Play Episode Listen Later Jan 24, 2026 40:18

Welcome to Slap Shot Podcast! In episode 96, host Christopher Morais (@fuzzychris91) looks at some new (and returning) faces joining the Montreal Canadiens. Will Alexandre Texier make an impact? Will Adam Engstrom make an impact in his call-up to the big club? The Canadiens announced that they have re-signed Mike Matheson to a five-year/$30M contract extension. Everyone has an opinion, but Christopher tells you why this is a win-win for everyone involved, along with how good he has been this season for the team.
