Welcome to Talk of the Town, a new God-centered podcast designed for families. Our hosts, Mr. Nathan and Ms. Ashley, will take us through Bible stories with fun games, rabbit trails, and wiggle breaks. We hope to see you around Town!
We often only talk about the first six days of creation. On the seventh day, God showed us something really important: the need for rest. God set a pattern of working and resting. Let's learn more! Day 6 - On the sixth day of creation, God created people. Adam and Eve were the first people God created, and He made them in His own image. That makes us pretty special! People!
Day five of creation was a super busy day. God created all the birds in the sky and all of the fish in the sea. We could never truly count how many birds and fish there are, but God knows exactly how many birds there are in the sky and how many fish are in the sea.
During the first three days, God created and formed the light, water, and land. In this episode, we will learn about when God gave the light a job to do! We also have a job to do; we get to shine the light of Jesus on others!
Today, we're learning about when God created the land. The mountains, valleys, rocks, and hills are all part of God's beautiful creation and the foundation of the world. Jesus is the foundation of our faith! Let's dig in!

Joseph and his brothers constantly battled from a place of jealousy. At the end of their battle, however, we see a beautiful picture of reconciliation and forgiveness, arguably the most important part of any battle.
Did you know that even Jesus had to fight big battles? He faced multiple temptations from Satan, but Jesus won His big battle in a big way! He used God's Word to fight His way to victory.
People fight their own battles all the time, but Jacob had to fight a special one: he wrestled with God. After his unique battle, Jacob's name was changed to Israel, which meant, “wrestles with God."
