The Spiritual Quest of All Your Life
“When we declare, we do. When we think, we dabble.” -Mia MoranI used to have a bookshelf of productivity books (mostly unread), a recycle bin of half-used calendars and planners, and too many days where my bag was filled with ideas and reminders on sticky notes and envelopes.I know I'm not alone, because over the years of helping families plan healthier meals, I kept hearing it again and again. We just can't get together for family dinner. I'm too busy for selfcare. I don't have time to cook the meals I really want to eat. If I work, I won't be there for those I love, much less take care of me.We are all busy. As entrepreneurs and loving women, as passionate people who want to explore our interests and live healthy lives, we struggle to find the time or make the time.I learned I couldn't separate my healthy lifestyle goals, my family, and my spirituality and self-care from my work planning. Once I get it all on one page and look not for balance, but for FLOW between the different parts of my life, it starts to make sense. This isn't a quick fix solution, nothing that really works is. Instead you focus on breaking down your goals and continually flowing forward. And when you get off track, you have your system to come back into FLOW.I created the FLOW Planning method, because it was what I needed, and as I shared what I was doing, other women got interested. I want you to keep moving toward the life you want: a life where you reach your big business goals—and have time for family and health and spirituality too.So grab a notebook and a pen and the calendar on your phone. I'll walk you through my process (and share my daily planning pages). At the end I will share the easiest way to put this process into action. All Your Life on a PageThe FLOW Planning Method is a mix between journaling and calendaring. It is a way to keep moving towards what you want, one season and one day at a time. It's about knowing where to focus and what little things you can do in all areas of your life that will have a big impact. It's about starting from a kind, gentle, centered energy — always. It's about allowing yourself to imagine the best possible life, over and over, in each area of your life. The FLOW process breaks life into 4 categories:Food & wellnessLifestyle & familyOm (aka spirituality and self-care)WorkToo often we commit to our work or parenting for a phase of our life, and ditch the rest. When you get really intentional in all 4 areas, magic starts to happen.Lean Into Your Feminine Energy with the FLOW ProcessRemember the FLOW brings together all parts of your life. As you go through the steps don't separate out work and home and self-care and health.1. Tune in.Let your soul guide you. Don't choose based on what you think you need. The feminine gets centered and gets connected to a vision before making any choices. This is when you engage your imagination, journal, meditate, walk, pull a card, open to a passage. Let yourself be guided and calm.2. Get everything out of your head and onto paper. We hold so much in our heads and it holds us back. Just the act of getting everything down on paper can greatly affect your productivity, your creativity, and decrease your stress level. In the FLOW Planning Method, we call this transfer from head to paper.3. Trust your intuition and vision to help you make a plan for the next 90 days.I always encourage women to think about their future self. 5 years tends to be a good timeframe, but really its about dreaming where money and current situations are no longer an issue. Design your top goal in each of the 4 FLOW categories for the next season. It's more productive to focus on the next 90 day season.Stillness and...

Tonya Sheridan Gives Her Insight Into the Law of Allowing the Necessary Fourth Step to Utilizing the Universal Law of Attraction Putting the Universal Law of Attraction into play requires completing the following four steps: ask for what you want believe it is already yours let go allow The fourth step, the Law of Allowing, is often the most difficult. But in order to fully manifest what you want, it is necessary. So, What Does the Law of Allowing Require? The Law of Allowing requires that you put yourself into a state of openness and non-resistance to everything and everyone. This is a two-fold process that begins with allowing good energy to flow through you, around you, and in you. Although this is our natural creative state, far too many of us have allowed negative, habitual thought patterns to form. Think about it. How much of your precious time do you spend mulling over and expressing disapproving thoughts about yourself, your job or your life? How much energy do you waste entertaining and conveying negative judgements or opinions, getting mad at others for being who they are, or obsessively taking in every nuance of the latest tragedy? It might seem harmless, after all you are just thinking and talking, you are not actually DOING anything. But the fact is, remaining in a place of judgement, fear, anxiety, or anger, keeps you in aligned with lower vibrational frequencies. Remember, the Universal Law of Attraction states that "like attracts like." So if your vibration remains low, you will attract to you experiences and people that cause you to continue to stay in a low vibration and block things from you that will raise your vibration. How do you know if you are aligned with lower vibrational frequencies or higher ones? The best way to begin this discovery process is to pay attention to what is going on in your body and how you feel emotionally. When you are aligned with lower energy frequencies you will have tightness somewhere in your body. It could be your stomach, neck or shoulders. You might have a headache or backache. You will feel sad, hopeless, fearful, anxious, separate, maybe even hateful the majority of the time. When you think of others you feel judgment, jealousy, and annoyance. When you are aligned with higher energy frequencies you will feel a lightness in your body and mind. You will feel a sense of flow and unity with everything. Emotionally, you will feel love and warmth, hope, excitement and passion the majority of the time. When you think about others you do so from a viewpoint of empathy and compassion. Once you have the hang of paying attention to what is going on in your body and how you feel emotionally, begin to experiment with different thoughts. See which ones make you feel emotionally and physically good. Which ones make your shoulders drop or your stomach unclench. Which thoughts yield feelings of joy, contentment and peace. Also start to notice which circumstance and people trigger negative thoughts. How do you feel after watching the evening news? What kind of thoughts are going on in your mind after participating in an office gossip session? Try replacing the evening news with a silly sit-com and choose to skip the gossip session by going for a 15 minute walk instead. See if you feel safer, happier and more accepting. However, once you have discover the benefits of not watching the news, for example, it will be tempting for you to want to “convert” your family and friends. Sharing what you’ve discovered is fine, but be careful not take on the low energy of self-righteousness or judgment. Which Brings Up the Second Part in the Two-fold Process of the Law of Allowing The second part is that you allow everyone to be as they are. Judging, tolerating, and attempting to change others is the opposite of allowing. The Law of Allowing requires that you are not feeling negative emotions in relation to what others are doing. If someone is doing something that annoys you or making decisions that you know are not in his or her best interest, it is appropriate for you to communicate your point of view in an emotionally neutral way, but then you must let it go. Do not push back, try to change them, tolerate what they are doing or try and figure out why they do what they do. When you are in a place of allowing, you are no longer presuming that you know what is right and wrong for someone else. You allow them to continue on their individual path and see their lessons through. If you cannot maintain a neutral vibration towards someone else, take steps to remove yourself from his or her presence. And then from this separate place, spend time raising your vibration by thinking about this person from a place of compassion and empathy. The Universal Law of Attraction is Simple in Concept but Complex in it Application. There are many subtleties and nuisances to applying the Universal Law of Attraction. Some consider it an art form because it requires in depth study and tireless practice to master. This blog is in no way intended to be a stand-alone piece. If you are intrigued by what you read and listened to in my interview with Tonya Sheridan be sure to check out her website. A couple of blogs devoted specifically to the Law of Allowing are All Your Life and The Art of Allowing Yourself and Others to Succeed.
We've been fortunate enough to watch Kimberly, Neil, and Reid Perry grow into the polished artsists they've now become. Not only has their self-titled debut album gone platinum, but their latest hit "All Your Life" has been certified gold, as well as taking the top spot on the charts. This all follows the huge success of their monster hit "If I Die Young." Kelly Lynn had a chance to catch up with the sibling trio at a party to celebrate their most recent achievements.
