So of course the change that took place in my life required much more than just me reading Creating Money by Sanaya Roman, though I have to say reading this book did play an integral role in me changing my life. Sanaya truly sets the record straight about spirituality and money in this book. I believe the two go together in a serendipitous way. Often we confuse "the love of money" or the desire for money as being inherently an evil, selfish thing. I don't believe this always has to be the case, and the answer I truly believe is in this book. I can only hope to convey the message through my own wisdom and experience to the best of my ability. Song title: Resentments by Lil Stain This episode is a fun exploration in overcoming self doubt and trusting our intuition. There is a lot of anxiety in our culture around making decisions. Am I in the right career path? Is this person that I'm dating/ calling my partner truly right for me? Some of these questions may be more complex and may take some time to answer satisfactorily, although most of the time I believe these questions can be answered by leaning in to our intuition. Our intuition is our connection to God/ the divine/ infinite creative intelligence. God speaks to us through joy, through a sense of ease, comfort, and groundedness. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lilstainmusic/support

In this video Monga Monga and I team up for an amazing podcast episode about web 3 and the music industry, NFTs in the music industry, and much much more! We talk about NFTs for artists: how to successfully drop an NFT project as a music artist. Monga Monga has a very impressive NFT portfolio of his own and is extremely knowledgeable on the game. You may know him from any one of his viral videos on tik tok. I've learned a ton just from watching his videos, so connecting with him was a no brainer, and learned a ton! If you're a producer or artist looking to learn how to maximize web3 to boost your career, shoot him a DM! Monga Monga's tik tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mongamonga_? In this episode of the Never Settle Podcast, I sit down with 2 professional digital asset managers and discuss the state of the crypto and NFT market. Andrew and Frank with Palm and Cedar were very kind to come on the show. We talked about their opinions on Meta Hero, Bitcoin, Ethereum, the Metaverse, and where they see the crypto market heading over the next 10 years. We discuss how to invest in NFTs, and Andrew and Frank share a bit about their own investment portfolio. They've made some killer NFT purchases, now owners of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, as well as many other notable ones. I truly left this call with a much better understanding of what I should personally invest in, as well as a better fundamental understanding of the crypto world. This episode contains my take on the first chapter of Sanaya Roman's "Living With Joy". Sanaya Roman's book creating money completely changed my life when I read it a bit over a year ago. Her work continues to inspire me in huge ways. I read over the 4 main points in the "playsheet" at the end of chapter 1, and I give you my honest answers to these points in my own experience. Enjoy! I was scrolling through my news feed and found one of them self help books being advertised called "Warrior". I've always been a fan of self help content, but these days I'm reluctant to dive into new ones. Chögyam Trungpa called this "Spiritual Materialism". Collecting many different spiritual disciplines and teachings, new and ancient, is really just another form of materialistic pursuit. I might be good on it, though I'm still a bit interested. This episode gives a few of my thoughts around some of the author Garrett J White's content and how it may or may not differ from my own spiritual beliefes. Haven't been doing much about it, but I'm starting to accept it (lol). The thing is, I don't think caffeine is the worst drug out there, also if you use it effectively and moderately, it can be a great tool in my opinion. Caffeine has helped motivate me to get lots of things done at times, and can even give me an extra physical boost to get through a workout, although as someone with serious addictive tendencies, it can become destructive for me. I've surveyed lots of friends of mine about this. Some with addictive tendencies of there own and some without, and weirdly enough most people I come across don't report having the same effects as I do at all. Just 1 cup of black coffee for me can be enough to weaken my appetite, my sleep, and send uncomfortable levels of cortisol in my brain to where I become nervous and anxious for almost nothing. Then comes a crash. I started to look into some of the science on coffee addiction and found some very interesting things. Check out some of the links below to a few video resources I found very interesting, and listen on to hear more about the science and my own experience! Feeling lost in your work? Are you feeling like you aren't at all connected to what you do on a day to day basis? My name's Matt, I'm a rapper, songwriter, and full time entrepreneur. I've created a business and have been working completely for myself for a while. I've truly made some real strides and progressed professionally in a big way..... but I find more meaning in other things. I'm passionate about creating music and creating content that is meaningful to people. I want to reach out, connect, inspire, and be a part of a deeper conversation. People stay stuck trying to portray an image of what they are to other people. Next thing they know, they're working nonstop doing things they don't like to pay for a fancy car, house, apartment, etc, to impress people they don't even know, that may not even exist! This is a call to everyone to focus on what you truly love. What is it that fills you with the most joy?
