Call to Faith and Repentance Personal Testimony Inability to preach without God's presence. Acknowledges reliance on God since being called to preach. Admits personal failings but emphasizes God's faithfulness. Invitation to approach the altar for prayer and repentance. Encouragement to seek humility and communicate with God. Reassurance of God's willingness to listen to His children. Accessibility of prayer beyond the church setting. Personal experience of conversing with God while driving. Urgency to address spiritual needs immediately rather than delaying. Scriptural Reflection (Job 14) Acknowledgement of life's brevity and challenges. Reference to the fleeting nature of life, comparing it to a flower. Prayer for divine guidance and blessing. Request for the Holy Spirit's presence and direction in words and actions. The Universality of Trouble Life before salvation as a troubled time. Personal experience of being "doomed for a devil's hell" before salvation. Troubles persist even after salvation. Troubles are incomparable to the trouble of not knowing Jesus Christ. Salvation through Jesus Christ as the ultimate solution to life's troubles. The Cleansing Power of Jesus Christ The Unique Ability of Jesus to Cleanse Only Jesus can make a man's vessel fair. Salvation comes from Jesus Christ, not from any man. Rejection of the idea that signing a card can guarantee salvation. Emphasis on the necessity of the Holy Spirit's conviction and repentance. Importance of touching Jesus' blood for salvation. Personal Testimony of Salvation Personal experience of being saved at the altar. The preacher could not cleanse the heart, only Jesus could. God's love demonstrated through the sacrifice of Jesus. Jesus experienced human suffering to save humanity. God knows what individuals are going through and wants to help. Caution and Discernment in Seeking Spiritual Guidance The Importance of Sound Doctrine Doctors and scientists can cure diseases, but only Jesus can save from hell. Caution against false teachers and preachers. Some preachers distort the gospel and remove the blood of Jesus from their teachings. Need to ensure preachers are teaching the true gospel. The need to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel should be preached in truth and spirit. The Corrupting Influence of Sin and the Cleansing Power of Christ The Inevitability of Sin As people live longer, they become more corrupt. The heart becomes filled with sin. Only Jesus can cleanse a dirty heart. Jesus' willingness to be crucified demonstrates His love. His sacrifice allows people to be eternally with Him in heaven. The Importance of Repentance and Forgiveness Elder Roger still sins, but has a place to return to for forgiveness. The Holy Spirit convicts the heart when one sins. One can ask for forgiveness and receive it immediately. God is still in control, no matter how bad things get. Those saved by Jesus Christ have a better place waiting for them. The Promise of Heaven and the Importance of Salvation The Hope of Heaven Looking forward to going home to heaven. Anticipation of seeing castles, streets of gold, and a mansion. God built a mansion in heaven for Elder Roger. Jesus laid down His life and bled for humanity. He was beaten so that people could have a mansion in heaven. The Call to Salvation God knows each person's heart and what troubles them. There is no shame in talking to God. It is more shameful not to talk to God. One should not carry burdens alone. One can come to God's house and praise Him. Give Him honor for what He has done. If one needs His honors,

Evangelist John Sasser- A sermon preached Monday Evening, on October 27, 2025.
Title: Luther's Pilgrimage of Faith; The Power of Personal Testimony Speaker: Rev. Peter McIntyre Date: 26 October 2025 Bible: Romans 1:17 This sermon centres on the transformative power of a personal testimony, exemplified through Martin Luther's journey from spiritual despair to profound faith, rooted in Romans 1:17—the just shall live by faith. It traces Luther's early life burdened by fear of a wrathful God, his rigorous monastic efforts to attain peace through works, and his eventual breakthrough upon studying Scripture in Wittenberg, where he discovered salvation by grace through faith alone. The sermon emphasizes that true righteousness comes not through church rituals or personal merit, but through a direct, personal relationship with Christ, who bore humanity's sin and imputes His righteousness. This revelation—what Luther called the 'great exchange'—liberates believers from legalism and invites all to experience the gospel's life-changing power. The tone is both pastoral and urgent, calling listeners to examine their own hearts and embrace the same faith that freed Luther, urging them to know God personally and share that testimony with boldness.

He delves into Matthew's identity as a former tax collector, illustrating how Jesus transformed his life, changing his identity and direction. Through Matthew's story, Pastor Karl introduces the discipleship process of "belong, become, give, and go," encouraging listeners to reflect on their own spiritual journey. The greatest gift I've received on my generational healing journey has been reconnecting with God, a higher power that religion tried to keep me from.
What do we do when it feels like God isn't on our side? In this episode of Shifting Culture, I talk with Joshua Ryan Butler about his new book God Is On Your Side and the ways he's wrestled with that very question through seasons of heartbreak, illness, and despair. Josh takes us into the Gospel of John, where one-on-one encounters with Jesus become mirrors for our own stories - the paralyzed man, the woman at the well, the man born blind, Lazarus in the tomb. Each scene reveals a God who sees us before we see Him, who calls us beloved, and who can turn even the hardest places into holy places. This conversation is about finding hope in the dark, learning to trust God in uncertainty, and remembering that we are never abandoned.Joshua Ryan Butler is a Teaching Pastor with the Willamette family of churches in the Portland area and the author of God is On Your Side, The Party Crasher, Beautiful Union, The Skeletons in God's Closet, and The Pursuing God. Josh loves shifting paradigms, to help people who wrestle with tough topics of the Christian faith by confronting popular caricatures and replacing them with the beauty and power of the real thing. Personal Testimony and Introduction Expresses appreciation for a song, emphasizing the importance of having Jesus above worldly desires. "I got everything. You got Jesus, you got everything." Rejects the idea of "living the dream" in a worldly sense, preferring to focus on reaching the "other side of the honor." An encounter with an acquaintance who claimed to be "living the dream" prompted reflection on priorities. Acknowledges personal imperfection but emphasizes striving for salvation through Jesus Christ. Salvation is achieved through being "born again by the blood of Jesus Christ." Emphasizes that the Father must call on you to go through the door. Malachi 3: God the Refiner The sermon is based on Malachi 3, focusing on God as a refiner. Key verses: Malachi 3:2-3 "But who may abide the day of His coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner's fire and like fuller's soap." "And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness." Understanding the Refiner's Process Fuller's Soap: Definition: A strong alkaline substance used to clean and whiten cloth, especially wool, in ancient times. Made from harsh substances from plants and ashes to remove impurities or stains. The Refiner's Role: Heating: The refiner heats silver and gold to bring impurities to the surface. In Christian life, this is likened to God "turning up the heat," revealing impurities. Separation: Impurities are separated, skimmed, and removed. Saved individuals must separate themselves from sin, requiring God's help. The devil tempts with things that appear "shiny," but one must remain steadfast in faith. Patience and Observation: The refiner carefully monitors the process to prevent damage to the metal. God is patient, dealing with individuals to ensure they are not damaged during trials. Purification: Fire refines gold and silver; God uses trials and challenges to purify His people, removing their sinful nature. God is present during trials, ensuring individuals are not alone in the "fire." God's Constant Presence and Faith Trust in God is essential during trials and tribulations, strengthening faith. The refining process involves God removing impurities. Recognizing Completion: A refiner knows the process is complete when they can see their reflection in the refined metal. God considers the process complete when He sees His Son (Jesus) reflected in an individual. Even during tribulations and trials, God is always present. Turning away from God requires a greater effort to return. Stepping away from God requires walking "20 miles away and 60 back to Him." God bought individuals with a precious price, and they should not disregard His sacrifice. Personal Struggles and Reliance on God Acknowledges the need for ongoing refinement by God to remove impurities. Expresses a desire to maintain a "clean slate" with God, free from accumulated sin. Shares past experiences of facing challenges and relying on God's support. There was a time of praying to God, asking "which devil am I going to meet tonight?" The refiner (God) never encourages neglecting prayer, Bible reading, or church attendance. Personal experiences of being "melded" and "burnt" by preachers, requiring repentance and forgiveness. God's forgiveness leads to Him seeing Himself in the individual again. The Significance of Jesus Christ Every mention of "Jesus Christ" and the sight of a "bloody cross" evokes a sense of gratitude for the sacrifice made. No one but Jesus Christ could pay the debt of sin. Expresses a desire to avoid worldly actions and sins, preferring to face consequences in this life rather than in the afterlife.

Today we're diving into something that is transforming healthcare as we know it - why functional medicine isn't just a trend, but actually the future of healthcare. While conventional medicine often focuses on treating symptoms with medication, functional medicine seeks to uncover and address the root cause of disease. In this episode, we reveal why functional medicine is more than just theory - and how it's already changing lives for the better all over the world. They emphasize that testimonies are not the gospel itself but are powerful tools for pointing people to the gospel and encouraging others in their faith. They reflect on how simple faith can lead to profound spiritual truths and encourage parents, teachers, and those in children's ministry to continue planting seeds of the gospel. Sympathizer: Especially during times of loss. Personal anecdote about his "Papa" (grandfather) who was a best friend. Talked every day and prayed together. John 15:15 states: "Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you." Working Across Differences in Politics: "I can work with people, and still it goes back to what we were saying earlier. I can work with people and still disagree with them on things, but maybe I need to." - Scott SweitzerWe sit down with Scott Sweitzer—a longtime political consultant and entrepreneur whose journey bridges the worlds of politics and microbrewing. Scott shares how a simple night of beer tasting with friends led him to co-found a brewery, while continuing his 25-year career navigating the highs and lows of American politics. We talk about the powerful emotions that drive today's increasingly divided political arena, explore the complexities of building bridges across differences, and talk about how tribalism in both politics and everyday life can separate us—or bring us together. Scott also opens up about his approach to helping candidates connect authentically with voters through storytelling and reflects on the personal challenges of staying grounded and empathetic in a profession marked by skepticism and heated debate.Plus, we touch on the impact of social media, the importance of curiosity, and how skills from entrepreneurship and consulting translate to everyday relationships. Whether you're interested in leadership, emotional intelligence, or are just a curious soul, this conversation is packed with insights, laughs, and some practical advice—including a heartfelt reminder that failure is part of learning and growth. Here are our top three takeaways:Curiosity Opens Doors: Scott emphasized the power of asking questions and being curious, both for personal growth and bridging divides. Stepping outside our echo chambers and seeking different perspectives can reshape our understanding and foster empathy.Emotional Connection is Key: Whether it's a political campaign or launching a new product, Scott underscored the importance of building genuine emotional connections. People are far more likely to buy in—to ideas, products, or candidates—when they feel heard and understood.Failure is Part of the Process: Scott's advice for entrepreneurs? Be willing to fail—and most importantly, learn from those failures. Send us a textGUEST: TRAVIS ALLEN, Pastor, Grace Church (Greeley, CO)John MacArthur, one of the most influential pastors over the past 50+ years, entered heaven on July 14, 2025 after more than two years of health challenges, including heart, lung, and kidney problems.John, as he preferred to be called, pastored Grace Community Church in Los Angeles for 56 years, authored over 150 books, was heard around the world on Grace To You, the radio ministry that broadcasts his sermons, and led The Master's Seminary and University, along with a host of other ministries.Last week in part 1, Travis Allen of Grace Church in Greeley, CO joined us to discuss why MacArthur became the pastor-teacher he was, one that the theologically conservative side of Evangelicalism always looked to to see where he stood on a given issue.Travis graduated from The Master's Seminary, taught at Grace Community Church, was the managing director of Grace To You, and knew MacArthur personally over many years. In fact, Travis is marked by at least two qualities of John MacArthur—a “servant of the Word and the flock”. In other words, both have the highest confidence in Scripture and diligently attend to the believers they shepherd in their churches.Today in part 2, we'll discuss what made MacArthur forthright in the pulpit and yet gracious in person and why he was considered the last line of defense for the false teaching and compromising that always plagues the church. In the final segment, we'll hear an audio clip of when John MacArthur last appeared on this program and a few of the things for which he will long be remembered.--------------------------Last Interview on TCW with John MacArthur - “You Foolish [Evangelical Church], Who Has Bewitched You?” – Nov 2018Additional Links: John's Personal Testimony click on “Listen to John's Personal Testimony”Reflecting on Pastor John Phil Johnson and Mike Riccardi, July 20, 202550 Years at GracePastor John Describes Heaven

natural & regenerative musculoskeletal healing: https://www.georgekramermd.com/Episode Highlights[00:36] Freedom from Addiction and the Fight for the SoulAddiction, anxiety, and spiritual warfare can make people feel trapped and unseen. Many silently battle overwhelming darkness, believing healing is out of reach.Tommy Doyle, International Director of Uncharted Ministries, knows this struggle firsthand.[03:21] Tommy: “We have so many good friends and so many ministry partners over there, that that's just really where our heart was, and we were part of another ministry before that that we loved dearly, so many great people and everything.”Once bound by addiction and anxiety, Tommy now leads missions that bring healing and hope across the Middle East.[05:26] Ministry Work in the Middle EastTommy describes Uncharted Ministries' work across war-torn regions of the Middle East.He recalls visiting the Gaza Strip a month after a major attack, wearing flak jackets and traveling with armed EMTs.Despite the chaos, they shared comfort and reminded hurting communities that they are not forgotten.Through every mission, Tommy emphasizes the power of showing up and bringing the love of Christ.[12:19] Personal Testimony and Early LifeTommy grew up in a large Christian family, deeply involved in church life as a pastor's kid.Despite strong early faith, he experienced rejection and betrayal from peers in church leadership. That emotional wound led him to pull away and seek belonging in sports and party culture. This shift laid the groundwork for his eventual descent into substance use and spiritual drift.[24:23] Struggles with Addiction and Turning PointTommy began justifying casual partying, which escalated into drug dealing and daily alcohol use.A raid by federal agents became a wake-up call, but the pull of addiction remained strong.Panic attacks worsened his condition, and alcohol became his go-to form of self-medication.Despite several attempts to quit, nothing brought lasting freedom—until he cried out to God.[26:42] Egypt Mission Trip and Spiritual AwakeningTommy joined a mission trip to Egypt to support his mother's outreach to Muslim women. While caring for children there, he was struck by a deep conviction to return to a life of purpose. That moment reignited his faith, shifted his focus, and set him on a path of full sobriety. He returned home and committed to healing through a Christ-centered Celebrate Recovery program.[36:11] Supernatural Encounter in EgyptDuring a foot-washing ceremony, Tommy witnessed a woman visibly possessed and delivered through the name of Jesus.[39:47] Tommy: “Every time that something dark and scary would happen, witnessed by other people too, the power of the name of Jesus was enough to eradicate it and, and that's just so life-giving.”Later that night, he and his brother encountered a terrifying demonic presence outside their desert compound.Prayer in Jesus' name broke the oppression, revealing that when the demonic and divine encounter each other, the authority of Christ prevails over darkness. These spiritual battles confirmed the reality of unseen warfare—and the power believers carry.[47:49] Territorial Spirits and the Battle Over RegionsTommy and Reagan reflect on how demonic strongholds operate not just personally, but over entire regions. In spiritually charged areas like the Middle East, the Enemy fiercely resists gospel work.Tommy shares how even Bible translation efforts in unreached areas face constant spiritual interference.Yet through it all, God's power continues to break ground where darkness has long ruled.[52:45] The Link Between Medication and AddictionTommy discusses the role anti-anxiety medication played in intensifying his alcohol cravings. He noticed his dependence on alcohol spiked after starting an SSRI prescribed for panic attacks. This connection led him to research and ultimately discontinue the medication after his spiritual breakthrough. He encourages others to evaluate their health journeys prayerfully and seek Spirit-led guidance.[58:39] Advice for Overcoming Addiction and AnxietyTommy urges listeners to admit powerlessness and seek a divine encounter with Jesus as the first step to healing.By trusting Him, we take a faithful path to healing. He shares practical advice for managing anxiety, including diet, outdoor activity, and community support.Accountability and honesty are key—especially with trusted friends and family.Above all, he emphasizes that true freedom from addiction and fear comes through Christ alone.[1:03:43] Tommy: “I did not need a foreign substance to be happy and enjoy life. And that's such a lie if, if that's holding you back, reconnect with the Lord.”[1:05:52] Living Free From Darkness to Purpose in ChristTommy reminds listeners that surrender is not weakness but the beginning of real strength. He shares how 2 Timothy 1:7 has anchored him through fear and addiction.God's healing is available to anyone ready to leave darkness and walk into His light.Learn more about Tommy's work through Uncharted Ministries and Uncharted Adventures at unchartedministries.com.About Tommy DoyleTommy Doyle is a missionary leader, speaker, and redeemed overcomer called to bring light into the darkest places. DOWNLOAD KEYNOTE SLIDES Summary of “Legacy of Love” (Generated by OpenAI) by Pastor Bryan Hudson, DMin, New Covenant Church In his message “Legacy of Love,” Dr. Bryan Hudson explores the biblical and personal dimensions of legacy, emphasizing that true legacy is not about fame, wealth, or status, but about love, service, and influence. Centering on 1 Corinthians 16:13–14, he urges listeners to be vigilant, courageous, strong, and above all, to do everything with love. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, (NLT), Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love. Key Themes: Definition of Legacy Legacy is what we leave behind—not only after death, but also while living. It includes tangible things like wealth or memorials, but more importantly, spiritual, moral, and relational influence—values passed on to others. Legacy in Action Dr. Hudson shares a clip from the late Congressman John Lewis, who framed legacy as living boldly, pursuing justice, and building a beloved community. Lewis modeled how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy of love and nonviolence shaped future generations. Legacy as Service and Sacrifice Using Matthew 20:20–23, Hudson contrasts selfish ambition with Christ's model of servant leadership. The disciples' mother sought honor for her sons, but Jesus taught that legacy comes through drinking the “cup” of sacrifice—suffering for love's sake, not seeking positions of prestige. Understanding Suffering Suffering, in biblical terms, is not just physical pain but includes: Resisting temptations we've been delivered from. Maintaining integrity under pressure. Loving and serving others even when it's difficult. Hudson teaches that suffering refines us—perfecting, establishing, strengthening, and settling us (1 Peter 5:10). Personal Testimony and Media Camp He recounts how his Media Camp for youth, launched in 2000, began as a response to a complaint about negative media. God challenged him: “What are you going to do about it?” That led to years of impact, mentoring youth in media and life. Legacy of Family and Example Dr. Hudson honors the legacy of his father and his wife's father, noting how they passed down a life of service. He likens legacy to footprints in the sand—temporary, but they reveal a path for others to follow. Even when the prints fade, the direction remains. Living the Legacy He concludes by encouraging everyone—especially fathers and father-figures—to live out a legacy of love. This legacy isn't self-manufactured; it's manifested by walking in God's light. We don't have to strive for greatness—we need only walk in love and obedience. Confession of Faith: By the grace of God, I will stand firm in the faith, I will be courageous and strong. But most of all, everything I do will be done through Love. No self service, no selfish ambition, only God's purposes fulfilled by Grace. Whatever my station in life, may the Lord continue to let my feet be planted in his path. I will live the legacy, my father, mother, grandparents, and all the people in my family and in life have helped to show me the way forward. I'll take nothing for granted and never fail to give praise to God and thanks to people. Christ has brought me into a place of undeserved privilege where I now stand, and I will confidently joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory with others. Conclusion: Legacy of Love challenges us to live intentionally, to love sacrificially, and to serve faithfully. It's not about being remembered, but about leaving a meaningful path others can follow—empowered by God's grace and rooted in love.
