Do you like getting emails on a predictable schedule and not any time a user decides to fill out your form? If so, you might want to check out Webform Scheduled Tasks Module name/project names Webform Scheduled Tasks Brief history Created by mattgill on 22 November 2017 It has a 3.0-rc1 release available with Drupal 10 compatibility and is awaiting review of it's automated D11 fixes. Maintainership Its last release was in November 2023, but just a month ago I helped get Sean Dietrich approved as a new maintainer, so I'm hoping for a new release in the near future. It has security coverage. Tests exist to test the full functionality of the module and they are passing. There is no standalone documentation, although a README is RTBC'ed. That said, the module page has a straightforward description of what the module does and how to use it, and getting it up and running is very straightforward. Number of open issues: 24 open issues, only 1 of which is a bug against the current branch. I'll also note there are 8 issues that are RTBC, so we should be seeing some fixes forthcoming. Usage stats: 817 sites Module features and usage Once you enable the module, Webforms will have an additional “Scheduled tasks” configuration screen. You can create a task to email all results or just the results since the last export. Once you enable a scheduled task, you can set a number of options: its next scheduled run and the run interval (in hours, days, weeks, etc) where to email the results, in what format (JSON or CSV), whether to delete submissions after they're sent There's also a RTBC patch to allow you to configure file names to include date-time of export, which can help the recipients keep track of the exports. After that, you just sit and wait for cron to do its thing.
This week on "Off The Cuff," Tim and Jill do a deep dive into the Department of Education's (ED) recently held negotiated rulemaking (neg reg) session for the Reimagining and Improving Student Education (RISE) committee. Jill explains the committee's goal to implement multiple provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). From there, the team discusses what happened during the committee's first week-long meeting in September, including debate over what classifies a "professional student." Jill concludes by discussing what's ahead for the committee in November, though it's unclear if the committee will meet under the current government shutdown and what the timeline for implementing these final rules could look like.
Are you the kind of speaker who loves to have everything prepared in advance? Perhaps you even have your entire presentation scripted out nearly word for word and you have detailed notes for every slide that you rely on?Well, I have a challenge for you: getting more comfortable with impromptu speaking. As a speaker and as a leader, both impromptu and prepared speaking skills are a must.Have you ever had one of these situations happen to you:You're in a meeting or group and asked to share something on the spot. You get really nervous and feel at a loss for words. You're at a networking event where you need to concisely share with other attendees who you are, what you do, and how you help people. I want more women - including you! - to feel comfortable and confident commanding a room and leading teams, organizations, and companies. In this episode, I share:Why impromptu speaking is hardWhy it matters to your development as a speaker and leaderSpecific things you can do to get better at impromptu speakingSome of my own impromptu speaking wins and fails! This episode originally aired as episode 390 on April 29, 2024.Links:Show notes at https://www.speakingyourbrand.com/390/ Discover your Speaker Archetype by taking our free quiz at https://www.speakingyourbrand.com/quiz/Apply for our Thought Leader Academy: https://www.speakingyourbrand.com/academy/ Attend our 1-day in-person Speaking Accelerator workshop in Orlando: https://www.speakingyourbrand.com/orlando/ Connect on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/carolcoxRelated Podcast Episodes:Episode 382: 3 Signs You're Stuck in the Expert Trap with Your Public SpeakingEpisode 370: Overcome Speaking Nerves & Anxiety: How to Develop Confidence on StageEpisode 379: How to Develop Stage Presence and Build Confidence as a SpeakerEpisode 347: The Power of REAL Practice to Transform Yourself as a Speaker

This week on "Off The Cuff," Melanie and Nalia provide an update on where things stand with funding for federal student aid programs due to the ongoing government shutdown. Nalia begins by debriefing listeners on what has happened with the government shutdown so far, which began on October 1. Melanie then discusses how the shutdown – now entering its third week – is impacting federal student aid, including concerns NASFAA has heard from members, and shares several resources to answer member questions. The team also highlights how the White House's most recent reduction in force (RIF) at the Department of Education (ED), where roughly 20% of staff were laid off, could impact higher education. Nalia also provides an overview of the current appropriations process, where Congress must work together to fund the government for fiscal year (FY) 2026.
This week on “Off The Cuff,” Hugh is joined by David to discuss how the lapse in appropriations for fiscal year (FY) 2026 is impacting Department of Education (ED) services and programs. David shares some guidance from the department, which outlined how over 80% of ED and Federal Student Aid (FSA) staff are being furloughed during the shutdown. Hugh provides some insight into how ED's negotiated rulemaking session has managed to continue meeting in-person this week and discusses how long it could take for the government to reopen. David then reminds listeners of some summer guidance regarding the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program and activities it cannot support.
#dickinsonpdnd #offthecuff Oғғ ᴛʜᴇ Cᴜғғ Pᴏᴅᴄᴀsᴛ | Eᴘɪsᴏᴅᴇ #25"Enduring Enforcement" - OFC Anthony MauserOur 2024 Traffic Safety Officer of the Year, OFC Anthony Mauser, joins us in studio for a compelling take on the importance of traffic enforcement. OFC Mauser traces his career path from tracking ospreys as a biologist to hunting DUIs as an officer—not for numbers, but for prevention. He breaks down how real DUI detection works at night: the “rhythm” of intersections, subtle cues that precede violations, and calm conversations that reveal more than a flashlight ever could. He's blunt about the stakes—kids in cars, ruined lives, and the toll on first responders—and equally clear about the mission: visible presence to change behavior before a key turns in the ignition. Along the way, he shares field-tested stories from his US Park Ranger days, including a lost-hiker rescue and a bison goring triage that show how calm judgment and simple tools save lives.Timecodes00:00:21 - Milestone 25 & Busy Summer00:01:28 - Launching the Safe Exchange Zone00:03:38 - Budget Priorities: Fleet & Tech00:05:01 - Introducing My90 and Axon Ecosystem00:07:20 - AI Report Writing: Draft One00:09:11 - Breaking Down the Carrolls Shooting Case00:12:10 - Tech Stack: Cameras, LPRs, Body Cam Evidence00:14:36 - Teamwork, Public Tips, and Rapid Arrests00:17:32 - DUI Trends and DOT Recognition00:18:36 - The Red Corvette Crash Story00:21:18 - Hard Truths: DUI Harm and Prevention00:24:02 - Meet Officer Anthony Mauser00:26:03 - From Ospreys to Law Enforcement00:29:07 - Campus Policing and Finding a Niche00:32:21 - First Nights in Dickinson00:35:11 - How DUI Detection Really Works00:39:28 - The Two Tracks: Admin vs Criminal00:42:07 - Presence Over Punishment: Why It Matters00:45:29 - Kids in Cars: The DUI Line You Don't Cross00:49:16 - The Human Cost of DUI Crashes 00:53:20 - Staying Motivated and Mentoring Through Competition00:56:22 - Advice for New Recruits00:59:10 - Park Ranger Stories: Lost Hikers01:02:33 - Park Ranger Stories: Bison Goring01:16:56 - Speed Cuffing & ClosePlease subscribe to the podcast at:Buzzsprout : https://offthecuffdickinsonpd.buzzsprout.comiTunes : https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/off-the-cuff-with-dickinson-pd/id1570884709Spotify : https://open.spotify.com/show/5gbmUwtX1na3kwROT8Kvg2Amazon Music : https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/8ac1f628-fec0-4cff-a0a9-766d878c9194/OFF-THE-CUFF--WITH-DICKINSON-PDFacebook @DickinsonPDMUSIC FEATURING:Epic Americana 4 - ExtremeMusic#offthecuff #dickinsonpd

Head's up: Colleen had a lot of Internet problems while recording this episode. It's edited down pretty heavily.
