Christmas 1929 in the small north Arkansas town of Germanton would be a great day for many. For six members of the Lawson family, it would end in a flurry gunfire and bloodshed at the hand of family patriarch Charlie Lawson before he took his own life. M. Swift goes into the murder and some of the theories bounced around in part one of a two-part winter holiday edition of That Murder & Mystery Show.On Twitter: M. Swift or Danger Zone 92 On Twitch: M. During the Holiday season of 1933 and into early 1934 a terror gripped the county of Botetourt in Virginia. While no one died, there would be numerous accounts of an individual creeping around locals' residences in the still night and spraying an unknown gas through an open or compromised window. Similar attacks would happen in an entirely different region during the summer of 1944 as the fiend made their presence known in Mattoon, Illinois. Could these two Anesthetic Prowlers--a decade apart--be the same person? M. Swift looks at a few theories and discusses it as he tells the tale of the Mad Gasser.References-Mysterious Universe-Wikipedia-Prarie Ghosts On Twitter: M. Swift or Danger Zone 92 On Twitch: M. This episode of That Murder & Mystery Show is vault episode from the #TM2S feed. From the 2016 show Southern Mystery Sundays , it's the Death of Tommy Burkett from 1991. It's a case I always wanted to do and researched a long time ago. The production is still in its 2016 roughness (apologies!) but the opening and show ads have been removed and replaced. As always, share your theories on what happened in this case.ReferencesUnsolved Mysteries WikiBeyond WeirdOn Twitter: M. Swift or Danger Zone 92 On Twitch: M.
