Party Favorz is back with the third installment of the Ultimate Tony Moran Legacy series. As we get deeper into these sets, Moran's brilliance as remixer/producer really begins to shine even brighter. Whether the remixes were for his own collaborations for his own "Event" compilations or for other artists, Moran has racked up  a record  #1 songs (some on the Dance Club charts and others on various other charts including the Hot 100). As he became known for his live performances, the name Tony Moran became synonymous with marquee shows that have packed audiences across the globe, while paving the way for others like Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Skrillex and Avicii who transferred their skills from the recording booth to live stadiums. It's been a busy week here in the Party Favorz household with one drama after the other leading up to a suicidal Betta affecitonately known as Karl who jumped 5 feet out of his tank while I was preparing to change his water. He later passed after he couldn't handle the stress. It's a wonder I got as much done as I did. Shortly after this post, there will be a 4th and final volume of this Legacy set, which will be followed up tomorrow with another by a different artist and then the final volume of the Thank God It's Disco series next week. If anyone is keeping track, it's also about time for the annual X-mas Dance series to drop, which you can look for on Black Friday. Expect something different this year. After road-testing the latest T-Dance set for Pride, we thought we'd get ahead of the curve and do a late-week drop before the weekend. Pride T-Dance Edition 2021 is part of the Party Favorz re-entry into T-Dance, which was a staple in the early years of this podcast. This special Pride edition is chock-full of updated gay anthem classics as well as current House Music tracks that are perfect for Sunday afternoon reveling or frankly, anytime you want something a little less hard-hitting than our traditional circuit and anthems sets. Dropping this now will allow for the creation of Gay Anthems For a New Generation 2021 with a (hopeful) release by this upcoming Sunday but don't hold us to that. If we can clear the slate — it will buy us some time to start the Apple Music transfer that was discussed in the Pride Edition 2021 last week and is going to be a long tedious process. Additionally, we were informed that the issues surrounding our app had been resolved but they still persist. So, that's going to require additional testing, which in turn necessitates more free time. Ultimately, an earlier release of these sets allows folks already celebrating Pride before the official U.S. date and the international Pride Day a week later to get into the spirit as these events take place. Continuing on with the 2020 editions of Mardi Gras anthems comes the 14th installment. This edition explodes out of the gate with a killer remix of Kylie's "Love At First Sight" by Tommer Mizrahi and the energy level kicks on right to the end. Classic tracks from Florence + The Machine and N-Trance get great new mixes from Sagi Kariv along with an awesome Guena LG remix of the 90's anthem "Ride On Time" by Black Box. Tommer Mizrahi strikes again with another brilliant mix, this time for Lady Gaga's "The Cure" and Tony Moran & Warren Rigg turn in a stomper for "Not Enough" by John LePage. Beyonce's "Love On Top" is a floor filler as well. I thought the Freemasons had done the definitive mix of "Most Precious Love" but Dirty Disco's epic mix is every bit as good. March 2020's Mardi Gras anthems started with Whitney Houston in the 13th edition and finishes with her in this 14th edition. That lead me to their Facebook page, where I was reminded that Barry Harris, you know the GAYEST half of Thunderpuss was also half of the one-hit wonder group in the late 80's.  I Beg Your Pardon is scheduled for a full release in mid-July with all new remixes from a variety of DJs.  This appears to be an exciting project and I can't wait to get my paws on the new updates of this classic song. Ultimately, Got Pride? 2014 is a culmination of remixes that plays like 7 degrees of Swishcraft.  Virtually every song or DJ in it has some connection back to the GAYEST label in the world, including the GAYEST of them all Wayne G LOL. Sprinkled with some newer updated gay anthems and a few notable new releases, Got Pride? 2014 smashes the objective and rains down like a Skittles commercial.  Taste the RAINBOW indeed! There are so many variations of the Winter Edition cover I could have gone with this year.  Given the controversy surrounding the Gay Olympics this year, Sochi would have been an obvious choice as would Mardi Gras. There are so many variations of the Winter Edition cover I could have gone with this year.  Given the controversy surrounding the Gay Olympics this year, Sochi would have been an obvious choice as would Mardi Gras. He quickly fell for the harder side of dance music and became a regular at underground raves held in the Arizona desert. In the summer of 2000, he moved to San Francisco and was transformed by the diverse local dance scene, which includes parties like Universe, Pleasuredome, Mass, Fag Fridays, and Trannyshack. After a year of immersing himself in San Francisco's vibrant nightlife Steve bought a pair of Technics turntables off of Craigslist and began crafting his own unique sound that incorporates elements of vocal, disco, tribal, and progressive house with occasional forays into techno and trance. Happy Friday! I finally got this finished late last night (I mean, I couldn't have a Fireworks mix and release it after Independence day, after all). I had finished a lot of it before I was gone to NYC, but it still had a lot of work to do. I haven't had a lot of time to listen to it for problems, so please excuse any you hear. If you listen, there are actually fireworks on this mix at 1:42:12, thanks to Kelis - 4th Of July (Richard X Remix). There is also a shout to MJ in here with a couple of songs. The first time I listened to D.O.N.S. - Earth Song (Club Mix), I immediately got goose bumps. I think it's a gorgeous electro version of that already beautiful song and the lyrics couldn't mean more today (hello BP). Yes, If You Could Read My Mind makes another appearance. In an effort to get things back on track and wrap up on Thursday of this next week, I'm sending up v6 of the Pride Edition and what a whopper this one is!  I'm talking, about bodies movin', non-stop groovin', asses shakin', floors are breakin', queens are freakin', hoe's are creepin', divas flowin', everybody knows it's time to STAND UP and put your hands to the sky!  AHH HELL YEAH! Sorry, I just get a little carried away, but this mix of almost all brand-spanking new circuit beats gave me a hard-on that has lasted for days!  There IS some seriously deep, dark. progressive, tribalicious sh!t going on here.  Hopefully, I haven't cut the pending Summer Edition tracklist to bring you these fresh new cuts for your Pride consumption.  Then again, you know me, K j A M always delivers the goods, so I'm confident I'll be able to work that out when the time comes. Kicking things off is the oft-time flaky hysterics of Sir Ivan.  After last fall's Kumbaya, I thought this guy's shtick had pretty much bottomed out and I was pretty hesitant to even listen to his latest Hare Krishna.  I'm glad I did because Tony really hit it with his production and delivers the goods like he hasn't done in some time.  I guess it just goes to show that money can buy you fame, even if it's for 15 minutes or so. This is followed by some heavy hitters like Tim Letteer's Broke Free and Gustavo Scorpio's private mix of Kelis' Acapella.  Keep an eye out for Gustavo, because his mixes that he's been floating around the net, just keep getting better and better.  Another one to look out for is the San Francisco hottie, Jamie J. Sanchez.  No doubt, he's been working hard to tighten up his productions.  After this spring's take on Nasty Boy by Jipsta, along with his own Lift Me Up featuring Ria Spencer and his amazing re-work of Heaven by John LePage and Debby Holiday, Jamie is bound and determined to make an even bigger name for himself.  Keep this up and I see superstar DJ in his future.  Another song I've been getting sweaty balls over is Zayra's V.I.P.  Some of you may remember her turn on on the reality program Rockstar Supernova.  Well, she's back and readying an album entitled Baby Likes to Bang for a late August release.  This first single is simply delicious as it takes a swipe at the Hilton's and the rest of their Martha's Vineyard ilk.  With DJ Paulo doing the remix honors, expect to be hearing this song all over the place this summer; especially with Dave Aude and Mike Rizzo on board for additional remix honors. Max Sanna and Steve Pitron deliver a deeper and more progressive take on Kelly Rowland's Commander, while Ronnie Maze teams up with the in-demand Corey Andrew for the tearjerker Again.  I left out the spoken word portion of the song since we don't need any of you balling like a sissy during your workout while thinking about the one that got away. Having previously overlooked the Chus and Ceballos re-work of Not Myself Tonight, I gave it a second chance and for good reason.  This IS the best mix of this song to date.  No offense to Jody, whose work continues to astound me, but these masters of tribal took the song in a completely different direction that works on so many levels, I had to give them props. Offer Nissim showcases a much-needed change in direction, and it works!  Teaming up with Nikka, The One & Only is a terrific slice of what's sure to come from this Israeli mixmaster. Filipe Guerra and Lorena Simpson deliver their latest Breathe Again, with Tommy Love doing the remix honors.  I listened over and over to the bevy of remixes that accompanied this #1 Masterbeat tune, and Tommy really delivers the bang for the buck.  As much as possible, I've been shying away from typical circuit styled productions that sound like the DJ slapped an acapella over the same tribal beats they used for their last ten mixes.  While I won't mention any names, gentlemen it's time to step up your game.  You can't keep riding the same beat over and over....
