We will only have the fullness of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven with both men and women leading. We need the voice, leadership, and gifts that women have in the Church. In this message, Pastor Andrew Fish talks about God's design in the garden of creating women. He then goes through the two key passages of scripture, 1 Corinthians 14:34-36 and 1 Timothy 2:8-15 that have been used to prohibit women from speaking, leading, and pastoring alongside men specifically in a public church environment. “When you look at the whole of scripture you find women teaching men, you find women leading as prophetesses, judges, and apostles. You find women walking with Jesus. You find women evangelizing. You find that the great commission is both men and women going into all the earth making disciples of all nations.”

Jesus in John 16:8-11 gives us three specific areas of the Holy Spirit's Conviction. Those three areas are: conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgement. The role of the Holy Spirit as one who convicts isn't something we should be afraid of and run from as believers but run towards. Conviction should make us happy. When we feel conviction we should feel happy because it means the Holy Spirit wants to bring us deeper into the light, correct things that may need to be corrected, and help us conquer.

As we are in relationship with Him we are to engage His heart and to lean into Him. Those that ask receive, those that seek find, those that knock the door will be opened. We need men to step up and be father's in this hour! A Father following Jesus refuses to let culture dictate who they should listen to, bow down to, or worship. A father stands firm and fights for truth. He refuses to let culture dictate how to father but instead takes a stand for what it looks like to walk in purity and righteousness. We took time this Sunday to commission men by having the elders that shepherd our house pray, honor, and bless them.
