Pese a toda la polémica relacionada, algunas basadas en leyendas urbanas otras no tan leyendas, Gals Panic tiene una mecánica divertida que con el tiempo se ha visto demasiado oscurecida por ser el llamado vulgarmente "juego de las chinas en pelotas". En el episodio, Enrique nos cuenta alguna de esas leyendas y también lo que hace importante al título.

In the 90s, there were hundreds of lesser-known ska bands that were amazing. Many of them were better than the bands getting radio and MTV play. On today's episode, we present one of them: The Impossibles from Austin, Texas. A band that seamlessly melded Op Ivy verses with Weezer choruses. Our guest today is Impossibles vocalist/guitarist Rory Phillips. We dig deep into the group's short time in Austin, where Gals Panic were local legends, and DIY spaces like Eco Action Warehouse hosted punk shows. We talk about the group signing to Fueled By Ramen, touring with MU330, and having a cameo in a shelved Goldfinger video. We also talk about Rory's recent collaborations with Barry Johnson of Joyce Manor and his post-Impossibles power-pop band The Stereo that he did with Jamie Woolford of Animal Chin. The Stereo was a group that influenced Dashboard Confessional, Fall Out Boy, Jeff Rosenstock, and New Found Glory, and whose album Three Hundred was named one of the most influential records of 1999 by Alt-Press. Lance "Fever" Myers has been a professional animator for over twenty years. His work can be seen in the feature films SPACE JAM, ANASTASIA, and Richard Linklater's A SCANNER DARKLY; as well as in over twenty-five successful video game titles, including Turok Evolution, NBA Jam, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Myers has written and directed twelve animated shorts, many of which have shown on HBO, MTV, Adult Swim, PBS, and Canada's Movieola. His "labor of love", BOXER STORY, is slated from completion in 2017. Mel speaks with Lance (who he first encountered as the frontman for Austin ska sensation Gals Panic) about his influences and journey through a career in animation...where his first major gig was drawing Bugs Bunny. Por que no será el programa sesenta y nueve, pero como está cerca nos hemos decidido a hacerlo En la primera parte tuvimos bastantes problemas con la grabación y el Skype, pero esperamos que no se note mucho o si se nota que seáis comprensivos y le echéis la culpa a los castos electroduendes que interfirieron en la grabación. Nos metemos en harina y para ello empezamos con los Arcades, hablamos de Gals Panic, Gals pocket, strip poker y Cobra mission, con una breve mención al Super Strip Fighter IV y a la saga Larry. Recordamos como libamos descubriendo a la señorita de turno mediante nuestro cursor en el Gals Panic mientras evitábamos a la araña, el fuego o la figura infernal, tetraedro, que nos traía de cabeza. Siempre con cuidado de que no nos cortaran la línea mientras estábamos dibujando y de no coger items que bajasen nuestro porcentaje o en último caso !No encerrar a nuestro compañero! o sí, que nos daban una vida. Cambiamos de estilo y nos vamos a los billares, allí nos estarán esperando unas cuantas bellezas a las que iremos conquistando y quitando sus atuendos a golpe de taco. Con puntería y habilidad conseguiremos meter las bolas en los agujeros correspondientes, las de billar malpensados. Aprenderemos varios trucos y efectos con la bola blanca para poder aligerar a las chicas de sus prendas. Seguimos frecuentando sitios de dudosa reputación, cambiamos la mesa de billar por la de poker, estaremos junto con tres chicas a las que primero deberemos desplumar todo su dinero y una vez no tengan un miserable dolar encima empezarán a empeñar sus prendas de ropa por reengancharse al juego. Con lo que aparte de incrementar nuestra codicia también podremos conocer algo mejor la anatomía femenina. Después de tanto juego de interior que mejor que irnos a una isla cerca de la costa de Florida. Viajamos a la isla cobra en el cuerpo de JR y mientras hacemos el "voyeaur", mirón por nuestras tierras, nos vemos envueltos en la investigación de chicas en la isla. Así que ya tenemos excusa para conocer a todas las chicas de la isla e interactuar con ellas. Y como no podía faltar la referencia recurrente a Custer Revenge. Nuestro vaquero erecto viola indias preferido. Aquí os dejo el mencionado al videojuego Super Strip Figther IV, bajo vuestro propio riesgo, no lo hemos probado, pero si alguno se anima con el infierno que dicen es configurarlo ahí lo tiene. Después del empacho de tetas que nos hemos metido en la versión digital viajamos hasta Londres. finales del siglo XIX la barriada del East End ha ido viendo como la delincuencia y la gente de dudosa moral han ido asentandose en el barrio. Las prostitutas están en cada esquina. Y ellas serán las tristes protagonistas del juego que os traemos hoy Sombras sobre Londres (Letters from Whitechapel). Las desdichadas serán las victimas de "Jack" un asesino que ha puesto en jaque a las fuerzas del orden londinenses. En este juego de 2 a 5 jugadores, uno de ellos tomará el papel de Jack el destripador, y el resto serán los policías que intentarán detenerle. Para ello explicamos las fases de juego y como se desarrollan las mismas, como decimos en el audio nos recuerda al anteriormente comentado La furia de Drácula.
