Welcome to the At The Flicks review show, the only review show you will ever need. This month the team discuss some big hitters and there is agreement for many of them. To prove that statement, here are the movies being reviewed: - Jack Snyder’s Justice League : Our big review of the month. So big in fact, we had to bring in Elijah from America for his comments. - The Little Things : No, not a reference to Graham’s height. This is the latest from all round superstar Denzel Washington. - Palm Springs : A sort of update on Groundhog Day. Also sort of Jeff’s worst nightmare – reliving day after day with co-presenter Neil. - Six Minutes To Midnight : Eddie Izzard’s latest feature split the team. However you won’t be able to hear much of Jeff’s incisive wit and perception as Graham cut it. Jealousy is a terrible thing. - The Kid Detective : Adam Brody stars in this mystery which proves to be more of a character piece. Oh, but there’s more. An excellent Dash from Darren this month including The Columnist, Love And Monsters and The Owners. There is also dissension in the ranks as the quiz is taken over by Phil this month. Many say it is better than the ones Jeff has been providing. Many, but not all…. Are you the listener of the month? Check out the show to find out. If not, maybe next time. As always we hope you enjoy (even if you don’t agree with) our take on some of the big hitters released in the last few weeks. Please let us know what you think, as we do like to hear from you. Until next time – take care and stay safe.
Although it is the beginning of April, we're not fooling you, this is a new episode of Punk Goes Pod. Sam and Emma discuss unappealing dirty talk, disappointing movie experiences, and "I'm Real (Murder Remix)" by Jennifer Lopez Ft. Ja-Rule, as covered by The Starting Line for Punk Goes Pop.
Teresa talks to improviser and actor Alan Starzinski about his lifelong question of identity. As a child, he reveled in impressions and goofs and as an adult he realizes he examines his personality as a puzzle of pieces he's borrowed from icons and idols around him. We discuss the nature of authenticity and how to pay homage without mockery. Listen to Alan's Clubhouse show C*medy and follow him at @alanstarzinski.

This week the guys revisit Ja Rule's third album, "Pain Is Love." Although it received mixed reviews when it was initially released, it went on to become one of Ja's most successful albums to date with singles like "I'm Real," "Livin It Up," and "Always On Time." But outside of the big singles, was the album overlooked?
One of the unintended consequences of using a random number generator to dictate what year you'll be discussing on your podcast is that you sometimes end up spending an entire week talking about 9/11. That's what happened here and Andrew and Dan are sorry? Just as America was going through a modern tragedy, J Lo and Ja Rule were topping the charts with their remixed ode to being horny for each other. Get your controversy hats on! This one is a doozy.

Well this week we are back to talked about some shelved movie ideas! This week we don't have a script but there have been a lot of details coming out about the cancelled Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Sinister Six films that were scheduled from Sony before they decided to cut a deal with Marvel and recast Spidey for the third time. We also take a look at The Amazing Spider-Man franchise as a whole, and re-evaluate Spider-Man Homecoming before taking a deeper dive into the world of comic book movies. This episode also features the song I'm Real by a good friend of mine, Josh Gash. If you want to send in any questions or comments you can send them to shelvedfilmpodcast@gmail.com. you can follow us on Twitter and Instagram @shelvedpodcast. This week Paula tells us of her & Carlo's adventure in Nashville! Our makeup minute is MASKS! Amy describes using the blackhead remover mask and Paula recommends Tonymoly's "I'm Real". Amy also recommends Freeman masks & scrubs. The fat-phobic disaster of the week is Chance the Rapper, although we're quick to forgive him because he is our fave. The fat positive win of the week is Ashley Nell Tipton for her line of accessories for big people! The fucked up shit this week is the acquittal of Betty Shelby, the person who murdered Terrence Crutcher. Our recommendations are Kanye West's College Dropout and Late Registration, as well as the podcasts Modern Love and Nancy, and The Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry.
In this episode Tim, Scott and Brent talk about: The Comic-Con Justice League trailer!!!
