2024.The worst year of my life. Now, the final episode of the How I Do Content Podcast every year is usually always a year-in-review episode. But this year I thought about not even recording this episode, or simply doing a surface-level review of just the good stuff. And it would be so easy to do that – but, if you're a long-time listener of the podcast, you KNOW that's not how I roll. And, honestly, business doesn't look like the curated highlight reel you see on Instagram every single day. There are days, weeks, months, and years when you wonder why you put yourself through the rollercoaster that is running a business. But this is why sharing all sides of business is so powerful – because then you know you're not alone, and you know there are other people navigating the same kinda things as you.And sometimes that's the reminder you need to keep going when you're in the thick of it. My intention with this podcast is for you to always take away something that's relevant and relatable to you and your business. So, in today's episode of the How I Do Content Podcast, I'm going to share my biggest lessons from 2024, what I'm most proud of, and how my business supported me during the worst year of my life. So, for one final time this year – let's do this!Want more?Sign up for the Biz Wizard Intensive at https://thesocialbolt.thrivecart.com/biz-wizard-intensive/ Download Marketing Prompts For Client Converting Content https://thesocialbolt.com.au/prompts/Follow Tahryn on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/thesocialboltFind out more at https://www.thesocialbolt.com.au

The first back-to-back rate cut in 13 years would mark a shift in focus for the euro zone's central bank from bringing down inflation to protecting economic growth, which has lagged far behind that of the United States for two years straight. The vast majority of humanitarians killed in the last decade are not foreign aid workers, but local humanitarians who often face grave dangers simply trying to save lives in the communities where they live, says IFRC Secretary General Jagan Chapagain in this special episode, recorded during the United Nations General Assembly in late September. “More than 95 per cent of the humanitarians killed have been from local communities,” says Chapagain, who called on UN member states to protect aid workers and to take urgent action on a wide range of critical humanitarian concerns.

Today, I'm getting vulnerable on Body Bites with Bec and totally changing the tune. I wanted to share the story about how I (nearly) finished building an app last year (an entire 11 month project, self funded and countless hours) only to have it fail, hire lawyers to help me and begin a legal case (that's still going...) and decide to restart the entire process, from the beginning, with a new team, from scratch

It's a big week for Donald Trump as the Supreme Court rules to put him on the ballot in Colorado and other states. Super Tuesday is going to be a super sweep for the former Prez as the primary that never really started pretty much ends. At the same time, Joe Biden in under fire from liberal media including 60 Minutes and NBC. Chris Stigall took to X to hammer Missouri governor Mike Parson over the weekend after Parson commuted the sentence of Brit Reid. There was a whole lot of losing in college basketball Saturday as KU is having it's worst year ever under Bill Self. KSU and MU flopped, too. But can you believe it? UMKC is surging all the way up to the number two seed in their conference tourney next week and they've got a real shot to go dancing.
Time for a pit-stop, D-Pads! As gamers we're still early enough into the lifecycle of our favourite medium to have been blessed with more fantastic years than bad ones. After the gaming crash of the 1980s, it looked like the sky was the limit! That is, until 1995. While no year is without a few stand-out games, some years brought more misery than excitement. Join us as we draft some of the best AND worst games from 1995. Does the glory of Earthbound outweigh the shame of Penn and Teller's Smoke and Mirrors? We're alive! Your Gamer Friends return to share some updates. Basically, last year was the worst year of our lives. Everything sucks! Not even two Spider-Men could save 2023. But, we're back, and we're going to talk about it all, including a very informal recap of our gaming adventures last year as well as a haphazard yet well deserved crowning of Game of the Year. If you don't want to hear about our clinical depression, jump to 35:45 to get to the games. Thank you so much for listening! As always, we really appreciate the support. We're trying to get off of social media, so hang out with us on Discord (https://discord.gg/ZKepzNA), or Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/gamerfriendspod/?hl=en) or support us on Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/gamerfriendspodcast?fan_landing=true). A bombshell poll is out from Heartland/Rasmussen that reveals at least 1 in 5 Americans that voted by mail in 2020 admit to committing voter fraud. The numbers are staggering as a total of 67 million votes were cast via mail or absentee methods and the different ways people cheated, knowingly or unknowingly, is alarming. This is a huge story and I can't believe nobody is reporting. Absentee voting has to end. House Speaker Mike Johnson says NO to the Biden/Zelensky dog and pony show, you'll hear from the Speaker. While everyone is blaming the Chiefs skill players on offense for all the team's troubles, Patrick Mahomes conveniently is left out. But why? All these players everyone is bitching about have Super Bowl rings and caught TD passes in the big game last year. Nobody wants to say the truth. Mahomes is a turnover mess and has become emotional and pouty. He dug the Chiefs hole on Sunday and Toney gets blamed. It's PM's worst year, easily. He's a problem right now, too. The Royals are starting to make some noise signing some pretty good looking pitchers and a famous rock star's estate is up for sale in Georgia.
Why 2024 Will Be Most People's WORST Year
