The guys are back to discuss what seems to be a never ending nightmare. #GroundHogsDay However Jules offers a very interesting in-depth analysis on why the Giants OLine is the way it is… Is there better days ahead ? We Think so but until then enjoy our weekly NFL picks and more
Lou & Dave take a trip down Marlboro lane sharing all of their childhood smoking memories. The nightmare scenario unfolded at Met Life Stadium with Aaron Rodgers going down to injury. The silver lining to the devastating loss was the Jets victory of the Bills. The guys breakdown the gut wrenching moment and address the beating the Giants took. The many boyfriends of Rachel Hunter. How many celebrities did she date? It appears to be a lot. Election season is here and I-95 is looking for a Mayor.
Aaron Rodgers went on the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, putting an end to the lingering questions about his future by proclaiming, “I intend to play for the New York Jets.” The trade is all but a formality at this point, as both teams continue to negotiate and come to an agreement on compensation for the 39-year-old future Hall of Famer. And in Green Bay, they're prepared to roll with 2020 first round pick Jordan Love — who has backed Rodgers up for the first three years of his career — as their QB of the future. But is Love ready to follow in the footsteps of Rodgers, and Brett Favre before him? ESPN's Packers reporter Rob Demovsky has seen every moment of Rodgers' career in Green Bay, and he takes us inside the breakup between one of the NFL's legendary franchises…and arguably its greatest player ever. Jen Aczualdez (JA) and Rafi Fuentes (RF) (aka: JARF show) reminisce about their latest NYC party gathering with entertainers at La Pulperia in Hells Kitchen, where Jen discovered Rafi's voice as he serenaded the group. Darren is jealous. Rafi talks about being in Miami getting ready to be a contestant (instead of a translator) on a real life/live TV show: Enamorándonos by Univision! Will Rafi find Love and a new date for his disco bathroom? Or will it end in bean bag disaster? Jen will be in Miami next week! Will JARF meet up in Miami with Rafi showing Jen his dance moves? Jen tells us what it was like to be a guest at a Jewish Seder with not so delicious Kosher Manischewitz wine, which "needs improvement" (more alcohol, less sugar). Darren is home, preparing to leave for Dallas, ready to cruise the bars in Oak Lawn TX, he'll try Rafi's double-look behind. Will there be escalators at the bars? Will Darren get lost and find himself at the closed Electric Lizard? Rafi doesn't know how to open a Tesla. Darren doesn't know who Ja Rule is. Ahh the generation gap. Jen contemplates her next world travels post-miami. And will the three be getting stoned at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford NJ in the future? But Jen has mall-PTSD so probably not. Or now that pot is legal in New Jersey with dispensaries opening soon, maybe she'll have more at her disposal, to calm her down. Recorded on Saturday April 16th due to Rafi & Darren traveling on Sunday.

This week's Deadpod has been a often requested show for some time.. I think I hesitated in putting it on the Deadpod because it was such a well-known show, and it had been broadcast back in the day on TV. Still its probably one of the finest shows of 1991, and since its anniversary was coming up, I decided it would be a great time to break it out here on the Deadpod. This show occurred back on June 17th, 1991 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford NJ. They blow out of the gate with a spot on Eyes of the World.. I really loved seeing this on TV as you could tell how much Jerry and Bruce were enjoying the interplay on this song, and you can clearly hear it in their playing. This is only the first first-set Eyes of the World since 1975... they follow with a very good Walkin' Blues, then a very good Brown-Eyed Women, with a fine Hornsby lead in it.. what follows is quite unusual, as Jerry breaks out the Dark Star motif, which the band picks up on, and while they don't actually play Dark Star (until set 2) the thematic is present throughout the night, and adds another element of excitement to the already interesting playing.. Weir follows with a Masterpiece, then we get a fun Loose Lucy.. Cassidy and a rockin' Might As Well close out set 1.. We'll listen to set 2 next week.. Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ (6/17/91) Eyes of the World Walkin' Blues Brown Eyed Women Masterpiece Loose Lucy Cassidy Might as Well You can listen to this week's Deadpod here: http://traffic.libsyn.com/deadshow/deadpod061513.mp3
