Introduced to us through our good friend and collaborator Jailan Williams, we were happy to connect with Charleston, South Carolina native and Indie artist Rebekah Faith this week on episode 257! We had a concise and intriguing convo about her humble start in music having been singing from a very early age. Rebekah told us about how she has maintained that love and how it has led her to work on a ton of music in recent years while also sharpening her skills within the live performing sector. As an artist who has performed many shows throughout her local area she has big plans to keep expanding and hopefully tour with other artists as well in the future. While Rebekah is crafting her next batch of solo material she also touched on the importance of collaboration and some of the people she's looking to connect with real soon. We thank Rebekah for joining us this week and to Jailan once again for getting us connected!Submit a demo track(s) for release consideration with Proven Knowledge! - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1l_h_XayHVqWIJHgTYyV5vGgThfRVEiBh8lw9SP8DrQw/viewform?edit_requested=trueConsider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here

Marlo discussed how his early beginnings in music and sports helped lead him towards a very active lifestyle. In recent years he tells us about his journey to help maintain balance in his day to day activities. This also includes being able to have time to himself in the evening which he uses to write and record new music. It has also allowed him to mold a brand new project slated to drop later this year that will feature an up to date look at where he is in life with mature and in depth story telling. With goals to keep elevating in his personal and professional life we really admire the work ethic and drive that Marlo puts into everything he does. For the second week straight we welcomed a South Carolina native to the show named VooDoo Child! As a producer and DJ with years of experience we enjoyed chopping it up with him about his love for the craft. He broke down the learning curve of his evolving production process having moved from older tools such as the ASR-10 to more modern software like Serato Sampler where he's caught a new energy in his output and productivity. This has allowed him to not only work on his own solo releases but also craft new music with the likes of his close collaborator K.H.A.O.$ whom he has an album with that should be out very soon. On the DJing side VooDoo Child shared the love he has for being able to create a truly meaningful and memorable experience for the clients who hire him for events. You could really tell how much it means to him to be able to bring joy to people through his love for many genres of music and we think that says a lot about the integrity he has for what he does. Thanks to him for joining us and for the hard work he's continuing to push himself to new heights at each step of his journey!Submit a demo track(s) for release consideration with Proven Knowledge! - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1l_h_XayHVqWIJHgTYyV5vGgThfRVEiBh8lw9SP8DrQw/viewform?edit_requested=trueConsider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here
This week we were joined by South Carolina artist and producer Christou DaKeeng! Christou had a lot to offer the conversation starting with his beginnings growing up in the church and how that led him to a love for performing. His blend of singing and rapping developed from his poems and other artists who have inspired him over the years such as Ludacris and Michael Jackson. With music being such a constant in his life Christou has stuck with it over time and the results have paid off in big ways including a plethora of releases. He discussed his plan to continue to release on a consistent basis as well as his future hopes to develop more up and coming artists to help launch their careers to new heights. We appreciated the positive outlook and motto that Christou brought in his message. We hope it inspires you in the same way! Caspa Clark has seen many sides to his incredible journey. This applies to both music and his life as a whole and he joined the podcast with us this week to discuss what's led him to the point he's at today! In reflecting on his upbringing he described the challenges of leaving a difficult situation in his home state of Rhode Island. He told us about how he traveled the country with sometimes only a guitar by his side and how music had always continued to be a constant guiding point over the years that helped him in many ways. In recent years the now Virginia based artist told us about his appreciation for the growth he's seen creatively, his family and the balance he's finding for himself each and every day along the way. Caspa Clark plans to keep a consistent run of new releases going each Friday throughout the rest of the year so be on the lookout and if you're in search of a nice boost of inspiration then you've come to the right place this week! This week on episode 251 I decided to take the solo route and do a sort of catch up episode for the first time in a couple years! Having a gap between guest appearances I decided to use this week as an opportunity to check in with the listeners and give a little more info about the state of my journey where it currently stands. I touched on the concept behind my upcoming Instrumental album “When Loves The Motive” as well as the next project I'll be releasing in the second half of the year. I also previewed what's to come from Proven Knowledge as a brand and collective including artist releases that we will be rolling out very soon! I'm very thrilled for where the show and surrounding content is heading and can't wait to share it all with you real soon! We'll be back next week as well picking things up with another amazing guest on episode 252!Submit a demo track(s) for release consideration with Proven Knowledge! - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1l_h_XayHVqWIJHgTYyV5vGgThfRVEiBh8lw9SP8DrQw/viewform?edit_requested=trueTune into Anthony's Twitch stream every Tuesday at 6PM eastern time for in depth content ideas, strategies, music tips and more!
For episode 250 we had a really cool chat with midwest MC Jarmar Green! With an extensive track record as both a solo artist and as a band member in the past, we really loved Jarmar's perspective on his own evolution as a music maker. He discussed the learning curve of transitioning from the world of Heavy Metal to Hip-Hop around 2016 and some of the people who helped make things a lot more seamless. We touched on the progression he's seen in himself within his song creating process and how he was able to channel the right energy needed to craft his most recent body of work titled “Backends” that was released in January. The main message we were able to take from this episode is the importance of seeing your own vision though at each stage and leaning into what you want to do as an individual with your art. This is something we feel Jarmar is doing very well and we're thrilled to witness where it takes him from here!Submit a demo track(s) for release consideration with Proven Knowledge! - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1l_h_XayHVqWIJHgTYyV5vGgThfRVEiBh8lw9SP8DrQw/viewform?edit_requested=trueTune into Anthony's Twitch stream every Tuesday at 6PM eastern time for in depth content ideas, strategies, music tips and more!
On this week's part 2 edition of the podcast we had the pleasure of welcoming back London based singer/songwriter Leon DC to the show! Leon initially spoke with us in 2023 and it was great to catch up with him after a 2024 that saw him elevate to new heights creatively. He discussed the run of new music he's dropped over the past year and the songs he has in store for the rest of 2025. Leon also touched on the importance of incorporating visuals into his work and how editing a lot of them on his own has helped him to learn and perfect other creative skills. We touched on the consistency he's found as he's begun to dedicate more time to his craft which has allowed him to meet incredible collaborators, perform live shows and overall keep doing what he's passionate about which we think is the best part of it all. A guest we were super happy to welcome back this week is our close collaborator Soma79! This week we got a chance to catch up about a multitude of topics beginning with our upcoming album “Zero For The Day” that's in the works. Soma gave us a snapshot of what it's been like from their perspective crafting the project and how the stories told on the album also helped in the process of their other recent release “One Bill Trill”. They discussed being able to film some awesome visuals for some of the more personal records including “Please Shut Me Up” which took an interesting route for the song's topic matter. They also let us know about 3 different podcasts currently in the works that are all very interesting concepts that capture different aspects of music and life while helping to build community through conversations. After our initial conversation of his show the Grind Music Repeat podcast we were able to return the favor this week by welcoming DraQuan to the show! This was a super inspiring conversation as Dra provided a ton of introspective takes. Reflecting on his music journey he described what he learned from influences like Mary J. Blige growing up and how the last 9 years of his artist career have been used to help refine and sharpen his craft. We dove into what went into the decision to create the Grind Music Repeat podcast and what he's been able to learn through having many inspiring conversations with different creatives. We loved his ability to self reflect on how far he's come so far and what he has planned moving forward. 3 years ago we had an awesome discussion with Toledo artist Defonix and were very happy to welcome him back for part 2 this week! This one was nothing short of inspiring as we caught up about all of the twists and turns he's encountered since our first discussion. Fresh off his 2024 album “Mirror” he described the project's theme coming from not only his own self reflection but also in his empathy for others. Following some personal setbacks he talked about being able to use his music as a positive outlet to keep going and inspire others in the process which is always something to strive for. In 2025 he plans to keep the work going with new music and visuals on the horizon as well as plans to continue collaborating with others. We had the pleasure of welcoming AJ Snow to the show this week who is an artist we've been keeping up with since 2022! After discovering his work through his collabs with producer Jansport J and being a fan of his sound we knew we would have a lot to discuss on this one. AJ told us about what his move to L.A. has been like and how the initial setbacks he faced have eventually led him to a new avenue to prosper and carve out his own lane. This has been done thanks to a consistent run of work not only with Jansport J (“No Awards For The Real” and “Let's Get Rich”) but also two albums in 2024 (“The Game Don't Deserve Me” and “What The Game Been Missing”). We also dove into the story behind his brand and collective Made By OGs which was originally inspired by his love for thrifting. AJ also has big plans this year with new merch, music and a continued pursuit of improving his craft which will be exciting to see unfold. For the first time since 2023 we welcomed back songwriter and artist YawnyBlew to the podcast! Having gone through a lot of changes in life and his career since our first discussion it was nice to catch up with him about it all this week. After moving from L.A. back to his home in New York he described shifting away from his traditional role as a songwriter who primarily had written in songwriting camps for other artists. This transition allowed him to focus more on his own solo work with fellow collaborator amir resulting in their late 2024 offering “Bouncy ‘n' Pretty”. He also described the project peaking interest in sync opportunities through a sync agency and how he aims to keep sync in mind moving forward in his song creation process. Having also recently begun work with Meta in the music and content sectors he discussed what the opportunity has meant to him by providing a chance to expand his views on how he can help and give back to other creative careers. With a couple of podcast shows also in his arsenal it was very inspiring to hear all the ways that YawnyBlew has been staying active and productive!Tune into Anthony's Twitch stream every Tuesday at 6PM eastern time for in depth content ideas, strategies, music tips and more!
Chris Mohead has always approached his artistry through two lenses both as a rapper and a filmmaker. This week he joined us on episode 241 to discuss some of his journey and a little of what the world looks like from his perspective! In music Chris described starting his own studio to write and record his works in his home state of South Carolina which has helped provide him with the space necessary to create without boundaries. This is where his most recent body of work “Derado” was crafted and where he plans to keep making new projects moving forward. As a director and actor Chris can reach another audience and also unlock another side of his creative nature. We were able to discuss some of his influences and some of the movies and TV shows he's been a fan of over the last several years as well. It was cool to discuss a different medium that we don't always get to touch on here on the podcast and we appreciate Chris for giving us more insight on that perspective. We welcome him to come back anytime and wish him nothing but success in all of his work in the future!Tune into Anthony's Twitch stream every Tuesday at 6PM eastern time for in depth content ideas, strategies, music tips and more!
We've been able to connect with some very talented people using Threads and one of those individuals is Detroit soul singer Angela Davis! We started off by covering some of her early influences growing up in music and what led her to the soulful side of her sound that she harnesses to this day. Angela touched on the contrast of singing solo versus what it's like performing in different bands and groups she's been a part of over the years. As an artist with an extensive amount of live performing experience she also told me what it means to be able to feel an audience's energy in both big and small venues. Angela also already has a run of events in the local area lined up as well as more new music she plans to release later this year. Thanks to our friend Dom we were able to have a cool conversation this week with Folk artist Daniel Keiser! As an artist with a lot to give through different means of expression we had a great time chatting with him about what he accomplished this past year. Primarily he described the recording and writing process for his band's latest offering titled “Miles” in which he also worked one on one with a poet to help craft the project's theme and narrative. This process also has helped in the crafting of their next album slated for a release in the next couple of months. On another creative endeavor Daniel is also a published author having written several children's stories which we thought was very cool. He talked about what writing books has done for him as another way to give back to others and to help inspire the next generation through thoughtful tales and life lessons alike. As many young R&B acts continue to impress in the ever changing landscape one of our favorites is Austin, Texas native Terrence Léon. This week we had him on the show to discuss a wide variety of topics starting with his most recent project titled “Amorous”. Similar to recent artists we've talked with he told us how creating an alternate version of the album helped him to push it to a wider audience and experiment with different genres. He told us more about the Austin music scene and what his approach has been to pursing a career especially over the consistent run he's been on since 2019. Terrence also revealed his plans for a 2025 album that will be an even deeper dive into his soulful sound and definitely has us excited to check it out when it releases! Getting to collaborate and work with Vancouver based artist Tae has been such an awesome experience over the past couple of years and we always manage to stay in touch and support one another's work! This week we reconnected for her part two episode to talk about how her music has evolved especially since the first episode we recorded. She discussed being able to produce more of her own works such as her latest single “All” as well as revealing that she has a new project in the works coming very soon. We also got to talk about what it was like for her to be a part of the 2023 Proven Knowledge album “Forms of Escapism” and her contributions to the tracks “Faith” and “Really Luv U”. We enjoyed getting to hear how the process was for her and how she helped us take both of those songs to even greater heights. This past spring we received a follow from The Beatcast which serves as a weekly sample challenge and tight knit community of awesome producers and creatives from around the globe. We had the chance to participate in several sample challenges towards the end of their 4th season and really enjoyed the experience. So in turn we reached out to The Beatcast's founder Ill Al to be on the podcast and have a deeper dive into the platform and his own background in music as well! He told us about his beginnings as an MC in the Phoenix, Arizona music scene and how his love for both Rock and Hip-Hop started his path towards music production in the late 90's and early 2000's. Having those experiences led Al towards merging the two worlds in his own unique way years later around the time of the pandemic when The Beatcast came into existence. He gave shoutouts to the other members of the platform and also provided his vision for where he sees it heading in the future with more events to help expand its potential and provide opportunities to more people. We're grateful to have come across what Al and the rest of the team over there are doing and are thrilled to keep participating in the upcoming seasons of the sample challenge! If you're a producer looking to be involved in an awesome group with fellow beat makers be sure to tap in with what Al has going on!Tune into Anthony's Twitch stream every Tuesday at 6PM eastern time for in depth content ideas, strategies, music tips and more!
On this week's catch up episode we had the chance to reconnect with California native and music producer Jay B who first appeared on the show in 2021! Jay dialed in from the infamous Chalice recording studio in LA in between sessions to have a cool chat about what the last couple years have been like and especially what he's been through this year in 2024. Having recently lost someone quite close to him he discussed what he's learned about his own mortality and how he's been able to keep pushing and growing through the tough times. After officially signing to his cousin Hit-Boy's Surf Club imprint he also has had a ton of new opportunities coming his way on the music side. He revealed new tracks with artists like Denzel Curry that will be coming soon and gave a clear picture of what people can expect from him as he doubles down on collaborations and networking. We're thankful for Jay B's willingness to share about his ups and downs and we have no doubt he will keep achieving incredible things as a creative. For episode 223 this week we had the chance to speak with U.K. based artist Harrison Jay who came my way via his connection with our friend Dom! Harrison had a very inspiring conversation with us and we covered an array of topics starting with his life long love for music. As someone who grew up not only singing but playing instruments he described falling in love with the process which eventually led him on the pursuit of being an artist around 2019. He described what he learned about music production during his college years and the skills he's taken into his own work as someone who is fully self produced. Among those recent releases are the singles “Mount Kilimanjaro” and “Robotic” which he detailed as two unique experiences to put together. Harrison also told us how he aims to take a trip to the real Mount Kilimanjaro next summer with a charity group which we think will be an awesome full circle moment for him! We love Harrison's enthusiasm and work ethic for what he believes in and we also respect him for sharing a lot of other cool gems on this one especially for independent artists out there. For the first time in a couple years we were able to catch-up with songwriter, vocalist and newly found producer Giavonna! We've managed to stay in touch via Instagram since our initial chat and we were thrilled when she agreed to come back on this week for episode 222. We talked about her most recent solo works including the single “All Your Fault” in which she has been able to release multiple remixes for within different genres to help expand the songs reach. She also updated us on her journey in sync while still song writing with other artists both in North Carolina and beyond. Additionally she touched on being able to learn music production and how she plans to carry the skill into her work moving forward which we think is very exciting. As someone who is close friends with MYNA we were intrigued to know more about her story and really enjoyed hearing what it's been like to craft the unique sound she's been able to achieve so far as an artist. We discussed her most recent project “Luv 4 My Enemies” and how she was able to showcase different styles and textures within the album that represent her love for musicality and diversity. Elle also described learning things on the technical side having worked with many producers and engineers alike which has helped her to have a better understanding of what she wants to achieve with each new song she creates and ultimately allows for better execution in the studio. She also let us know about the deluxe version of “Luv 4 My Enemies” which has dropped since we recorded the episode and you'll definitely wanna give that a spin afterwards! On episode 220 another one of our friend Dom's connections Trell Brooks joined us for a great discussion! Trell is an MC based in North Carolina with a keen ear for music and a sharp lyrical ability. We loved getting to learn more about his story having not met him until the interview! He described for us his upbringing being involved in band where he learned to play several instruments as well as his background with poetry and writing in general. It was these two things that helped lead him towards the life of being an artist in more recent times. We touched on some of the singles he's dropped over the last couple years and what his next full body of work will have in store as he aims to provide a true and meaningful message for listeners. We also really enjoyed hearing about his long term goals not only as an artist but ways he aims to give back and help his community all of which he's putting into practice each and every day in the present. Trell has an amazing outlook on life and we always feel anyone with that kind of perseverance and passion is bound to have continued success moving forward! Big thanks goes out to him for his time to share this week!Tune into Anthony's Twitch stream every Tuesday at 6PM eastern time for in depth content ideas, strategies, music tips and more!
This week we had the pleasure of speaking with New York MCs and twin brothers 2wiin Kingz whom we got in touch with through our friend Dom! Before even meeting them we could tell in their music that they shared a passion for the craft through story telling and a hungry mentality that their songs portray so we were excited to get to know more about what has led them to this point! With just over 20 years of experience the two described the different changes they've seen and overcome within the industry including the shift in how music is consumed through streaming. Staying on that topic we also discussed how artists can use direct to consumer methods to reach fans while also generating a better return on investment in their work. We loved hearing about the process behind their latest album “It's Funny How Life Is” and what fans can expect as they craft their next project slated currently for early 2025. It was also very cool to just discuss Hip-Hop in general with two guys doing amazing work and we're really thankful we got to have this sit down! The Humble Elder is a multifaceted artist from the DMV area whom we began working with last summer on a lot of music behind the scenes! We had the idea of having him join us this week on the podcast to discuss more about what his journey in music has looked like from an early age until now. With a background in the church his family had their own musical abilities and tastes which helped inspire him to pursue his individual path towards being an artist. We loved hearing more about his writing process and how he prefers to delegate certain tasks such as production and engineering to people he entrusts with his vision as opposed to always doing everything on his own. A big goal of his is being able to write music for others in the future whether it be for fellow independent artists, movies or other creative works where he can flex his song crafting skills. He also let us know about what could be next in the cards for him release wise including a few of the tracks we've been working on together which we're super excited about! We're happy to be collaborating with The Humble Elder and thank him for joining us on the show for this cool convo!Consider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here
Following an appearance earlier this summer on the Audio Junkyxrd podcast we were able to return the favor by welcoming its host Ashōka to the show! We discussed the different parallels between music production and the gaming world and how she's found love in both so much so that her name was originally derived from her gamer tag early on. She told us about her love for the guitar and how honing her skills with it has allowed her to enter the loop making market and push sounds to other creatives through her website and social media. Ashōka also gave more insight on the backstory behind Audio Junkyxrd and where she aims to take the platform in the future as a central hub for different producers around the world. We really love what she's done to give back to the community and help others all while still maintaining the different aspects of her personal life. We're grateful she was down to connect once again this week and are very excited to see what other future collaborations might be in store for us as well!Consider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here

We were introduced to Dexter through Vianca Mireya who always sends us amazing music makers, she definitely did so once more as we had an awesome conversation! He discussed what the last 3-4 years have meant to him being able to sharpen his songwriting and recording abilities. Having been in studios with the likes of Bizness Boi as well as other talented artists and producers, he described how he's taken each interaction as a learning experience to ultimately get better all of which continues to pay off in his favor. He touched on why he's chosen to keep a consistent flow of single releases going as well as what could be the next moves for him that people can expect very soon. We think that when hearing his music Dexter's talent speaks for itself but being able to hear his personality through this interview definitely gave us a look as to what makes him the artist he's become. We appreciate Vianca for connecting us and for Dexter taking the time to join the show!Consider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here

This week he joined us on episode 214 of the podcast to not only discuss Lost Boy Radio but also his own journey as an artist! As a Nigerian born citizen Sani moved to Amsterdam for university and ended up staying in the city which he describes as one of the best decisions he's made. He talked about the people he's connected with and those who have helped inspire him in his song writing especially in the last several years since taking things seriously around 2018. We've stayed connected via Instagram and have supported one another's work throughout the past few years so it was great to have our first real conversation with him on episode 213! Firstly he described what led to his decision to move to the music city and the different experiences he's learned while in college and pursuing his goals as an artist. He talked about his dad and others around him giving words of encouragement to work hard at his craft and the improvement he's seen since the beginning has been no secret. We also discussed his 2023 project called “Yes, Life Is Hype” in which he was able to embody the overall theme of his artistry which is to push good energy as much as possible. On episode 212 we welcomed an awesome producer from Florida named Ezi Bear! After receiving an Instagram follow from her a few months back we were very impressed with the quality of work she was putting up on social media and wanted to extend the opportunity to get her on the show. We made it happen this week and had a cool discussion about what music making has given her through creating an outlet of self expression. She talked about her process creating beats with the SP-404 and some of her influences like Kaytranada who helped her in the process of finding her own sound. Building through her YouTube channel she discussed how content creation including vlogs and behind the beat videos have benefited her to reach new listeners and find other producers to start working with as well. Ezi Bear is not only a very talented music maker but also a super down to earth person grounded in her work. We anticipate future collaborations and will be keeping an ear out for her next project(s) on the horizon! Consider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here
Returning on episode 211 is Detroit native and former guest from episode 80 MYNA! Having since moved to Miami from the Midwest it was nice to be able to have a quick chat with her about what she's been up to since our first discussion in late 2021. This discussion had a lot of twists and turns as she described some of the recent challenges she's encountered not only as an artist but in her personal life as she finds herself in a new city with an ever changing climate for those looking to be in the creative field. She told us about some of the people she's been able to meet and work with since arriving in south Florida and how that support system has meant so much towards her continuing on and pushing through the tough times. While beginning to produce her own music she talked about the boundaries she's pushing in her own sound as she aims to keep carving out a unique lane through trial and error. This will eventually come to fruition in her next album that's currently in the works. We think you as the listener will get a sense of the real and raw emotion that came across during this interview and our hope is that you'll take away some points about the struggles we all can face in life while still having to keep ourselves grounded in what our true purpose is. That's something MYNA has done despite all she's been through and we're very thankful for her taking the time to join us for this discussion! DAYSH is a stellar UK artist whom we discovered through hearing her awesome track “Informer” last year! We've stayed in touch with her since then and this week we had our first real conversation on episode 210! DAYSH gave some background into her early years of creating music with a close friend and how it eventually set her on a path towards being an artist around the time that she began college. She gave the backstory on “Informer” and the real life events that she went through to be able to write the kind of song it turned out to be. During this time she also created more material some of which is still unreleased and she let us know when fans can start to expect those as well as some other surprises very soon. On episode 209 we begin a small run of UK artists and kicking it off is our long awaited discussion with singer / songwriter Cyan! We've been a big fan of Cyan's work for the last several years and have been waiting to get her on the show for quite some time which we're happy was finally able to come to fruition! We loved getting to talk about her 2023 project “The Butterflies Died” which was one of our favorite EP's from an independent artist last year. She told the stories behind some of the studio sessions and how certain happy accidents led to some of the project's greatest moments. She also described how she's been channeling her life experiences through travel and day to day activities into her creative side which has allowed her to keep innovating as she crafts her next batch of new material. Her message of intention and creating a purpose for herself through music really shine through in this discussion and we know you'll be able to take some key elements with you by the end of it. Thanks again to Cyan for making this happen and we're thrilled to see where this journey will take her next! Consider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here
This week we brought back another Midwest native and former guest of the show Jae Maurice! After our initial connection through our friend J. Foster we loved getting to sit down with him again to see what he's been up to. While still residing in Chicago he talked about the different ups and downs he's experienced as an artist the past couple years. He described these moments as the catalyst behind his latest EP “Survivors Guilt” where he was able to shed different layers of vulnerability and take a more introspective approach in topic matter. The project was also brought to life with the help of some great online collaborators who contributed their efforts to a few of the tracks. The biggest point made in this episode to us was being able to constantly evolve and grow as an individual through your art and the importance that can and has held for someone like Jae. We thank him again for joining us and definitely encourage everyone to check out the EP after the episode! Consider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here
Returning this week from his initial appearance on episode 108 is R&B artist Reesie Woods! In 2022 Reesie had discussed with us about moving from his hometown of Gary, Indiana to Atlanta and on this episode he explained why he's now deciding to move back to the Chicagoland area. He described his time in Atlanta as a learning experience but one he feels he can take away a lot of positive things from moving forward. On the music side he talked about being able to retain his independence even after a label meeting in the city that was a first of its kind experience for him. While doing this he released not only his album “Ego Off. Soul On.” but also his latest single “Blackberry” in which he accompanied with a chopped and screwed version earlier this year. While he's currently crafting his next release he's in no rush as he continues to stay true to himself and his voice each and every day of his journey which we admire a lot. We always welcome Reesie to come back on the show again and always appreciate him for lending some of his time! Consider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here
