Rams Day 3 picks are in and the UDFA class is signed. The 2024 Draft is a wrap, and the Rams seemed to have carried over some of the same methodologies from 2022 that propelled them to a 10-win season in 2023. But now, with a 1st round pick in Jared Verse, pairing him with his brother in Braden Fiske and truly bolstering up the defense from top-to-bottom, there's plenty of reasons to believe this team is going to be really tough to beat again in 2024. They have exactly what they need to put another really successful product on the field for us Rams fans once again. Shoutout to Coach McVay, Les Snead and the whole organization for giving us constant hope and reasons to believe.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This week we visit the land of Generation Z also known as iGen, also known as Centennials, also known as Nexters featuring Aiden Hayes, Paige Jackson, and Michelle Jackson. This conversation expands our appreciation of who young people are becoming as a result of the stories they have been told and the ones they are telling themselves. We listen to how stories impact their behavior, their thoughts, and their dreams, DJ KHALED, music industry megaproducer and recording artist reminds Gen Z as well as all of us in his book The Keys, and I quote: “We the Best" means exactly what it says. I didn't say I'm the best. That's an important distinction; I said we. That means me, Fan Luv, my team, and everybody who's got love and positive energy. Let me ask you this: If somebody came up to you and asked, “Are you, the beat writer, chef, producer, director? What would you say? If you don't declare that you're the best, I'm disappointed. You are supposed to say that you are the best because let me tell you, you are the best. You need to own it with confidence and conviction. Say it to yourself first a thousand times, and then say it to others a thousand more. For real, Is somebody better than you? Nah. "We the Best". You have to speak your success into existence because absolutely no one else will do it for you. That's why I started my first label, I called it "We the Best". Were we the best yet? That's up for debate. But did we have the drive and the passion and the necessary dedication to be the best? Without a doubt, Muhammad Ali, rest in peace, said, “I am the greatest, I said that before I knew I was.” DJ said, make your life about fulfilling your vision and dream big.” End Quote Let's listen, be inspired, and get smarter.

Hello and welcome to another episode of the Failed Critics Podcast! Joining hosts Steve Norman and Owen Hughes this week are Andrew Brooker and Jackson Tyler, sharing their opinion on the latest installment of the Pitch Perfect franchise, as well as George Miller's triumphant return to post-apocalyptic Australia with Mad Max: Fury Road. Starting off the podcast as ever is our quiz - in its new revamped format! With things teetering on a knife edge, will Steve lose and be forced to watch Kill Keith yet again, or will he win and force Owen to watch Kill Keith again? Or, with a bit of luck, will the cursed video-tape that is Keith Chegwin's magnum opus finally be passed on to somebody else so we never have to darken our DVD player with it ever again? We also chat about the 68th Cannes (with an 's') Film Festival, from the end of the McConaissance to institutional sexism. There's even room for Owen to revisit a film talked about exactly 150 episodes ago; Jackson shares his love for Alexander Payne's... See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
