    Ivy Insights

The Living IN Jesus Podcast is an incredible source of spiritual teaching and insight that has truly transformed my life. As someone who has been involved in church for many years and has had a personal relationship with God since my teenage years, I thought I had a solid understanding of my faith. However, the principles taught by CFT Ministry on this podcast have completely revolutionized my perspective on God, myself, and the abundant life we are called to live.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the depth of biblical knowledge and wisdom that is presented. The teachings are rooted in Scripture and not in the traditions of man, which allows for a fresh and genuine understanding of who we are in Christ. The hosts and guests demonstrate a true understanding of the Word of God and how it applies to our everyday lives. This level of insight is truly inspiring and has provided me with valuable tools for navigating trials, understanding my identity in Christ, and living out a purposeful life.

Another great aspect of this podcast is its ability to resonate with listeners on a personal level. The episodes tackle topics that are relevant to our daily lives, such as understanding our trichotomous nature or delving into the design of humanity. By addressing these issues head-on, the podcast creates an environment where listeners can truly connect with the teachings and apply them to their own lives. This relatability makes the content more accessible and impactful.

While it is challenging to find any negative aspects about The Living IN Jesus Podcast, one potential drawback could be its limited episode release schedule. With only one episode released so far at the time of writing this review, I am eagerly awaiting more content from this podcast. However, this shows that there is a demand for more episodes because the teachings are so enriching.

In conclusion, The Living IN Jesus Podcast is an exceptional resource for anyone seeking deeper spiritual understanding and growth in their Christian walk. The teachings offered by CFT Ministry have the power to transform lives and provide a fresh perspective on God, ourselves, and the abundant life we are called to live. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who is ready to dive into the Scriptures and allow these Truths to take root in their hearts.

One of the amazing and beautiful characteristics of Jesus Christ which we see in the four gospels is how he related unconditionally with all those he met. He graciously loved others— even those who mistreated him. As God’s children, we are called and empowered by Christ’s life in us to love others unconditionally. In this episode, Ross talks with Tom Price, Tess Price, and Beau Brezina about expectations in relationships, the challenges of loving others well and their testimonies of receiving God’s grace and extending it to others.

We all experience pain and burdens in our lives. Life’s difficulties can easily lead people to question God’s goodness or even His existence. But God desires a different response from His children – one of trusting in Him and surrendering to His leading and provision while in the storm. The greatest display of God’s glory came when Jesus bore up under great suffering by submitting to the Heavenly Father and depending on Him. In this episode, Ross talks with Beau Brezina, Connie Brezina, and Jamie Pharis Pyles about the burdens and trials they have faced, and how God uses burdens to break our reliance on the flesh and leads us to experience peace through submission to His love, grace and strength.

    Identifying Our Flesh

Have you ever struggled with the same temptation to sin over and over again? All our temptations flow from what the Bible calls desires of the flesh. When we repeatedly give into the same temptation to try to meet our needs apart from God by indulging fleshly desires, a “flesh” pattern develops in our lives. Behind our “flesh” patterns are lies that we believe. In order to walk in victory, a believer must replace those lies with truth. In Romans 12:2, the Apostle Paul instructs us to “… be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” In this episode, Ross talks with Ben Brezina, Mark Fields, and Tom Price about the process of identifying our flesh patterns and how to work with God to expose the lies we are believing, replace lies with the truth, and walk in victory and freedom.

There is an unseen war being fought every day in your mind. The war is between truth and lies. What we believe to be to be true matters because our beliefs determine our behavior. Ephesians 6:12 informs us our true battle is not against the people in our lives. There are spiritual forces who attack us regularly with lies about God, ourselves and others. In this episode, Ross talks with Greg Brezina, Beau Brezina, and Tom Price about their mental battles and how Christians can experience consistent victory in and through Jesus Christ.
