Fiery Fridays are BACK and in today's episode, Adrian Durham gets straight into it and congratulates Phil Foden on his retirement! Despite being just 25-years-old, Adrian can't fathom why the Man City midfielder has signed a new four-year contract at the club when he can't get a run in the team, and thinks he should join a newly promoted side instead. Interestingly, there wasn't too much push back from Alex Crook and Angelina Kelly - which might highlight Foden's struggles right now. Speaking of Crooky, and he's parked his tanks on the lawn of Anthony Gordon - who he believes Newcastle should cash in on right now. Meanwhile, Angelina has focused on Myles Lewis-Skelly's move into midfield and believes he should partner Declan Rice in midfield - not for Arsenal, but for England! As you know by now, every Friday is all about bold opinions, strong feelings, and arguments just waiting to happen. As the week winds down, we're turning the heat all the way up… that's another three HUGE opinions… no sitting on the fence… and absolutely no fear of things getting a little heated. It's another episode you do not want to miss! The person sitting next to you at church this weekend is someone you'll be spending eternity with. That new believer who doesn't know anybody yet needs you to reach out. And that Christian you've had a sharp disagreement with, the one you've criticized behind their back, God is probably going to tell you to spend the next thousand years with them and work it out. The relationships we build in the body of Christ aren't just for a season. They're eternal. Paul's farewell to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20 is one of the most emotionally raw moments in all of Scripture. Three years of deep ministry together, and now a final goodbye, he knew was permanent. That kind of bond doesn't happen by accident. So think of one person in your church community you've let distance grow with. Because if you're going to spend forever together, building something real now seems like a pretty good place to start.Pursuing God with Gene Appel is designed to help you pursue God, build community, and unleash compassion. Grounded in Scripture and shaped by Eastside's conviction that God's grace is for everyone, each episode invites you to discover God's presence and activity in your life.

This documentary is available in multiple rips for free on YouTube or you could pay four dollars to rent it. Don’t do that. Regardless of your stance RE: pornography, what you get here is a pretty sad attempt by evangelicals pretending they’re not evangelicals to present vaguely scientific arguments that porn is some kind of unique brain-destroying chemical. There’s also a pretty horrific segment where a lady just ruins the shit out of her ex-husband’s life. Idk man. It sucks. We talk about this, The Substance, and The James Hetfield on this one. Since 2016, the LA-based supergroup, cover band, and iconic institution for all things Dead-related, Grateful Shred, has been a presence on the sonic scene for the last decade, emerging as one of the most well-respected and highly regarded acts of thier generation. Blending the essential efforts found within the Dead's early energy from the 1960s psychedelic era with the cosmic countryside of the early 1970s, the Shred, and its creative core have captured with incredible accuracy, the electrifying essence of the band with poetic precision. After a lightning-in-the-bottle moment on Shakedown Street in 2017 during a Dead and Co. show at the Hollywood Bowl, the group's luck changed overnight when a viral video, "Busted at the Bowl," was uploaded to their YouTube channel, and the rest became harmonic history. On this episode of The Self Portrait Gospel Podcast, we sit down with Horne and McCutchen to chat about the group's origins, favorite eras/albums of the Dead, the Shred's debut album "Might As Well", Dan's Dubs, Blade's Boards, and much more.

SEASON 4 EPISODE 8: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: Donald Trump might as well have shot those kids in Minneapolis himself yesterday. Trump sends the WRONG guns in the WRONG hands to the WRONG places pursuing the WRONG criminals. You want to be tough on crime, Trump? Deploy the National Guard to the headquarters of the gun-manufacturing companies and arrest the monsters who make their money from the child-murdering business. Murdering children during their thoughts and prayers. And have ICE round up the politician prostitutes who take the gun money to protect a lie about what the second amendment really means. These are the criminals. Trump is the criminal. Trump is soft on crime, especially on the most prevalent, heart-rending crime of our century, school shootings. You want to push back against Trump as he militarizes this country? As he makes it The United Police States of America? You want to make something good happen in the wake of these latest children that we as a nation have sacrificed on our mindless altar of worship to guns? You want these to be the last? You have to say it; you have to SAY the truth: Trump might as well have shot them himself. Democrats are strangling themselves by listening to consultants and strategists who insist they cannot push back on Trump's deployment of troops in big cities because polling shows Trump's only policy that gets approval (53%) is his new stance on "crime." And yet the biggest political event of the week was a man who simply stood up and concisely and with controlled rage told the truth: Trump is crazy, Trump is trying to provoke violence, Trump's enablers will be prosecuted (or betrayed by him), and the media is bothsidesing us to death. His name is Governor J.B. Pritzker of Illinois and his comments may have been the true headline of this week. Also, bookkeeping news: the fine folks at iHeart and I have agreed to continue this podcast through at least the midterms. And a further announcement on a wider footprint is coming. B-Block (27:33) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: This may be the best edition of this, ever. Could this be the craziest thing (out of the 50,000 crazy things) Stephen Miller has said? Is he the first person to use the phrase "pool hall" in 60 years? Oh here we go: my ex is back in the news and stuck with the worst headline I've ever read: "RFK Jr's Digital Lover." And Candace Owens is being sued for defamation by the President and 1st Lady of France and she wants Trump to declare them "foreign invaders" and is amazed he won't because she's just not bright. C-Block (44:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Do people like Owens believe the crap they spout? I actually have 45 years' experience dealing with the phenomenon of the product subsuming the salesman. I met Rush Limbaugh when he was just a baseball guy and 30 years ago he stood at my desk at ESPN dreaming of doing SportsCenter. I knew Hannity when he said "why do people get worked up about this? It's just TV?" And then the link is established. The more they believe, the more money they make.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

OA1149 - Even as most of the Biglaw establishment falls to Trump's whims, lawyers from smaller firms are stepping up to do the most necessary work  on the most important issues of our times. We're here to tell you a little more about some of them! But first: The House passes the “No Rogue Rulings Act” and we rip into some fascist nonsense from MAGA legal “thinker” Mike Davis defending the President's absolute  right to call anyone a terrorist and send them to hell without a hearing. Also: DHS's “evidence”(?) in support of Mahmoud Kahlil's deportation,  SCOTUS ‘s surprise mid-episode ruling ordering the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from a Salvadoran gulag, and more on the truly inspirational lawyers who are aggressively pushing these fights forward. In today's footnote: can you sue ChatGPT for “hallucinating” terrible stories about you? One heavily-armed Georgia talk show host is gunning to find out.
