In what's likely the final episode of the year for Politically Uncorrect, Michael takes a step back to reflect on what he calls a year of pure hell — both personally and as a sports fan. From the Super Bowl fallout to UTSA's loss to Texas State, the disappointments stacked up fast, creating a year that never seemed to give him a break.Michael revisits the lingering effects of last December's trip to Vegas and the infamous “three-day weekend,” from March that shaped much of what followed throughout the year. Rather than just rehashing losses, he unpacks how those moments compounded, altered perspective, and forced a level of self-awareness he didn't ask for but couldn't avoid. It's a raw, honest year-end reflection — no hot takes, no chaos for chaos' sake — just Michael closing the book on a year he's more than ready to leave behind, in true Politically Uncorrect fashion.

Paul Schatz is “sanguine and bullish” into the end of the year, saying it's hard to find negative catalysts in late December. However, he thinks 2026 will be “the worst year since 2022,” arguing that there won't be double-digit growth again, but it will still be a positive year overall. He likes SLB (SLB), formerly Schlumberger, as well as CF Industries (CF) and Veolia (VEOEF). On the small cap side, he highlights several ETFs.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. It is hard to sum up the work of Chad Johnson in a snippet. Chad had an enormous impact on the post-hardcore and emo scene in the early 2000's and therefore the scene even to this day. Band like Underoath, Hopesfall, Further Seems Forever all got their start on either Chad Johnson's Takehold Records or put out songs on splits or compilations under Chad. Chad also did A&R for Tooth and Nail in the early 2000's, helping bands on the label excele. Chad is also the man behind the inception and continuance of Furnace Fest in Birmingham ,Alabama which has created both one of the scenes most iconic festivals and communities. Chad is known by most musicians and people as one of the most positive people you will ever meet, but this year was a year that almost broke Chad. Listen as we talk about Chad's story and his struggle with his own mental health in this episode.

2024 marked a definitive turning point in the Star Wars fandom with casual, and even die hard fans leaving in droves due to consistant low quality projects and a lack of direction at Disney and Lucasfilm. I discuss why this years failures were the biggest ever across TV, video games, and movies and why they far outshined the release of good projects like Skeleton Crew and Bad Batch's final season. 2024.The worst year of my life. Now, the final episode of the How I Do Content Podcast every year is usually always a year-in-review episode. But this year I thought about not even recording this episode, or simply doing a surface-level review of just the good stuff. And it would be so easy to do that – but, if you're a long-time listener of the podcast, you KNOW that's not how I roll. And, honestly, business doesn't look like the curated highlight reel you see on Instagram every single day. There are days, weeks, months, and years when you wonder why you put yourself through the rollercoaster that is running a business. But this is why sharing all sides of business is so powerful – because then you know you're not alone, and you know there are other people navigating the same kinda things as you.And sometimes that's the reminder you need to keep going when you're in the thick of it. My intention with this podcast is for you to always take away something that's relevant and relatable to you and your business. So, in today's episode of the How I Do Content Podcast, I'm going to share my biggest lessons from 2024, what I'm most proud of, and how my business supported me during the worst year of my life. So, for one final time this year – let's do this!Want more?Sign up for the Biz Wizard Intensive at https://thesocialbolt.thrivecart.com/biz-wizard-intensive/ Download Marketing Prompts For Client Converting Content https://thesocialbolt.com.au/prompts/Follow Tahryn on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/thesocialboltFind out more at https://www.thesocialbolt.com.au
