«Für äusseren Frieden braucht es zuerst inneren Frieden», heisst es im Ranft. Wie aber finde ich zu innerer Ruhe, Stille und gar Frieden? Im Ranft – bekannt durch Bruder Klaus – führen verschiedene Wege dorthin: interreligiöse Meditation, Schweigeseminare, Yoga, Wandern-in-Stille, Friedensgebete. In der Ranftschlucht bei Flüeli OW kommt vieles zusammen: Mächtige Natur, das Brausen des Bergbachs Melchaa, gotische Kirchlein und die Klause vom Schweizer Nationalheiligen Bruder Klaus. Das zieht Stille-Suchende unterschiedlichster Couleur an: von naturreligiösen bis zu traditionell katholischen Menschen. Seit rund 600 Jahren, seit Bruder Klaus hier als Einsiedler Menschen beriet, ist der Ranft auch ein Hotspot politischer Friedensbewegungen. In den 1980ern etwa unterstützten die Dorotheaschwestern den Bau eines Friedensdorfs durch die katholische Jugend. Sie nahmen in Flüeli Asylsuchende auf. Das Areal der Schwestern ist heute ein unabhängiges Mediationszentrum: Als «ZentrumRanft» ist es offen für interreligiöses Meditieren, für Stille- und Selbstfindungsseminare wie auch Yoga-Retreats. An den «Ranfter Gesprächen» sprechen Menschen über Spiritualität als Ressource für nachhaltige Umwelt- und Friedenssicherung. Lassen sich im Ranft tatsächlich Stille und Frieden finden? Was macht die Mystik dieses «Kraftorts» aus? In ihrer Reportage begegnete Judith Wipfler Menschen, mit denen sie hier gar nicht gerechnet hätte. In dieser Woche hatte dort der Kreiswahlausschuss des Landkreises Friesland beschlossen, den AfD-Bundestagsabgeordneten Martin Sichert nicht zur Wahl zum Landrat zuzulassen. Gleichzeitig rügen die UN den deutschen Umgang mit unliebsamen politischen Meinungen. Der Extremismusbegriff des Verfassungsschutzes sei zu unbestimmt und könne auch gewaltfreie, nicht strafbare Äußerungen erfassen. Und auch die EU stellt Deutschland bei Pressefreiheit, Informationsrechten und Korruptionsbekämpfung ein miserables Zeugnis aus.
