The Dubas Cube 07/31/26 Per The Athletic's Josh Yohe, the Pittsburgh Penguins' 2026-2027 season holds the promise of … not much! PIT's GM, Kyle Dubas wasn't all that impressed with what he saw when he went free-agency-shopping, or the pieces he coveted were simply out of his league, for lack of a better turn of phrase. That's the question posed by Kurt Weaver, the Executive Director of You Can Play, regarding how Pride events are handled in sports.  Read more here, after the finger pointing, the absence of leadership, and the spin. The deadly earthquakes in Venezuela hit the baseball world hard. Venezuelan players in MLB played through the pain, and wore their hearts on their caps. Current and former players are rolling up their sleeves and organizing relief efforts to augment the donations from MLBPA Trust and individual teams. The LMBP season is suspended and Venezuelans just keep taking hits. The Men's World Cup brings us an unlikely Pride Night with Egypt vs Iran where you can bring your own rainbow but not pre-revolutionary flags. Bosnia fans chant “Free Palestine” and we cheer for family making it through the immigration hoops. But FIFA is not political. In regularly scheduled MLB action, Pete gets to 500, Kyle gets to Pottymouth's Posse, Jac gets back to Tampa, and Willson gets to hate on the Yankees. During a San Francisco Giants home game this month dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, four pitchers drew attention for their protest of the team's themed rainbow uniform. One player opted out of wearing the uniform entirely, while three others doctored their hats with a bible verse that has been used by some Christian groups to “reclaim” the rainbow. Major League Baseball issued a warning to those players that writing of any kind on uniforms goes against league rules. That, in turn, led to the Department of Justice opening a civil rights investigation into whether the MLB is discriminating against the players' religious rights. Iran's Strait closure, the Fauci files, JD Vance in Switzerland, and a forfeited pride night headline today's A.M. Update. Iran announces another closure of the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend, citing continued fighting in southern Lebanon, even as JD Vance meets face to face with Iranian officials including President Masoud Pezeshkian's delegation in Switzerland to hammer out the technical details of last week's memorandum of understanding. Trump tells Axios that Netanyahu owes his job to Trump's restraint and admits he has to keep him "a little bit sane," and Aaron prays for fewer casualties as the whole situation continues to look messy. Outgoing DNI Tulsi Gabbard releases a trove of documents showing Dr. Anthony Fauci briefed CIA officials in 2021 on Wuhan gain-of-function research weeks after denying funding it under oath, and says she believes a path to prosecution still exists despite his Biden-era pardon. Pennsylvania's York Revolution forfeits its own pride night game and throws several of its players under the bus in a public statement after they refused to wear rainbow-themed jerseys, a story Aaron says is even better than last week's Giants scripture-hat saga. JD Vance also goes deep on the abolitionist versus incrementalist divide inside the pro-life movement on Allie Beth Stuckey's podcast, and Aaron closes with the rabbit hole he fell into this weekend chasing a mysterious tower on the Iowa horizon: a Cold War-era AT&T Long Lines microwave relay station.

Inclusivity Or Compliance? Giants Players Defy MLB & LGBTQ Bullies On “Pride Night.”

The Larry Elder Show

In a shocking display of courage, a group of Christian baseball players are standing up for their faith in the face of intense pressure from the LGBTQ community. This episode delves into the story of the San Francisco Giants players who refused to wear Pride Night hats with Bible verses on them, and the backlash they faced from Major League Baseball. The speaker discusses how the LGBTQ community's push for inclusivity is actually a form of intolerance, where individuals are forced to comply with their ideology. This is not about acceptance, but about imposing one's beliefs on others. The speaker highlights the importance of standing up for one's faith and values, even in the face of adversity. The episode explores the story of the San Francisco Giants players who were warned by Major League Baseball for wearing Bible verses on their hats during Pride Night. The speaker also touches on the broader implications of this issue, including the MLB's history of pushing progressive ideologies on its players. From allowing BLM patches to moving the All-Star Game, the speaker argues that the league is promoting a certain worldview. If you're tired of the left's attempts to silence conservative voices and impose their ideology on others, tune in to this episode to hear the speaker's take on this important issue. Something unusual happened across America's sports arenas this week — and almost nobody's covering it. UFC fighters quoted Scripture to Joe Rogan mid-octagon. A New York Knick dropped to his knees in worship before winning the franchise's first championship in 50 years. And a baseball player wrote Genesis 9:12-16 on his Pride Night hat — quietly reclaiming the rainbow's original biblical meaning in front of millions. Is this a coincidence? Or is something bigger shifting in the culture? Lance Wallnau breaks down the moments Christian athletes are making headlines — from the octagon to the court to the diamond — and why the mainstream media isn't sure what to do with any of it. Plus: Trump's 80th birthday at the White House, the NYC chaos after the Knicks title, Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire, and Lance's inside breakdown of why the Iran deal might actually hold. -Several San Francisco Giants pitchers become unlikely culture-war celebrities after writing Bible verses on their caps during Pride Night, prompting Rob to wonder when baseball became less about batting averages and more about mandatory ideological dress codes. -Hillary Fordwich joins Rob for a wide-ranging discussion comparing life in the United States and the United Kingdom. Fordwich argues that many international visitors underestimate America's prosperity, freedom, and opportunity until they experience it firsthand. She discusses how visitors attending international soccer events are discovering American hospitality, lower taxes, higher wages, stronger individual liberties, and a culture of optimism that contrasts sharply with conditions in parts of Europe.  Today's podcast is sponsored by : PARAMOUNT PLUS - Don't Miss "The Agency." All episodes streaming June 21st on Paramount Plus RELIEF FACTOR - You don't need to live with aches & pains! You HAVE to see this — a Giants pitcher just quietly stood up to the nonstop LGBT push on Pride Night … and the woke mob is melting down! Landen Roupp made headlines by wearing a Pride Night hat featuring a powerful Bible verse instead of bowing to the usual agenda. While MLB keeps forcing rainbow everything down fans' throats, this bold stand is a breath of fresh air and proof that not everyone is surrendering to the woke takeover of sports. We also cover: Tom Brady's “Good Nut” drink that fuels champions daily. JD Vance breaks down the shocking $300 billion to Iran. Jim Acosta compares removing Trump's name to the Berlin Wall falling. Trump takes center stage at the G7 Summit in France. Shocking B-52 bomber crash at Edwards AFB raises major questions. This isn't just about one game — it's about fighting back against the radical LGBT agenda hijacking sports, culture, and our kids. Conservatives are done staying silent, and moments like this prove common sense and faith still have a powerful voice. Comment below RIGHT NOW: Was Landen Roupp right to wear the Bible verse? YES or NO? Should MLB stop forcing Pride Nights on players and fans? And who's the bigger hero — the players who push back or the ones who quietly go along? If you're tired of woke nonsense ruining sports and want more unfiltered conservative truth, smash that LIKE button, SUBSCRIBE, and hit the bell so you never miss these fire takes. - The episode opens with the revelation that the FBI thwarted a terror plot targeting the White House UFC event, with investigators allegedly uncovering plans for explosive drones, sniper fire, and a follow-on assault aimed at maximizing panic and mass casualties. - The White House UFC card is framed as a huge cultural and political win, with the event presented as patriotic, dramatic, and unapologetically American while critics in media and entertainment are portrayed as furious that it succeeded so publicly. - The show argues that Democratic elites and liberal celebrities increasingly define themselves through open contempt for the country, spotlighting Robert De Niro, Bette Midler, and other anti-Trump figures as examples of people who can no longer separate hatred of Trump from hatred of America itself. - Elon Musk's trillionaire milestone becomes another flashpoint, with the episode casting his SpaceX success as proof that capitalism rewards innovation and job creation while Democrats like Elizabeth Warren and Graham Platner respond by attacking wealth instead of explaining how success harms ordinary workers. - MLB is accused of punishing religious expression after San Francisco Giants pitchers write Bible verses on Pride Night caps, turning a simple display of Christian faith into the latest example of selective tolerance in professional sports.
