AI is completely changing how people find and engage with brands — and traditional marketing strategies aren't enough anymore. In this episode, I sit down with Josh Hanosh, VP at Three29, to unpack how artificial intelligence, machine learning, and new AI tools are reshaping marketing, search, and lead generation. We talk about the rise of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — why it's different from SEO, how AI “thinks,” and how brands can position themselves to be discovered when no one is “Googling” anymore. Josh shares practical tactics for optimizing your site for AI bots, building smart backlinks, leveraging FAQs and question clustering, and future-proofing your marketing strategy. We also explore how AI is driving massive productivity gains, freeing teams from repetitive work so they can focus on creativity and strategy.

This is another celebratory episode in response to Coco Gauff's incredible run to the Wuhan title. “Big Coco, never the little one” won all of her matches in straight sets at the WTA 1000. It's the American's second crown of the year following her French Open triumph earlier this season. The 21-year-old world No 3 now has 11 singles titles to her name, including two majors and three WTA 1000s (and don't forget the year-end Finals title last year). Jasmine Paolini also did herself proud in Wuhan with a 6-1, 6-2 statement-victory over Iga Swiatek – a player she had never beaten before – in the quarter-finals. Paolini was beaten by eventual champion Gauff in a competitive semi-final. The Italian is now in Ningbo looking to secure a WTA Finals singles spot. To close we share our thoughts on the family affair in Shanghai – shout out to champion Valentin Vacherot and his runner-up cousin Arthur Rinderknech. We also ask why it's proving so difficult for guys to step up in the absence of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.” Don't forget to rate, review and share on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Audioboom. What do Michelle Obama, John Stewart, and the Kelce brothers have in common with our own community? They're all finalists in this year's Signal Awards, and so are long-time community members Dominic and Kenda Lawson, who together scored six nominations across three shows. Beyond the awards spotlight, we cover AudioBoom's $325M creator payout, Apple Podcasts' quiet rollout of new availability controls, and the surging growth of podcast audiences in Brazil and Canada. We also flag a dangerous new scam that preys on podcasters with fake celebrity invites, and break down Podscribe's push to shift the industry's focus from vanity metrics to true engagement.
