The same energy that propelled the Habs to a banner win in game 3 was not quite there for the game tonight. The Habs face a must win situation in D.C. on Wednesday night!

Any doubts about the Habs you may have had ought to be LAID TO REST after a dominating win against the Capitals after what was probably the craziest, and most exciting, playoff game in recent memory.

Frankly, a better effort by the Habs in game 2, but the same result. Now, the series goes to Montreal, and the boys have much more to prove in front of the home crowd.

Hey listeners! It was a sad decision, but this may be the last episode of the Habby Hour for a long while. We talk about the reasons why, and reminisce about the past a bit before getting into the latest in Habs hockey. Thank you, everyone, for making this experience so fun and rewarding for us for these past seven(ish) years.

Took a month to recharge and we're back with, well, SOME info. Mostly about the Stanley Cup Finals and the shocking fate of CapFriendly!

After some scheduling and technical issues we're finally back with a new episode! A lot of the news from the Habs wrapping up their season is long since gone, so we lament over the Leafs OT victory against the Bruins and chat other playoff games and the coming draft lottery!

It's been a minute! Unfortunately technology kept Beth from staying on with us but Dave and Veronica do their best in catching up on the past 2ish weeks of Habs news! It's a lot more fun following a 9-3 thumping of the Flyers!

We're finally back! Just Dave and Beth tonight, but they go over the past couple weeks of games, and talk a bit about MSL's leave of absence from the team, as well as Reinbacher's coming debut with the Rocket!

A win! The Habs played spoiler to the Predators and ended their 8 game winning streak while breaking their own 4 game losing streak! This is the last episode before the trade deadline, so you can probably count on us having SOMETHING to talk about next week!

Hey! Guess what! The Habs actually WON a game! Another losing streaked is snapped as Dave and Veronica chat about that, the loses leading to it, and trade some pickup lines!

In this episode David found out what a home and home is! But, aside from that, the Habs haven't had a great time since the last time we recorded. BUT! This is the first episode in a WHILE where we have a full roster! Enjoy! (unfortunately, more audio issues this week, this time, with David's mic! awesome!)

Audio quality warning! Unfortunately Beth's mic wasn't picked up all that well and is very, very soft, sorry! Despite that, Dave and Beth discuss the complete game that the Habs finally were able to put together against the Ducks! And also how terrible of a Super Bowl weekend the team suffered through.

It's only Dave on this episode! Recaps of the games against the Islanders and the Penguins, some roster shuffling, Gally's suspension, and other things!

Ohhhhhhkay. Not a great few games for the Habs! Because of that, half of the episode is about the Habs, then the other half is about our worst concerts we've seen live, and then the academy award nominations!

You MAY NOT BELIEVE IT BUT... For the first time this season the Habs have two regulation wins in a row! GOLLY GEE. This episode is a little shorter since there was not a ton of gossip aside from catching up on the games where we all saw great highs, and great lows!

We're back! Catching up on the NINE games that we didn't get to talk about over the holidays! We do our best, with Dave and Veronica trading blows about none other than Montembeault!

A new 4 game losing streak! RHP is down! The western road trip looms! Thanksgiving is coming! When will the terror end??

Even with a couple of OT wins in the past week, most notably against the Bruins, the Habs are still feeling the difficulties of November, and the west coast road trip is still yet to come!

November has been TOUGH on the Habs! Just David and Veronica tonight talking about the recent Habs play, and then John Adams!

A recap of the last 2 games of the month as well as a slight recap of the month of October in this rather inebriated episode of the Habby Hour! And, don't you know, it's our 300th episode!

Another Thursday episode which comes after what was probably some of the worst officiating one could hardly expect out of a hockey game. The Habs hosted the Blue Jackets and a good deal of the first part of the episode is dedicated to the dubious officiating in what would ultimately be an OT win for the Habs. That, as well as Pinto's suspension, pride tape, and more!

The Habs are now 1-1-1 after a pretty uninspiring performance against the Wild last night, which at least followed the first win of the season against the Hawks back on Saturday! The weird schedule continues as the Habs have a few more days to figure things out before they go up against the Capitals on Saturday. All that to say, the worst news from today being Kirby Dach is out for the season, and there has not been an update on Kaiden Guhle either. Good thing everyone got up in arms over the medical staff last year!

The regular season is finally here! The first contest for the Habs pits them against the Leafs for what was a roller coaster of a game! Highlights a plenty to talk about despite falling in the shootout.

Hey! A rare Thursday night episode! The crew go into the preseason games so far and what the team is doing up in Mont-Tremblant. And, guess what. REAL HOCKEY IS BACK NEXT WEEK!

Training camp! Preseason! Who's been cut?? Who's staying?? The whole crew is on board for this episode!

Dave and Veronica are back with more Habs news! Now, actual games! The Prospect Challenge tournament was held in Buffalo with three games to talk about. Habs fans will have more to look forward to this week as the 'actual' training camp is starting up while the Red vs White scrimmage is this weekend!

CONTENT!! The Habs had THE golf thingy that they do every year TODAY and we finally have SOME Habs stuff to talk about! The new leadership group on the ice was verified, and the gang talked about some of the videos shared from the tourney! A lot of the conversation focused on the round table hosted by Michel Lacroix, and then a bit of the schedule ahead! And catching up on some important news from last week, the PWHL is coming! Also, comments from fans were answered. All that and more in this week's episode!

With only a little bit of Habs news to share, Dave and Beth go off on tangents that only resemble hockey talk in the slightest! With that being said, less than 3 weeks until preseason!

Just Dave and Veronica on this one as a majority of the Habs talk focuses on the golf tournament today AND Mailloux being cleared to play by the NHL. Just the small stuff, obviously!

So, as usual, the news is few and far between, however the Habs did announce the event night schedule for the season which includes a Pride Night! Catch that, and more (remember Club 1909?) on this week's episode!

Petry comes! Petry goes! Hughes makes two moves that seem to suggest that the cap is foremost on his mind as the off season continues.

There were TWO things to talk about for the Habs!.. And... That was pretty much it. So, there's that, and a bunch of other stuff.

Sorry for the delay! We have a bit of Habs news, like some new contracts, most notably for Alex Newhook, what the cap looks like now, the preseason schedule, and also some other Habs activities as the off season rolls on!

The whole crew is back with a LITTLE Habs news. Albeit, important! First, Gallgher is engaged! Then there's some discourse on the modern methods of proposing before getting into some contract signings and extensions, in particular... David Reinbacher!

The Draft! UFA Day! New Habs! Habs leaving! It's a two person crew to start the Habby Hour's seventh season!

News! And on this, the last episode of season 6! Some prayers were answered as the Habs shored up things on the medical side of the ice, while they also shed a couple of picks and a player for none other than Alex Newhook! That, some talk about BlueSky, and that's a wrap on the season!

We have NEWS! Monahan remains a Monahab, and we got a LITTLE bit of insight into the possible future of Carey Price. Also, just for fun, we do a deep dive into the La Mans disaster, and chat a bit about Black Mirror! We are basically your one stop for everything you could possibly need.

You guessed it! The majority of this episode focuses on the Cole Caufield contract. Eight years of Cole! And for UNDER $8 million per! Great value according to US! Yet there's more! Veronica and Dave talk about Pezzetta's extension, the Knights and Panthers, social media hooliganism, Pride, and of course, Pamela Anderson!

We're finally back! Now that Dave is back the crew can get back to talking Habs! This episode focuses on the current UFA and RFA players and what the club may consider to do with them, with emphasis on Drouin! This later devolves into talking about the Maple Leaf drama. There's also a bit of Team Canada in here, and the season finales of Barry and Ted Lasso!

What else is there to talk about aside the IIHF? And, the Leafs losing of course! The gang actually starts with a bit of old timey movie talk before slipping into how the Habs players are doing in the IIHF tournament!

The draft lottery was tonight aaaaaand... IT'S RIGGED. The crew talk about that, which Habs are heading to the IIHF tournament, and Tom Hardy.

The Habs news is VERY slow, again! However, we do know of some prospects make their way through the CHL playoffs! Unfortunately, that does not diminish how utterly terrible the success of the Leafs has been. Beth and Dave talk more about the Habs, the playoffs, and react to the Devils/Rangers game as the updates come!

The off season is REALLY on now that the Habs do not have one team in the playoffs in any league! Despite a cavalier end of season performance the Rocket were eliminated in the first round of the AHL playoffs after not being able to win a single game. Unfortunately there was not a lot to talk about Habs wise, aside from circling back to the importance of David Savard and Mike Matheson. Aside from that? What is going on with Twitter??

Well, that's it for the regular season! As of recording we are in the 2nd day fo the playoffs, and who isn't there? The Montreal Canadiens. But! Not all hope is lost, tonight the gang reflect on the last few weeks of the season, spend some time talking about the Laval Rocket, go over some of the topics from the end of the season, and more!
