More unexpected result for a Habs player in these playoffs: Bolduc’s style and 6pts or Kirby Dach’s 4 goals? What’s your feel about how tonight’s game is going to go down? Habs too much for Sabres? Buffalo brings a different style? Or Habs just have the Sabres number after outscoring them 11-3 in the last two games? How do you feel about the comparison of Dobes and Halak that’s been going around? Is it accurate? LaMelo Ball has a newborn and the name of the child is in…LaOne! Well, that’s a choice. How challenging is it to name your child?
After dropping Game 1 to the Buffalo Sabres, the Canadiens responded exactly how they needed to, with back-to-back statement wins in Games 2 and 3. In this episode, we break down how Montreal flipped the momentum of the series, from Alex Newhook's breakout performances and Jakub Dobes' bounce-back in net, to Cole Caufield getting on the scoresheet, Lane Hutson driving offence, and the power play coming alive at the Bell Centre. We also discuss whether the Canadiens have found the formula to slow down Buffalo's speed, or if the Sabres are starting to unravel with turnovers, penalties, and frustration. Plus, we look ahead to Game 4 and what Montreal needs to do to keep control of the series. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. You expecting MSL to make a change to his top 6 tonight? Move Slaf? Insert Kapanen? Move Dach off his line? With what you’ve seen from Kirby Dach, has he played himself into a long term deal? If so, how long of a contract would you offer him? With all the hype around playoff time in both the NHL and NBA. Do find it’s lived up to the hype in either league so far? Two teams in the NHL have yet to lose a playoff game, we had one series that went 7 and the NBA seems to have more blowout wins than close games?
After a heartbreaking 1-0 overtime loss at the Bell Centre, the Montreal Canadiens are heading to Game 7 against the Tampa Bay Lightning with their season on the line.
