nutrition coaching clients and put it together into a step-by-step program that has totally exceeded anything I ever thought possible. Since then, over 160 people have used it to help them with their health and fitness goals, and I couldn’t be more proud. But, a lot of people still don’t know what it is all about so I asked some of my clients to come on and tell you what their experience was. Megan Sinden and Penni Clark sat down with me to discuss what it’s like to be on the opposite end of my guidance and where their health and weight loss journey has taken them with it. They asked me everything from nutrition questions, what life is like as an entrepreneur, what advice I would give past-Ashlyn, how to prepare for a CrossFit competition and more! This episode of The Butterfly Effect Podcast is isn’t really brought to you by anyone other than myself! Guest host, Brandon Blondeau, and I dig into the world of perception and my favorite saying from Cabo, “No Bad Days”. The vibe that we put out to the world will also be the one that we attract. Negativity draws negativity and choosing to try and take on a situation with a different frame of mind will change your outlook on other things. Dwelling on small things creates more things to dwell on. Deciding whether you are having a “good day” or a “bad day” sets the tone for how the rest of the events will unfold. The power of your state of mind is so much greater than what people even realize. As promised in the show here is the blog post I was referring to https://thesweateffect.com/2018/03/no-bad-days/ This episode of The Butterfly Effect Podcast is sponsored by Sudio Earphones. I received my Niva earbuds last week and they are gorgeous. It had been on my to-do list for a while to get a new pair but they can be expensive if you want good quality. When I came across Sudio, I knew that was the solution. They have revolutionized the way people see headphones, they’re not just a tech device but also an accessory. Currently, the headphone market can offer you one of two things: style or tech. Fashionable headphones tend to lack the proper sound quality, and high-tech variations are bulky and not design oriented. They bridged that gap. While emphasizing their modern design, they also provide a product that matches the quality of even the highest rated headphones on the market for a fraction of the cost. Sudio also provides free worldwide shipping and are having a special promotion for Valentine's Day from now until February 14th that includes 10% off each purchase of 2 products. In this episode I dive into the world of core values. They are defined as being the values we hold which form the foundation on which we perform work and conduct ourselves. Core values are the basic elements of how we go about our life, which is essentially our personal mission statement. They are the practices we use (or should be using) every day in everything we do. They help decipher decision making along the way and I find that reflecting on my personal core values helps me set and reach my goals. It’s easy to state what your core values are and never think back to them during the small decisions. But if there’s anything that I’ve learned, it’s that executing the small decisions in the same way you would with big ones, is what really solidifies changes and habits and essentially helps us reach the BIG goals we have.
