Description update: It's hard to find the words to say when tragedies occur, but I felt like I should use this platform to say something. I don't have all the facts, nor do I have all the answers, but I'm speaking from my perspective. So many thoughts run through your mind when you get phone calls regarding a gun threat or someone you know getting shot. You want to blame someone. But I know God is not to blame. He is always in control. We live in world that has chosen to reject Christ and God's people. We live in a world where evil will do what only evil can do-kill, steal, and destroy. We all have our own opinions, but being silent or ignoring this is probably not the best approach. Active prayer is the best… speaking against evil and violence is necessary. No parent should ever have to bury their child. I'm praying for the families in Texas who lost their babies. I'm praying for the other children who witnessed this… I'm going to continue praying for this world, our communities, cities, and for all children and families. We all need covering and protection.
Have you ever thought about why God allows rejection? If you've experienced it, you know it's hurtful. But if we change our perspective and looked at rejection as a blessing from God instead of questioning our value, we would be more confident in who we are and more focused on our calling. We all need comfort when we experience trials and tribulations. God wants to provide that comfort to you. He uses our tribulations to comfort others when they experience similar situations. God has a purpose and plan for your afflictions.
On this episode, I'm sharing something really personal about being in a crisis. Many of experience situations that affects us directly or indirectly. A crisis is one of this situations that can seem hopeless when it's a life or death situation. As you listen, think about the ways God has helped you overcome your crisis. Think about how your relationship with the Lord has grown deeper. Although a crisis is not easy, it's still an opportunity to see God move in a new/different way in your life. Are you nervous or fearful about doing what God called you to do? Imagine the way Joshua felt when God called him to take over Moses' position. Joshua was in mourning and maybe even nervous to do what God called him to do. It was unexpected but God told him to be strong and courageous. Joshua didn't back down or reject the call. On this episode, I'm talking about diligence. Be persistent in life, following God, and reading the Bible. Be persistent in the way you live, the things you believe, the words you speak, and the thoughts you have. What issues are dwelling inside your heart right? What issues are you dealing with in life? Are you allowing God to lead your life? Are you living with the Holy Spirit dwelling inside you? Stay focused on doing what God is telling you, be intentional, pray, have faith, and stay on the righteous path that God has for you.
In this episode, I'm sharing the ages I accomplished my goals. It's easy to get discouraged when we get caught up on the process or timing of when we should or shouldn't achieve our goals. The title and scripture used in this episode, may be fitting; however, as I recorded it, many other encouraging scriptures and titles came to my mind. The purpose of this episode is to encourage you to stick to your goals regardless of your age or how long it takes to achieve them. There is a time for everything. We don't want to rush or miss our opportunities because of fear or because we're discouraged by the timing of when those goals become a reality.

The words we listen to and the things we believe has an impact on our lives. We become our thoughts. So, it's important to learn how to stop the old patterns of thinking, and learn how to think in a new biblical way that will change the trajectory of your life.

It's time to heal and move forward from your past, so you can walk into the new hopeful future that God promised to give. On today's episode, I'm sharing my personal journey. I've lived a life of doubt and anxiety because of my upbringing and childhood trauma. And recently, more about my past was revealed. Instead of dismissing it or allowing it to discourage me, I acknowledged it, and decided to trust that God has something greater for me and my children.
