Regular live mixes of House, Tech House and anything with a dance-floor groove by DJ Digital Manipulation.
So, this is a bit of a special one. Those of you who have heard a good number of my mixes will know that I love to slip in a bit of Speed Garage. I fell in love with it back in '97 and never really fell out of love with it; everything sounds better with a Speedy G bassline underneath, right?!I decided it was time that I had a Speed Garage T-shirt in my life and that is how I met the lovely woman in the artwork here; this is Kate from Kates Customs ( https://katescustoms.co.uk )and that T-shirt she's wearing is one of her own embroidered designs and so I had to buy one! It was getting that Tee that inspired me to make this mix: 90 minutes of full-on Speed Garage, old and new. Get stuck in!If you also love the T-shirt, get yourself over to Kate's store and--as the name suggests--she does custom designs too! I got a custom design done and I love it so what are you waiting for?!
Back with a bosh! Love bass? Love piano and vocals? This could be the mix for you! It starts a bit hard with plenty of donk and wub but gets proper uplifting! Buckle up and get stuck in!
New year, new bangers. Let's go!
For reasons I don't quite understand, there seem to be a tonne of face-melting Rave and Old Skool inspired tracks around at the moment. So, it seemed rude not to make an absolute monster of a mixtape fusing all this high octane craziness together. Strap in and enjoy!
50 minutes of driving dance music that sweeps from oldskool Electro, to Tech House, through a bit of fresh Rave House and on via some Bass to some uplifting 90s inspired Piano House. A real journey for those who love to dance!
A naughty little mix with more than a few swears in it and some filthy, filthy bass - enjoy! If you're over 18...
This month's mix is, as usual, a varied mix of sub-genres including Deep, Tech, Electro and Bass but woven together to keep the energy up and keep the dance floor popping!
There are some great Tech House tracks around at the moment so I started there for this mix but there are also some good retro revivals of old bass-driven tracks from back in the day so it gets a bit dirty later on and--just as a special treat--I throw in a couple of quality bassline warpers. As always, the mix is full-on start to finish. Enjoy!
So, on 22nd July I played a club gig at The Underground, an awesome club in Stoke (with a wicked sound system!) as part of The Mighty Ooossshhh Live event. This is my set.
Bit of a 'bad bwoi' month this one! Strap in for some bass, breaks, rave and of course lashings of House, both deep and piano!
For June's mix, I've decided to go all out House (with a little sprinkling of Bass to top things off) so expect pianos, vocals and driving dance floor beats throughout!
This month's mix kicks off with some Tech House, goes a bit Rave House and then finishes you off with some quality Acid. Get involved!
Slightly eclectic mix of tracks this month taking in House (of course), Tech House, Breaks and some fresh Speed Garage too. One thing all the tracks have in common though; they are absolute bangers!
There have been some absolutely belting tracks released in the last few weeks. This mix brings together some of my favourites and some of the most banging tracks to drop in Feb 2022.
New year, new artwork for my mixtapes! This month we've got some deep grovers and some Tech-heavy bangers for you so strap up and get stuck in!
By most measures, 2021 was a god-awful year but one highlight for me was that dance music seemed to get harder, faster and elements of Acid House and Rave came back in to vogue and I flippin' love that stuff! So, this 'Best of 2021' mix is an absolute face-melter. Enjoy!
I like to think that my mixes are a little more banging than the average House and Tech House offerings but this time, I've really upped it. Most are new, released in the last few weeks but I spiced things up with a couple of classic tunes from the early days of rave and the height of the 90s club scene. These beats be fire!
December is party time, time to wheel out the absolute bangers!
This month's mix pulls together some fresh releases and a couple of re-releases of classic bangers into 50 minutes of driving House and Tech House.
The legendary Cleveland City Records have been remastering, remixing and re-releasing some amazing tunes from their incredible back catalogue recently. This mix is 50 minutes of my favourite Classic House jams from Cleveland City. Enjoy!
Do you miss the sounds OK UKG? Well, miss it no more! Here is a 50 minute mix of upfront Garage tunes made by some wicked contemporary producers!
This month has seen some absolute dancefloor monsters drop; these are just some of the tracks that have been making me shake my ass this month!
Bangers ahoy! This month's slab of Housey goodness goes in hard with some Tech and Rave vibes and tops it off with a bit of Deep because why the hell not?!
Another mixtape, another collection of absolutely banging House tunes. Let's go!
There is so much good House music around right now, I decided to do a bonus mix for May. Enjoy!
And May brings us some absolute bangers! Let's go deep with some Tech, Tech House, House and Piano House. Basically all the good shit.
This mix brings together some of my favourite tracks released in April 2021. Some proper belters in here! Turn it on, turn it up and have a little dance!
This mix is made up of some of the tracks I've been playing on my livestreams in the last few weeks; most are upfront bangers but I've snuck in a couple of forgotten gems too to spice it up a bit. Enjoy!
2021 has already seen some cracking House and Tech House tracks released; this mix is a selection of my favourites. Enjoy!
Some of the dirtiest tracks in my library. This mix is pure filth!
After a bit of a hiatus due to Christmas, New Year and the world going to hell in a handcart, I'm back with a fresh mix of the freshest House tracks. Get your week and your year started off right!
I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a bloody awful year in many ways but there has been some kick-ass House music this year; this is my retrospective of some of the best tracks from this year.
After a week off while I sorted out my new computer, my mixes are back! This week we have some fresh House and UKG with a few forgotten gems thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!
This week, I had the pleasure of finding a whole bunch of Garage and Speed Garage tracks I'd not heard before so I bought all of them and mixed them up here. You know what to expect but you won't have heard most of these before so get stuck in!
This Sunday, I had the pleasure and the privilege to play as part of the Sunday Lunch Sessions organised by House FM's DJ Lindsey Ward alongside some great DJs. This mix is the first hour of my 2 hour set; I will post the second hour next week. Enjoy!
Whoops! Meant to publish this at the weekend but I had a bit of a heavy sesh instead. Silly me! Well, it's here now and it's an hour of up-front House music bangers so turn it up and enjoy!
This week's mix is a selection of my favourite tracks released in the last week. None fresher, get involved!
This Halloween, I had the honour of guest DJing at an online party hosted by DJ Francisco who I used to travel across the country to see back in the day. This mix is part of my set for that party. I wanted it to capture the sort of music you'd hear on my mixes and livestreams so it's a real snapshot of what I do. Some of the tunes here have appeared in this mixtape series before, some make their debut here but every one of them is a banger!
This week's mix is a selection of the best House and Tech House tracks released so far in October 2020 and there are some real corkers in here! Turn it up loud and have dance!
The mid-noughties gave us great Funky House tracks like Finally and Lola's Theme. It also gave us a tonne of absolutely filthy Electro House bangers. This little mix is a selection of some of the filthiest, dirtiest belters from that time.
An hour of up-front House tracks mixed live. Enjoy!
Some absolute belters in my crate this week so I mixed 'em up live on Twitch and also kept this recording for you guys!
This week I opened the Thursday Grind, a monthly international DJ event on Twitch. Traditional wisdom is that warm up sets are relatively slow and building but screw that, I went in hard!
Ah, 2014... Back when House was Deep; back when lockdown was something only Garage MCs talked about; back when Trump was just a failing business man with a comical reality TV career; back when the UK leaving the EU was a ludicrous idea; back when Low Steppa wasn't afraid to put a donk on it... This week, I decided do a little retrospective of music I liked from a simpler time that wasn't that long ago but now also feels like aeons ago.
"Tear It Up" is this week's live mix of the new releases I picked up this week so if you want fresh House flavours, look no further!
Newly released House tunes mixed up for your listening pleasure!
What's a boy to do with all these fresh House tunes, eh? Mix them up and play them for you guys, obviously! Enjoy!
On Monday I was asked to do a last minute impromptu set on Twitch to keep the party going when a friend finished his epic 12 hour stream and before another did his regular stream an hour later. With only one hour, I decided to go in hard!
Lots of great tracks around at the moment so this is a live mix of some of my favourites!
When the sun is shining, most people reach for the light summery beach vibes; I tend to go for dark and driving Tech so this is not your normal summertime mix!
On last week's live stream, I did an impromptu Speed Garage set and this is the recording of that off-the-cuff set.
