The Bible tells us that when we trust Jesus Christ as Savior, we are united with Him and adopted as one of God's children. On today's episode of The Verdict, Pastor John Munro is teaching what it really means to be sons and daughters in the family of God.
When you think of salvation do you primarily think of God forgiving your sins? That's certainly true, but salvation is much more. On this episode of The Verdict, Pastor John Munro explains that not only are we justified by faith in Jesus Christ, we are adopted as children of God. What an incredible privilege!
This Sunday we kicked off our Summer series, which is all about what we value as God's family, the Church, and how these values play out in our church family at Kingdom Vineyard. This week, Lucy looks at how we can engage with the Bible to help us get to know God better.

God makes no secret that faithful living requires diligence. He also clearly explains the great need that Christians have for other Christians in this adventure with Him. Because of this, it is important for each child of God to fearlessly lookout for the needs of one another. This study explores the significance of God's compassion and His expectations for His children to show this divine quality as well. Recording of a sermon given by Greg Chandler on July 11, 2021.
Romey Ritter shares on the wonders of God's family. With personal stories of welcoming people into the family of God, this episode will encourage you to more than just attending a service or performing a religious ritual. God wants us in His family and He has gone to great lengths to provide us the opportunity to join with Him.
Christ desires that as we follow Him, we experience unity with the family of believers around us.

Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, July 22, 2021 “Then Peter came and said to Him, ‘Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?' Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.'” The equation Jesus presented to Peter about forgiveness was solvable mathematically, but in terms of our debt and the limit on mercy, it represented something unattainable. Pastor Steve's message from Matthew 18:21-35 guides the forgiven on what it means to forgive, as Jesus provides two instructions to govern our practice of forgiveness within the family of God. Steve's message follows a brief announcement about our Wednesday night Summer Series to conclude this week. Worship music permitted under CCLI License #264436.
As believers, we are united together in Christ and loved by our Heavenly Father; and the world will know we are sons and daughters of God by our love for one another. This past Fourth of July Sunday, Filmore Bouldes concluded our CHURCH IS: series with CHURCH IS: God's Family.

This episode was going to be titled "What is the Church?" but at our recent soccer camp at the SAFC, one of the kids attending the camp asked "How do you become a part of God's family?" This was such a great question I decided to use it instead! Does membership in God's family require some kind of official admission? What unifies the Church? How does grace play a role in the daily lives of members of God's family? Is the Church just an institution or something more? Tune in to find out!
Throughout the bible we see a developing picture of God in relationship with his people. The Old Testament people of God provide the Christians of the New Testament (and beyond to our present day) with a language to understand themselves in relation with God. This language is rich with metaphor and imagery, which is the focus our reflections for this week. This episode reflects upon God as our Father, and us as his children: we are Family.

#Prayer #Pray #Gift #God #Praying Watch the Video Can you enter into the world of a billionaire? - Into their family? - If they are good and generous, they might help us. - But I am not sure if anyone would allow a poor person into their family. Ø Through prayer, we enter into the ‘world of God' Prayer as God's Gift Ø Therefore, to enter into it, we need to get God's permission or invitation Ø What right do we have to get God's invitation or permission? Ø Who are you? Ø Whatever or whoever we are, we are NOTHING. Ø The pandemic has taught us this in a harder way, though we knew it theoretically. Many adjectives are used to describe life and important ones could be - temporary and uncertain. Ø The Holy Bible says: “Lord, what are human beings that you care for them, mere mortals that you think of them? They are like a breath; their days are like a fleeting shadow” (Psalms 144:3-4). “All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return” (Ecclesiastes 3:20). “For dust you are and to dust you will return” (Genesis 3:19). “The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; 16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.” (Psalms 103:15-16) “All people are like grass, and all their gloryis like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall” (1 Peter 1:24) Jesus Talks With a Samaritan Woman (John 4:1-26) “I am thirsty” (John 19:28). We all have family. For some that’s a joy. But for others, it’s a painful reminder. Either way, we know that family shapes us and affects the trajectory of our lives. What’s more, we want our family to be the best it can be. Family matters to us — and it also matters to God. And how we form and play our role in it largely determines how we experience it. That’s what we’re exploring at Velocity in our sermon series called Family Matters. Be sure to join us at 10 AM this Sunday in person or online as we discuss what the Bible says about this important topic.
