On December 8th, 2022, Darrell Lee Clark and Cain Joshua Storey were exonerated and released from prison. As a result of the new evidence discovered during Season 1 of Proof, the Floyd County DA's Office agreed to dismiss their convictions. In this final episode of Season 1, the Proof team was there in Rome, GA to see both men walk free.
