Here at the podcast we do not condone any political violence. The views on the show are strictly satire and personal views without offending anyone's view on life. With that being said, we chat about the recent passing of Charlie Kirk and the influence he had towards the Republican Party. New music talks and Cardis latest roll out for her album. New sneakers dropping. Unreleased music by Papijohnson and more.
AP's Lisa Dwyer reports there's been an arrest in a theft case involving Beyoncé.
This week on Two Parents & A Podcast, we're doing something a little different… we're releasing a (previously unreleased) episode we recorded ONE YEAR AGO, the night before Tate was born. We tried to capture every thought, fear, and feeling leading up to the biggest moment of our lives—and answer the most asked questions we were getting at the time!!! In this time capsule of a conversation, we share why we decided to schedule an induction, what we'd tell ourselves at the start of pregnancy, and our #1 piece of advice for anyone just beginning their pregnancy journey. We talk pregnancy food craving eras (lol), regrets, whether to put your baby on social media, and how we landed on Tate's name (kind of). Plus, we guess what we thought birth and life post-baby would look like. Re-listening a year later was surreal, and we're so excited for you guys to hear it. THANK YOU GUYS for being part of this journey from the very beginning—this one's special :) LOVE YOU GUYS! In this episode, Sherri and Chelsi discuss their process of sewing with a brand new fabric collection that has yet to be released. They share how they approach which quilt patterns they will make first and what they do if there are any hiccups in the process of sewing new patterns for the first time. They then share some of their top "Go-To" quilt patterns that have made time and time again. They explain why they feel these quilts are good choices for fast completions when you may need a quilt in a hurry.https://www.buzzsprout.com/1118069/supportShow Notes Blog Post: https://www.aquiltinglife.com/a-quilting-life-podcast-episode-147-show-notes/Stay in the know for all things A Quilting Life--sign up for our weekly newsletter here: https://aquiltinglife.kit.com/42c3a81ccdCozy Earth 40% off with our code AQUILTINGLIFE https://cozyearth.com/pages/quiltinglifeEclairs (Quilt on the Wall): https://tidd.ly/3D1xnzcQuilter's Cottage (Quilt on the table): https://tidd.ly/43hsZXAScissors by Moda Fabrics: https://tidd.ly/4oPRWl1 New York Times Article Featuring Sherri's Quilt: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/07/well/eleven-women-nine-dogs-not-much-drama-and-no-guys.html NOTE: Some of the links provided here are affiliate links.Where to Find Us:Facebook: A Quilting Life with Sherri & Chelsi: https://www.facebook.com/groups/459389991531728/A Quilting Life Blog: https://www.aquiltinglife.comChelsi Stratton Blog: https://chelsistratton.wordpress.com/A Quilting Life Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/aquiltinglifeA Quilting Life Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/aquiltinglife/Chelsi Stratton Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chelsistratton/A Quilting Life Pattern Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SherriQuiltsChelsi Stratton Pattern Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/StrattonHandmadeVisit the A Quilting Life YouTube channel for more great video content: https://www.youtube.com/aquiltinglifeEnjoy what you heard? Wow, 50 episodes of our podcast. How exciting. So, in celebration, I've collected together some out-takes and previously un-released material (un-released, in that, we recorded it and I edited it out of the main episode, often for a good reason!) So you have a real mixed bag selection of Debbie stumbling over words, lots of laughter, reading emails out loud to Elyse, and us talking about how to survive the Skull Cave in Stardew Valley, plus so much more. Remember, you can get in touch with us via clinical.research.intro@gmail.com. Please feel free to send questions, comments and compliments for Elyse to read out on the pod. It's fun to make Debbie squirm! Credit to our friend Sam Winnie for their awesome and cute music. Check out their work at https://www.samwinnie.com/
On the 22nd episode of Lip Biter Sounds, FLOYD WEST22 again takes you deep into the underground with a high-octane mix of house, tech, and club anthems built to keep your body moving until sunrise. From the seductive groove of Groove Armada – I See You Baby (Doctor Dope Edit) to the Latin fire of Raffa FL & Arianna Triassi – Mi Bomba, this episode delivers nothing but peak-time energy. Khia and Beltran's reimagined My Neck, My Back pushes boundaries, while DJ Susan's R.E.M. locks you into a hypnotic state of rhythm. Unreleased gems like FLOYD WEST22 – 4 A.M. IN PUERTO RICO bring raw exclusivity, balanced by heavyweight hitters like Carl Cox & Riva Starr's Shake The Nation. From Bitch in Ibiza by Kito & Justine Skye to SQWAD's thundering Def With The Record, every cut hits harder than the last. SIDEPIECE and Bobby Shmurda keep the party dangerous with Cash Out (Odd Mob Remix) before Matroda, UMEK, and Chapter & Verse bring a darker edge. Closing out with dancefloor destroyers like Everybody by Airwolf Paradise & Torren Foot, Rush by Martin Ikin, and another untitled ID from FLOYD WEST22, this mix is a pulse-racing trip through the modern sound of global nightlife. Lip Biter Sounds isn't just music—it's a full-body experience. ⚡️Like the Show? Click the [Repost] ↻ button so more people can hear it!

The belief that your inner state is fundamentally not okay, and you must spend most of your life struggling to be okay, is the cause of great suffering. Eventually, you will come to realize that it is only because you stored unresolved past experiences inside your heart and mind that you don't feel a natural flow of great joy within. These stored blockages get triggered repeatedly, creating mental and emotional turmoil. Real spiritual growth comes through recognizing this pattern and learning to release these inner blockages rather than resisting or suppressing them. He also found Lachlan Morton's Cannondale Topstone with its water-carrying Tailfin rack and custom front bag, some unreleased rubber from Pirelli, and what most of us would consider a reverse tire set-up that ended up winning the race.
