These podcasts are the full audios from Walter's video Bible messages requested by those who want to listen when they cannot watch.
The first two are 1) False Teachers/Prophets from the Garden of Eden to pulpits in churches today 2) Internet/Social Media - this part will be too convicting for most Christians!
Studying the appearances and teachings us Jesus during His last 40 days on earth.
Forty Days of Jesus' Appearances and Interactions from His Resurrection to Ascension
Last week I introduced this message teaching the origin of deception and, more importantly, the one who brought it into our world through the deception of Eve. In this message, I challenge all of us to examine deception through our own eyes. You may be surprised at what you learn.
Listen to this powerful message on how satan still works in our world today
Tonight I finish this series with the final three action verbs Jesus gave His disciples...all for the purpose of demonstrating we are truly born-again.
In the Christian church today, you would be hard-pressedto find someone who does not agree with the statement, “we need revival in our nation”. The question is where andhow will it begin? Listen to Walter's message to find answers to that question.
Last week we looked at the action verb LOVE, the five LOVES Jesus commanded us to share. This message examines the most difficult of all Christ's commands...DIE! What did He mean? Listen to this message and find out.
Jesus wants "living proof" that those who say they are Christians are truly born-again
So much unnecessary confusion about Christianity in our world today. We know satan is at the root of it, deceiving and lying. Jesus wants to see proof of our claims that we are born-again, not just hear words....
The world is dependent on water for existence. In ancient times, inland regions were completely dependent upon them. Some areas in the world today still are. This message looks at three wells, the condition of the water within, and the wells of our souls.
A Gospel message from the shore of some of God's best handiwork
Thus far in this series we examined the progression of failure, the procession to success, and how asking God the right questions contributes to our success as Christians. Today we wrap up this series by making this very personal: How do you define success?
Two Questions that changed Saul/Paul's life forever: Who are You, Lord? What do You want me to do? The key is in how you answer them...
The Progression of Failure vs The Procession to Success
The Progression of Failure vs The Procession of Success
Two reasons to watch this message. First if you are born again in Christ, you have this Holy Spirit power in and with you at all times always! Are you living like this is true? Second, if you are lost and hopeless apart from a relationship with Jesus, I share with you how your life can be changed forever in a moment! Let 2025 be the year of your new life in Jesus.
Ten Key Points from Scripture that answer the questions, Why, Who, When, Where, and What concerning Jesus the Christ.
The Condition of Mankind The Rise and Destruction of Israel The World Powers up to and at the time of Christ
Last week we began a new series for this season of Advent. In Part 1, we examined the God's perfect plan, satan's plan to destroy mankind, and the Promise of God to send a Seed to save mankind. The latter is called the protoevangelium (Genesis 3:15). This week we study some of the key prophecies spoken thousands to hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus.
A Five-Week Series to Explain Jesus as the Only Reason for the Season Part One: God's Plan...satan's plan..the fall of mankind
Public Enemy No.1 series was written to help Christians, and many others in our chaotic, unstable world, answer the question, “What the hell is going on?” To date I described six characteristics of satan, our fiercest enemy, leader of all the demons who were angels expelled from Heaven when he was. This message brings all six to a head by asking Christians hard questions about your life and how you respond or if you are equipped to respond to his onslaughts.
Tempter. Deceiver. Accuser. Murderer. Liar. Those are five words that speak to the nature and character of our fiercest enemy we have examined in this series to date. This evening I am going to teach an updated message taught Sunday on P6 - THIEF. Jesus shared three great dangers this enemy can cause in the lives of Christians if we are unprepared to combat them.
How our fiercest enemy "killed all of us"!
Key Bible Verse: "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night." Revelation 12:10
Key Bible Verse: "Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Genesis 3:13
Key Bible Verse: "And the tempter came and said to (Jesus)..." Matthew 4:3a
Today we close this series by examining God's faithfulness to you and me. I am going to give three points and use parts of my own testimony only to show you what you must to do replace my story with yours. YOU MUST take time to recall and write down examples of God's great faithfulness to you throughout your life.
Why did the Israelites roam in the desert 40 years? Why wasn't Moses allowed to enter the Promised Land after all those years with millions of whining, complaining Jews? The faithfulness of God is always on display.
From Fugitive Murderer to Deliverer
From condemned Hebrew baby to Prince of Egypt, the faithfulness of God is again on full display. Exodus 2:1-10
Key Bible Verse: "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive." Genesis 50:20
Last week I began this series by defining the word faithfulness and provided four synonyms that helped us understand it in the context of the attributes of God. We examined His faithfulness to mankind beginning with the sin of Adam/Eve. The second example came when God commanded Noah to build an ark. (Genesis 6:14) This week my focus was God's faithfulness to His chosen people, beginning with key events in the life of Abrahm provide the example in this message, including the hardest thing God ever asked a man to do besides Jesus.
Despite sin entering the world thru the disobedience of Adam and Eve, set up and deceived by satan our fierce enemy even still, God remained faithful to His promise. Good News for us is this: He remains faithful to those born-again in Christ. This message begins a new series to help bring biblical understanding of His faithfulness to those who have "ears to hear."
Last week I discusssed what it is like to go into real prisons to minister. But the main point of the message was to help you understand what I mean when I say "prisons without bars". This week we learn how we can be set free forever from our prisons that too often control our lives and harm ourselves.
I have been preaching and teaching inside prisons for many years. I know when I finish my time with the inmates, I can leave and they cannot. The difference is freedom to come and go as one pleases vs forfeited freedom based on bad decisions. While that ministry is challenging, perhaps an equally challenging one is helping people who have incarcerated themselves behind PRISONS WITHOUT BARS. This is P1 of my message.
from God our Father: Love. Protection. Provision. Forgiveness.
Series finale. We wrap this powerful and necessary series today examining worldviews, especially that which born-again Christians must have to live and love more like Jesus in our world that is desperate for hope.
Perhaps the most famous question of all time is when Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, "What is truth?" People today who deny the existence of God and biblical truth still grope around trying to find it. This message gives clear biblical answers.
This message provides answers to perhaps the most FAQ of all time.
This is the audio version from the third message in our series. Last week I hope His Word convinced you that God is the only and ultimate authority in the world He created. This messaage will encourage you to know how you came into this world - it was His intention; no random act of any kind. God loved and wanted you here with Him before you were even conceived. Listen and you will know with certainly.
Two weeks ago, we began this series with the premise: “Everyone is a believer.” Secularists, atheists, agnostics, and religious people. Everyone believes in something. We began by looking at three subject areas that form our belief systems and two results or outcomes: Existence. Purpose. Authority. Truth. Worldview. Last week we began the WHO We Beliecve part of this series by examining Authority: Who's in Charge? This message examines our Existence and answers the question, "How did we get here?"
Last week I began this new series by discussing WHAT you believe and how those belief sets form in your life. This message flips the script to look at Who we should believe from a totally biblical perspective. The focus on this message is Authority - Who's in Charge?
Everyone is a believer. My emphatic statement includes secularists, atheists, agnostics, and religious people. What people believe matters for all the reasons I am about to discuss in this message.
Key Bible Verse: "Now after (Jesus) had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons." Mark 16:9
Encourage Exhort Admonish Repent Call to Action Those are the five key words for this messsage. I pray the Holy Spirit uses them and this message to connect with your spirit, wherever you are.
How Christians Should Live in Our Post-Resurrection, Post-Modern World
Key Bible Verses: "For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. 1 Corinthians 15: 16-19
Key Bible Verse: "Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit." John 19:30
