Christians are gospel people. It is the very foundation of who we are and what we do. While Paul was sitting in a prison cell, he wrote to encourage the church at Philippi to remember the gospel and live worth of the gospel. We do this best when we look to Jesus and live with joy, unity, partnership in the gospel. This past Sunday we had guest speaker Matt Stewart preach out of John 13 for our congregation. He spoke about the humbleness of Christ, who took on the form of a servant. Jesus' washed the disciple's feet to give the ultimate example of putting yourself down, so others may be lifted up.

The book of Romans tells us three foundational truths concerning the gospel: 1) Everyone needs the gospel, 2) Believers need to be strengthened by the gospel, and 3) Every believer is called to share the gospel. This week, we wrap up our series by looking at how Romans 12:1-2 strengthens and encourages believers through the gospel. 

At Easter, we remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. These two events are at the heart of the gospel. Have you ever played the "what if" game? We are often tempted to think we know better than God. Pastor Dwayne Milioni from Open Door Church in Raleigh, NC, challenges us not to play the "what if" game but to live in light of the providence of God from 1 Samuel 29:1-11.

In this stand-alone sermon, Pastor Michael preached on Psalm 34 and invited us to see for ourselves that God is even better than we think.

In this sermon series, we will look at the journey of Abraham and his family as they follow God's call and trust His promise. Along the way, we will grow in our understanding of God and His covenant promises and what it means to live by faith, especially when our circumstances are confusing or discouraging. On Sunday, Pastor Michael preached on Genesis 49-50 and reminded us that God provided a Savior who will come again to deliver His people.
