Hey everyone! thanks for sticking around and waiting for some new stuff! i had originally planned on taking the party though may and june, however i had a concussion in late may/ early june and was unable to mix anything till now. If you've been anywhere near a circuit event in the last 20 years, you've no doubt danced to the uplifting, hi-energy, diva rousing productions of Wayne G The man has single-handedly re-worked some of the most iconic gay anthems of the past two decades. From Kylie to Cher, Wayne's remixes are designed to make us move, sweat and revel in our own gayness. Some of his most notable anthems are from Australian singer and gay ally Shauna Jensen whose massive voice can get the party started — even in the smallest of venues. If you had to make any comparisons of his work — that honor would be to Hex Hector who was given his own multi-set tribute many years ago. Both employed the epic anthem that built layer upon layer before dropping from exhaustion only to pick right back up. These mixes are fairly long clocking in at 8+ minutes. I took a scalpel to many of the songs to keep the party moving along in coherence with today's listening expectations. Wayne's induction into the Party Favorz Legacy Series was already pre-planned but expedited when one of our followers requested it and sent over some rare tracks that even I didn't have. While I couldn't use everything as his back catalog is extensive — I used enough in this massive tribute to get everyone up on their feet and praise the DJ gods. Please take notice that two of the tracks "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera and "I'm Outta Love" by Anastacia are rare bootlegs and appear to be in mono. I could not secure full stereo-quality productions but the remixes are so good — they had to be included for posterity's sake. It is my sincerest pleasure to honor the very talented work of the masterful Wayne G with his own tribute for excellence in dance music production as well as his massive contributions to the gay experience that will last a lifetime. This set was recorded live from Hunter's Nightclub in Fort Lauderdale, FL on November 24, 2017. It was part fundraiser for an HIV/AIDS support organization called Poverello and a Tribute to DJ Wendy Hunt, who was one of the DJs for this bi-annual event, and who, after struggling with depression, took her own life. She was legendary in the club world, a mentor to me and a friend to all...especially if you owned a dog!!! :) Produced by Joe Solar & JohnB Thorpe: DJ: Robbie Leslie, David Knapp, Randy Bettis & Warren Gluck...with a tribute set of Wendy Hunt. With a cool clear sky morning in the ATL, I  thought it apropos to put out the 2012 Fall Edition.  In keeping with past traditions of this series, I wrestled up a HOT cowboy for your eye-candy pleasure to helm the cover art.  Yee Haw! Originally this came out to two sets, but then I realized Gay Pride is coming up this next weekend in the city so I went back and did some serious editing to bring it down to one to give it a more upbeat feel. Overall, I am beyond pleased with how this came out as I am certain all my circuit boys will be as well.  My new favorite tracks of the moment are the stellar Danny Verde remix of Mariah's “Triumphant” (a song that I really don't like) but I'll be damned if Danny didn't give it that kick it needed; Wayne G's 2012 re-version of the camp classic “I Just Wanna Dance” complete with new vocals by the amazing Alison Jiear; Diva Convention's massive floorfiller “Hearbeat” and Nelly Furtado's latest “Parking Lot” where Wayne G once again glitter bombs the song making it a playful club floor romp. I am about to start on the Halloween Edition this weekend, but first I gotta get myself to work.
