Tune in as Rick (Pixel Project Radio) collaborates with Arthur for a review and recap of Pet, the 2016 thriller that uses its familiar premise of a man stalking a woman to deploy some interesting and unnerving twists and turns. The debatable efficacy of how this movie explores the psychology and the power play at the core of its tale, an autistic-coded reading of Pet that leads into a tangent about The Babadook, and medical content and plot points that leave the hosts greatly suspending their disbelief comprise some of the talking points for this episode. Directed by Carles Torrens, Pet stars Dominic Monaghan, Ksenia Solo, Jennette McCurdy, Da'Vone McDonald, Nathan Parsons, Janet Song, and Sean Blakemore. Tread Perilously's look at modern Syfy and Fantasy continues with the Lost Girl episode "Sleeping Beauty School." With Bo still missing, but everyone else's memories restored, Dyson and Hale search down a tip to her whereabouts. It leads to a beauty shop where the proprietor, Selene, keeps a tracker named Endymion under her thrall. Will an elemental played by Mia Kirshner help them spring him from Selene? And will anyone help Dyson figure out what became of Bo? Meanwhile, Kenzi babysits a reincarnated Tamsin. Will she be able to handle a Valkyrie who presents as a young girl? And will she be ready for what occurs when Tam's aging accelerates? Erik and Justin immediately admit to their crushes on Ksenia Solo. They also discuss improper uses of Mia Kirshner. The perils of "connective tissue" episodes in genre shows are explored. Is "filler" the better option? Erik thanks the stars who have helped delayed a Crow reboot. Endymion is never pronounced correctly. Croker the Merciless from Evil Alien Conquerors pops back into memory as a discussion of enjoyably bad movies occurs. The Death Train never fails to delight. Reed Birney does not appear and, in a moment that will stun Lost Girl fans, Justin finds the show "not gay enough."

The Girls have me! Lost Girl and Final Girl Reviewed I have finally been able to sit down and watch the long awaited last season of Lost Girl. I have been waiting for this to come out and binge watched the entire last season in one sitting. The event was so...we shall say memorable...that it had to be discussed. Oddly enough, a suggestion for me to watch afterwards was the film Final Girl. Liking the look and theme of what I was into that evening, I hit play. Interesting take on a sociopathic mob mentality and those that go up against them. Overall, an experience to be shared so here it is!!

We ask her about how the writing process works on Lost Girl, if the writers are still planning to hold Kenzi to that favor she owes The Morrigan from "Table for Fae," who came up with the brilliant idea for that car wash promo, and whether she has a bet going with the other writers to get Ksenia Solo to make out with as many of her fellow cast members as possible.
